Alton Alexander Nolen, a.k.a. Jah’Keem Yisrael, is alleged to have beheaded a former co-worker at a food distribution center in Oklahoma. Before engaging in activities that have nothing to do with Islam, Mr. Nolen attended the mosque of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City. Media reports in the wake of the incident quoted various sources who asserted that the ISGOC mosque did not promote any extremist ideologies or teach violent jihad to its members.
On Tuesday Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch interviewed a former member of the ISGOC mosque who emphatically disagrees with the rosy picture painted by the media. He is a native Oklahoman who converted to Islam and attended the same mosque as Mr. Nolen. He eventually became disillusioned with Islamic teaching and became an apostate.
Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for putting this video together:
Videos of khutbahs (sermons) by Suhaib Webb, formerly of ISGOC, and now the imam of the Islamic Society of Boston, the mosque frequented by the Boston Marathon bombers:
A video of Yahya Graff, who is also mentioned in the apostate’s remarks.
On September 27 I broke the story that a former member of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City had firsthand experience that the mosque was anything but “moderate.” On September 30, 2014, I interviewed a former member of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, the mosque frequented by Jah’Keem Yisrael (Alexander Nolen), who beheaded one woman and attempted to behead another on September 26. The ex-member revealed that the mosque was not at all as “moderate” as its leaders claimed in the wake of the beheading.
Among the explosive revelations: Mosque members said that if Osama bin Laden showed up at the door and needed help, he would help him because he is a Muslim brother. Once this former member went target shooting AK-47’s with two other Muslim converts — the targets were labeled George W. Bush and Ariel Sharon. They were taught that Islam would dominate the world and for unbelievers there are three choices: conversion, subjugation under Islamic hegemony, or death.
