Could this really be the Sheikh Gilani? That is, the Pakistani Sheikh Syed Mubarak Ali Hasmi Shah Gilani, a known terrorist who founded Jamaat ul-Fuqra (“Community of the Impoverished”, also known as “Muslims of America”)?
Over the past thirty years Sheikh Gilani’s org has established a network of dozens of rural training compounds across the United States and Canada. It recruits new members primarily through proselytizing in the prison system.
It looks like him, and he’s wearing the same furry cap he sports in some of his other photos. But I await definite confirmation that this is indeed the illustrious sheikh, stirring up his fellow Muslims in the Indian province of Jammu and Kashmir.
