“Middle Eastern Male” Intimidation, American Style

From Drudge, a red-letter link to a story out west:

An alert has been issued by the FBI to all law enforcement agencies in Colorado and Wyoming involving U.S. military families and concerns about who may be watching them.

The alert says Middle Eastern men are approaching families of U.S. military members at their homes in Colorado and Wyoming. It mentions Greeley and Cheyenne, Wyoming as the specific areas.

In one case last May the wife of a military member was approached in front of her home by two Middle Eastern males. The men stated that she was the wife of a U.S. interrogator. When she denied their claims the men laughed. The two men left the area in a dark-colored, four-door sedan with two other Middle Eastern males in the vehicle.

“The woman had observed the vehicle in the neighborhood on previous occasions,” the alert states.

Similar incidents in Wyoming have been reported to the FBI throughout June 2015.

There isn’t any more information on this story, but since it has risen to the status of an FBI alert it’s obvious there is much more information under this bureaucratic “alert”.

“Middle Eastern men”?? Wow…Can you say BACKLASH?

The comment section is the usual Islamophobic gun-rights cesspit. Don’t go there; we all know how those people spread Hate, not Hope. Someone call the U.K. The Parliament can investigate the FBI and have it shut down.

  1. The families of servicemen are soft targets, they tend to live in ‘clusters’ and their menfolk are often away from home.

The FBI is too politicized for them to be trusted to protect and serve, so it is up to the military to look after their own. Get the spouses and the older children armed and primed…..

Get the younger children on ‘stranger danger’ watch, they are very good at it once they know what they are looking for. And guard the schools; if necessary make sure all the children travel too and from school in a group.

Most school parties in Israel have an armed guard, it works, the animals don’t like it when the victim shoots back.

    • The local police will step up but they can’t be everywhere. Especially in rural areas. The dependents need to establish a neighborhood watch program and teach the mothers and older children to start observing strangers who into the neighborhood and take down what car they are driving, etc. Learn to profile, profiling is good. If the strangers speak with a foreign accent and have beards, be worried.

If finances allow it, consider a security camera setup – they can be had relatively cheaply.

And yes get the older kids and mom some solid weapons training.

This stuff is really mandatory since Obama has been importing Muslims and Africans into the Mid-West and West in large numbers.

  2. For this sort of thing to even be reported, political conditions must have changed to a great extent in Wyoming over the past few decades.

Once upon a time, a tiny group of black communist radicals and their supporters gathered around the flagpole on the U of W quad with the intention of running up the flag of a newly-minted African tyrant who had recently been assassinated. This was intended as a tribute to the fallen revolutionary as well as a showing of support for the Comintern.

During this period there was great social unrest throughout the U.S. over events in S.E. Asia.

However, word had gotten out to the rest of the student body which was largely composed of the sons and daughters of veterans, veterans themselves, and the off-spring of conservative ranchers and businessmen. A much larger crowd soon surrounded the little group of leftists and it was very apparent that this much larger group was fully prepared and equipped to prevent the striking of Old Glory. After a few long minutes of silent but very palpable tension, the communists folded their flag and left the field.

A few members of the campus police remained some distance away and quietly observed.

None of this ever made it into the local paper, let alone on regional radio or TV.

  3. Very strange that non-military personnel were even able to gain entry to Warren AFB (if that’s where the military family lives). Visitors to on-base housing (when I was a kid and my father in the USAF) had to be flagged through the base’s main gate, staffed by armed Air Police–APs–then.

Maybe this family lives off-base? Or (shudder) the base is open access now???

  4. Why didn’t she do the obvious and make a note of the vehicle’s registration number?

    • Some people do not react quickly under stress – and this incident would obviously have stressed out the victim – observational skills and quick assessment of unfolding incidents is something to be learned for most folk and not inherent in everyone.

      • Fight or flight was often the catch phrase one would associate with responses to danger but freeze is another and most likely the most prevalent one, especially in the initial stages where the conscious mind is overcome by shock. Unethical defense attorneys in sexual assault court cases will reference the freeze response as implying consent when it is nothing of the sort.

The first two, and especially the first response, fight being fight back, require a considerable degree of mental training before it becomes subconcious and obvious.

        • Yes, I agree with you. Also, is it any wonder why the Collective Left have labelled any response by the victim to bullying at the formative level in schools – apart from becoming a tell tale and accepting that others (teachers) will do your defensive work for you that is – is verboten.
