Kidnapped from the Womb

In the video below Ezra Levant talks to George Igler of the British think tank Discourse about the young Italian woman in the UK whose baby was taken from her womb without her knowledge or consent. The mother, who is said to be bipolar, had some sort of breakdown. While she was in extremis she was sedated and the baby was removed by cesarean section. The child was taken into care, and more than a year later has never been given into the mother’s custody. Recent media stories about the case have caused an international sensation.

Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading this video:

Below are two media reports about the incident. First, from The Daily Mail (hat tip JD):

Social services forcibly removed a pregnant woman’s unborn baby by caesarean section and put it up for adoption after obtaining a high court order on the grounds the mother had suffered a mental breakdown.

Essex council obtained an order allowing them to sedate the woman against her will before taking her daughter and placing it into care.

The Italian woman, who was in Britain on a work training course, claims she had not even been warned that she would be given a caesarean. It is not believed a natural birth would have posed a risk to her or the child’s health.

Social workers argue they were acting in the best interests of the baby, who is now 15 months old, and are refusing to hand her back to the mother despite claims that she has made a complete recovery, The Sunday Telegraph reports.

And from ANSA (hat tip Insubria):

Italian Woman Fights for Baby Seized by British Authorities

Claims she was sedated and forced into caesarean section

(ANSA) — London, December 2 — An Italian woman whose baby was removed by caesarean section and taken into care by British social services is struggling to regain custody of the child, according to media reports.

The case has made sensational headlines after it was reported by Britain’s Sunday Telegraph that the woman, who already has two children, was visiting Britain 18 months ago when she had a panic attack and says she was forced to deliver and give up her baby.

The newspaper reported that British social workers obtained a court order that allowed them to take the baby from the womb of the mother, who has a bipolar condition but had not been taking her medication because of the pregnancy.

Police contacted the woman’s mother in Italy who explained her daughter’s condition, according to reports.

They then took her to a psychiatric hospital where, five weeks later, she said she was sedated and the baby was taken from her.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, returned to Italy and is now fighting for custody of her 15-month-old daughter.

  1. This is not a freedom of the press issue as they are in collusion, it is a story of the power and corruption of the professional class – lawyers, journalists and career politicians. A totalitarianism of professional vested interests that trumps political ideologies and can silently crush the powerless individual.

  2. Sounds like something from a Sci-Fi Horror Movie in a future that awaits us, but is prematurely here.
A sign of things to come and an uncovering of things already here!

All thanks to Treasonous UK Politicians and a Traitor Queen who have handed rule of the UK to the (illegal & unlawful) EU Dictatorship.

Given the circumstances, is there verifiable proof of the gender of the child in her prenatal records?

  5. As if the govt kidnapping of this child wasn’t alarming enough, listen again to George Igler’s response to Ezra Levant’s request for identity of specific laws justifying these heinous actions @ 4:40 mark. Igler reveals the key law is the “Contempt of law act of 1981” which applied to recent veiling of security breaches after Royal Fusilier, Lee Rigby, was slaughtered in broad daylight. David Cameron fled on May 23rd, after a security briefing! This summer there have been multiple attacks including jihad attacks on bases, decapitations, salafist attacks….NONE of which have been reported!
Clearly, none of these non-reported violent Islamic attacks help support Cameron’s statements or actions (fleeing) regarding Islam and Muslims after Lee Rigby’s death.

    • How do you know about “unreported” attacks? I’m not trying to put you on the spot; I’d like to know.

  6. Apparently the social services in Essex found out that the mother’s two older children had been taken from her care by the Italian authorities, so let’s not rush to judgement.

    • Thanks for posting the link, Phoebe; I’ve read the transcript. Don’t know if anyone else is still following here, but while I thought the judge’s reasoning was sound and humane, there was an intrusion of PC where he worried about the ethnicity of any potential foster-parents. Sadly I have no children, but if I did and they needed to be adopted, all I’d want is for their new parents to let them know they were loved and bring them up right.
