Freedom of Assembly in Germany

Below is the intervention read by Liz Schmidt, representing Bürgerbewegung Pax Europa (BPE-Austria) at the OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting in Warsaw, Session 8 “Freedom of assembly and association”, September 27, 2013. In her intervention Ms. Schmidt addresses the erosion of freedom of assembly in Germany, particularly as it applies to the new political party Alternative for Germany (Alternative für Deutschland, AfD).
