Keeping a “Little Jew” out of Britain

As a teenager living in England in the late 1960s, I traveled to the Middle East one summer for a tour of Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, and Cyprus. The members of the tour were advised not to have any Israeli stamps on their passports when they visited Egypt, and the tour was arranged so that we visited Israel after seeing Egypt and Lebanon.

Based on the following news story about what happened to a young Jewish American who flew into Heathrow earlier this summer, the same policy is now being followed in the UK. It seems that Britain has officially become a Middle Eastern Islamic country.

Note: In both the TV news report and the article, what is referred to as “Customs” is more likely “Immigration”.

Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for uploading this video:

Below is an article about the incident from Israel National News:

Kansas Jewish Man Refused Entry Into Britain

A Jewish student from Kansas was denied entry into Britain for a summer job several weeks ago – apparently due to a customs agent’s anti-Semitism.

After being detained for more than nine hours, he was put back on a plane to the United States by customs officials. During that time he was never told why he was being denied entry.

According to the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle, the British man who had offered Louis “Chip” Cantor summer work experience, Kevin Shilling, said the British border agent he spoke to in his attempt to get Cantor admitted into Britain made more than one anti-Semitic comment to him during the telephone conversation they had.

Chip Cantor told his story to two local television stations last month. On June 4, he told KMBC he was traveling to Britain to visit and gain summer work experience, and to participate in a fundraiser for a child who has cancer. He left Kansas City on Wednesday, May 29, landed in Britain after 10 p.m. London time and waited in line to go through customs.

When he got to the front of the line, a female customs agent began looking at his passport. Chip’s father, Chuck Cantor, said his son told him the customs agent was very pleasant toward him until she saw the Israel stamps in his passport. Then she simply walked away with his passport without speaking a word to him. Chip told his father he estimates she was gone 45 minutes to an hour. He never saw her again.

“He has a lot of Israel stamps,” Chuck said. Chip has been to Israel several times including two programs sponsored by Young Judea — the six-week Machon program and a gap-year program. Chip Cantor graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 2009 and will be a senior in the fall at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Finally, according to Chuck, a different, uniformed customs agent came to see him and told him the agents would be taking his bags and detaining him for questioning. He was not told why.

Once in the interview room Chip told his father that he was told if he changed any of his answers to any questions, he was going to go to prison.

“He said, ‘Why would I change my answers? I told you the truth,’ “ Chuck said.

According to the Chronicle, Chip wasn’t allowed to be in sight of his luggage and eventually was put into what he described to his father as a detention cell.

“At some point a woman who was wearing a burka came to the cell to photograph him,” Chuck said. At that point he was fingerprinted as well.

As she was doing this, she said to him, “We’re putting your name and fingerprints and photos into a database. From now on it is going to be very difficult for you to ever travel in the United Kingdom or anywhere in the E.U. It will be up to each individual country to decide if they want to admit you.”

Chuck said Chip kept telling the customs agents he had not committed any crimes or done anything wrong. Eventually another agent came to tell Chip he was being deported.

Now several hours after he was detained, Chip was given the opportunity to call his father. Chuck asked to speak directly to the customs agent involved and was connected with Philip G. Yeomans.

After Chuck spoke to Yeomans, he contacted Kevin Shilling, his managing director and owner of Shilling Communications, the British company where Chip was supposed to be employed for the summer. It was about 3 a.m., London time. Shilling, who is not Jewish, called Yeomans.

Shilling noted that while the conversation didn’t accomplish anything, Yeomans made several anti-Semitic comments. At one point, Shilling recounted, when Shilling was explaining the reason Chip was in the country, the customs agent told Shilling that Chip should have lied to the customs agent, adding, “A Jewish kid would find that easy.”

Yeomans, the custom agent, also told Shilling any additional attempts to aid Cantor would be useless and “the little Jew will be on his way back to his rich daddy,” in a matter of hours.

Chip said he was given only a half of a sandwich and very little water throughout the nine hours of detention. In the morning, Chip was escorted to the plane by another customs agent for a flight back to the United States. “The guy walks him onto the plane and in front of everyone, like a prisoner, he says here is this man’s passport. Do not give him his passport until you land in the United States,” Chuck said he was told. The American Airlines purser told Chip that, in 17 years flying internationally, he had never seen anything like it.

When contacted by the Chronicle, Shilling said, “I’m really so sorry for Chip and the way he was treated. I want to reassure all your readers that if they plan a visit to the U.K., once they get past the U.K. Border Agency they will find friendly, welcoming people, without prejudice.”

  1. I foresee celebrating the Glorious Fourth, Wednesday, with more relish than I have since the Bicentennial.

Incredible. Does anyone have a clue, hopefully a product of the grand old tradition of critical thinking, how this subversion of British immigration is being carried off?

Of course, the UK is free to determine policy as it sees fit, but I seriously doubt they would want it more widely known. This and other deeply disturbing stories, regarding anti-Semitic behaviour “under colour of law,” cropping up all over like weeds, will bite them in the ass in the long run.

Things are tough enough and resources are spread too thin to have to watch the flanks.

  2. This woman should be forced to pay for this man’s out of pocket expenses. The Brits have taken leave of their senses. She should lose her job. This should be pursued by the Chief Rabbi of United Kingdom, Lord Jonathan Sacks in the House of Lords.

    • It is not an individual problem any more. It is systematic now and has to be dealt with at an systematic level.

She should not be punished individually because it would deflect from the problem that Jew hate is now slowly becoming the feature of the system. You lock her up and immediately the next one is taking her place.

It is like with the Woolwich butcher. Islamic terrorism will continue whether he is convicted or not. You won’t gain anything by tediously charging and convicting foot soldiers acting as a group one by one. You’ll just deprive yourself of the big picture.

The move from individual problem to systematic evil is familiar in history. I’m thinking 1918-1945, of course.
This is the dynamic that Britain forgot.

  3. He should have demanded to see the American consul, next time tell those bloody paki redacted redacted and you want to talk to a govt official, not a contractor and be loud and direct about it.

  4. Generally speaking (though Roosevelt wasn’t terribly cooperative in the 1930’s re Jewish refugees and the infamous “Christian Front” Catholic anti-Semites of the time made life rough for Jews) America has remained the largest and relatively safest refuge outside Israel for Jewish people.

To get an idea how complex this refuge is, look at this pdf on the history of Boston’s Jews:
Historical Perspective of the Jews of Boston

In a way it’s representative of the best and worst in America’s dealings with Jews. Those in the South often fared better, but their story isn’t as well known, and the places they lived weren’t as intensely urban as their forefathers had been in Europe.

Some Jews have told me the US is the “safest” place to be, though always with a ‘but’. Others dismiss it as “just as bad as the others”. However, when pressed, these Resenters will admit they don’t want to be anywhere else either. Being singled out does take its toll.

As one young Jewish girl in Florida told me many years ago, “we’re safest where there aren’t many of us so we seem exotic and not a threat”.

Growing up in a Catholic ghetto in Florida (two percent of the population was Catholic then) I retain a memory of similar feelings of fearfulness and distrust. On the twenty-minute city bus ride to school (Catholic schools didn’t have school buses) I could have pointed out every Catholic home on the way. That’s definitely a ghetto mentality…

The Baron lived in a more pluralistic part of America and remembers fights with the Catholic toughs at the bus stop where he waited on school mornings.

  5. Next time he can fly to France…or a safer Continental country, and then row the remainder!

Seriously though, I doubt the British government really wants this kind of publicity.

    • “Seriously though, I doubt the British government really wants this kind of publicity.”

You might be right. It seems to me that its more like a personal “vendetta” carried out by some loose group of civil servants who do this under cover of their job.

If it is. The British government need to clean up that mess!

      • Cleaning up the mess may not be conductive to the public good. It may be detrimental to the community cohesion and may foster hatred which might lead to inter-community violence.

        • They could always hire indigenous shirkers from the millions of white unemployed underclass that were locked out of employment from the nineteen eighties onwards.

Deference, English as a second language and incompetence are the gold star qualifications for employment in the U.K.

      • EDL targetted, Spener and Geller targeted, Wilders targetted by uk govt. Hate speakers and terrorists are ok. This is not personal issue. People imprisoned for being anti pc. This is social control. First they control those that speak against the state, then they control those that supported the state. Simple marxist policy. Islam is being used by these people to distroy social structures in order to speed up marxism. The uk is close to a totalitarian state. Europe close behind. The states looks better off but is actually the lead body in all this pc madness.

  7. Heathrow airport is notorius for its domonation by islamic groups. Customs in particular is almost completely staffed by muslims. Christian staff are routinely bullied and discriminated against with complete impunity. On the frontline, women wearing niquabs are routinely waved through while others are thoroughly searched by staff – most often muslim men. If you don’t like what is happening in the UK – boycott it!

    • When you conquer, you must dominate the places in which foreigners move about in the country.
The occupation of the airport is truly a part of conquering the entire country.
      Welcome to reality.

  8. “When contacted by the Chronicle, Shilling said, ‘I’m really so sorry for Chip and the way he was treated. I want to reassure all your readers that if they plan a visit to the U.K., once they get past the U.K. Border Agency they will find friendly, welcoming people, without prejudice.’ ”

At least one thing about the above statement striking:

Mr. Shilling is “so sorry for Chip . . .” but where is the outrage? Apparently Mr. Shilling simply accepts that these activities on the part of British customs are simply part of the order of things. No outrage at all.

So he just accepts that the UK Border Agency discriminates Jews and has the power to deport them.

And apparently, these muslims in the Border Agency are completely free to do so. There’s no sense of outrage.

I’d be interested in seeing if there is every any follow-up to this story.

      • One should understand the power of the public sector unions in UK. such is their power that in many circumstances they have the last say in how ‘policy’ is enforced.

Given the propensity for the MSM to also cherry pick the news, I doubt whether anything will come of this.

The reaction of the potential employer demonstrates the feeling of hopelessness felt by most Brits when they come up against the brick wall of Bureaucracy.

    • Quote:

I wonder if the English indigene children and women would agree, Mr. Shilling!
      Reassure no one.
Islamization is the institutionalization of hatred.

  9. Let’s not forget that until recently, Israelis in general could not safely travel to Britain without the danger of being arrested if they’d served in the military or worked for the government.

So I’m not at all surprised at this occurrence.

You know, it’s a funny thing…a lot of people have written before on how those whom have oppressed the Jews always end up on the short end of history, no matter how powerful they were.

In 1948, less than 3 years after Auschwitz was liberated, Britain did it’s best to see to it that Israel was destroyed at birth, even arming and training the Arab armies in spite of their openly expressed goal of a jihad that would murder or drive out every Jew in Palestine. It was British officers under the notorious anti-semite Col. John Glubb who oversaw the ethnic cleansing of every Jew in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem by Jordan’s Arab Legion.

It may be coincidental, but after 1948, Britain lost its empire and much of its role as a world power.

It seems nowadays they are more than happy to appease the increasingly restless Muslim population they imported at the Jew’s expense.

I can’t help wondering if in response, they will end up losing what’s left of themselves as a free country.

    • There is an irony here, in the period 1941 through 1945 the Brits played the demographics game by importing hundeds of thousands of Muslims into the then Palestine Mandate territories whilst excluding those Jews being systematically murdered by the Nazis (these imported peoples make up the bulk of the so called ‘Palestinian refugee’ problem).

Now the position is reversed and the demographic potential is such that it is the UK in which the indigenous population with be ‘snuffed out’.

    • I am absolutely certain that the Lord is mighty cross with the rulers of Britain, for their pro Arab anti Israel stance. For that reason we no longer benefit from His protection and favour. I am also certain that the decline goes back at least to 1884 when the Fabian Society was founded, possibly even earlier. We have been so Socialist for so long that most people think it to be the normal state of affairs!

  10. I’m a British Jew. I find some of the comments absurd. Yeomans wasn’t a ‘Paki’ he is a WASP, and what I find most absurd is the pretence that anti-semitism has to do with immigration of Muslims or niqab wearing women.
His comments on ‘rich daddy’ meant he was jealous of Jewish wealth. That is and always has been one of the motivating factors of European anti semitism.

      • The weird thing about Barbara Lerner Spectre is that she is an American who made Aliyah, which means she is now Israeli. What the heck is she doing promoting mass immigration of Others and de-Christianization of Sweden in Sweden?

If I went to Israel and promoted the mass immigration of Others and de-Judaification of Israel, do you think someone might consider me to be a Jew Hater?

Barbara Lerner Spectre is utter [redacted] . Go back to Israel and leave other people alone, for God’s sake.

  11. This is what happens on the informal, micro level, when you change the people of a nation state. The nation itself changes, in a million x million small ways, just like this.

Same thing with Affirmative Actioning hostile minorities into positions of power within all of our institutions. There will be massive negative consequences as a result of this, for European Christian individuals and our nation states.

  12. I’m English and live in the UK. This story is just weird. I honestly don’t believe that we have any strong element of antisemitism in this country (we have bigger cultural and border-control problems than the odd Jewish kid coming over for a working holiday).

I’m not going to say any more right now but I strongly suspect that there is more to this story and would be interested to see how it develops.

    • I can believe it!

I was born in UK, I now live in Sderot Israel, as a family we decided that the UK was going the way of Germany in the 1930s, that was four years ago.

There are many petty ways in which officialdom can make life difficult, smearing dog excrement on the doorhandle of my car, oh no not racist, not on our patch…..

The now defunct British Midland made sure that I would never again travel on an Israeli passport if I can help it. The hostility of its desk staff was an embarassement.

At school and at University my chiildren were subject to racist abuse, it is endemic in Britain and most Brits cannot see it and/or make excuses for it.

Go to the ElAl gate at any European airport and you will see multiple guards armed with sub-machine guns. Ever wondered why?

So if the overt anti-Semitism turns out to be essentially correct, what are you going to do about it?

    • Keep an eye on the kansas city jewish chronicle over the next few weeks – i have a funny feeling that they will be running a follow up story which explains that the original was in fact not true.

  13. These days one is not surprised to find Muslim border processing staff at airports and UK passports in particular. They tend to be corrupt in the sense that they will use, or rather mis-use, their office to enforce personal goals which includes harassment of the kafir. There was the example of the person who quipped that he wouldn’t have been put through the third degree if he’d been wearing a burka and was pulled aside by a muslima official and refused permission to travel until he’d apologised, the police officer called in backing the muslima’s demand. Sharia law is in force in the UK.

  14. ‘Show me your wallet. I bet you’ve got a lot of money in there.’ These ‘contractors’ are trying to turn the UK into a third world country–sure, I’m sure young Mr Cantor was copping it for being Jewish, but he might have avoided the whole thing if he’d paid a bribe. The dirty so-and-sos want to be paid by the travelling public for doing the job they are already paid to go. I don’t like to go where bribery is necessary. The UK just got struck off my list.

  15. “At some point a woman who was wearing a burka came to the cell to photograph him,”

Was the Gestapo woman wearing a Bosnian Muslim 13th Waffen-SS Mountain Division insignia on her burka?
It all sounds so very Third Reich, with just more of a Muslim twist this time around.

  16. This sounds like the sort of leftist whining that you hear from folks that try to get into Israel and are turned back. The Israelis don’t tolerate anyone they consider a potential outside agitator/reporter/activist etc. , nor should the British. You may get a visa for Israel, but the Jewish Border Patrol at the Israeli airport is empowered to question you and send you right back from whence you came if your answers sound fishy. I applaud every country’s sovereign right to do what the Jews in Israel do.

God told us the Jews are a Light Unto the Nations. Follow the Israeli example.

    • The Israeli example is that a reason will be give for rejection, the point here is that there was no reason, no explaination and no accountability.

Israel tries very hard to intercept young women travelling to the West Bank as do-gooders not understanding the risks they are taking, and that Israeli Soldiers must then risk their lives trying to get them out.

I had a similar situation happen to me whilst exiting Riyadh KSA and I was scared…..

The number written on my passport at entry was wrong so they could not find the record of my entry into the country. I was taken to a room under an armed guard, I knew nothing and was told nothing.

To me, the worst thing is the inhumanity of the situation, the threat of prosecution etc. There might have been a good reason for rejection of entry even though none is apparent, but there is no excuse for the rude and crude mal-treatment, threats and imprisonment, this was just spite and intimidation.

    • So, because he had Israeli stamps on his passport, that made him a “potential agitator/reporter/activist” who must be kept out for the public good? Even though he had an employer (non-Jewish) vouching for him? Really?

And you don’t think it’s strange that Islamic hate-preachers are welcomed in, and not treated as “potential agitators/reporters/activists” who will disturb the peace or shake that all-important “community cohesion”?

There’s something very, very wrong with you if you “applaud” that scenario.

    • So you applaud the UK for banning the outside agitators, Spencer and Geller?

  17. This story makes me angry and anger can make one act out in stupid and destructive ways. The comments preceding mine show the same reaction from others but such suggestions are counterproductive.

British people, with whom we have so much in common, are assaulted by Muslims who want sharia and caliphate. Screaming that Britain is done for, doesn’t help us and it doesn’t help them. It just shows that we’re are scarred and angry. Calls for boycott is another counterproductive measure. Instead, we should seek out those in Britain who share our values and show them our support. People like the EDL.

Pamela Geller was denied entry. She is fighting back. She is not accepting this “new reality” and neither should we. Protest at the British consulate. Speak up about the abuses that our friends in Britain and Europe experience, which is exactly what GOV does.

  18. Anti-Semitism before the Second World War, after it and continuing long after it is
extremely sickening be it from whatever quarter and makes feel like throwing up.

  19. Are we sure it wasn’t because he was coming to work in the UK?
IIRC, the Brits have some pretty specific hoops you have to jump through to come to the UK and work, even if you are just an intern.

    • That’s it exactly. The UK has strict rules about foreigners coming to work. Doing so on a tourist visa, in particular, is frowned upon. This guy tried to pull a fast one and was called on it. Now he’s playing the antisemite card — from the bottom of the deck. [redacted]

      • But putting Islamic hate-preachers and their multiple wives and numerous offspring on the dole, courtesy of taxpayers? Not a problem!

  20. Sometime in the future we will have to invade England. Do they have any good beach landings like Normandy did?

    • None at all. That’s why Hitler didn’t invade in 1940. Islands, by definition are relatively easy to defend, particularly if they have narrow beaches and tall cliffs!!.

      Therell be bluebirds over
      The white cliffs of Dover
Tomorrow, just you wait and see
      Therell be love and laughter
      And peace ever after
Tomorrow, when the world is free

The shepherd will tend his sheep
      The valley will bloom again
And Johnny will go to sleep
In his own little room again

      Therell be bluebirds over
      The white cliffs of Dover
Tomorrow, just you wait and see…!

  21. So, we have a kid, probably exhausted after his journey, who made some suppositions. I rather suspect he is jumping to conclusions (as well as making mistakes – I travel through Heathrow about 2-3 times a week and although passport officers wearing hijabs are not uncommon (perhaps one-third of the time?) I’ve never seen any wearing a burqa.

Much more likely is he was entering on a tourist visa (or under the visa waiver programme) but told the passport officer he was coming to do an internship. In this situation normal procedure would be to refuse entry (and this may also be the context of the ‘rich daddy’ comments as unpaid internships are a controversial topic right now with an emphasis on the advantages wealthy kids have)

    • Then should he not have been informed rather than threatened? It is any country’s privilege to control their borders, but that does not entitle them to mis-treat people who make innocent mistakes.

      • He should have been informed – and I am sure he would have been as part of the deportation order. But after 3 days or so of traveling, arriving at 10pm and then 9 hours in (presumably) some physical discomfort/distress I can quite understand that he might not have fully appreciated the precise details of what he was told.

The fact that they made the effort to speak to his putative boss suggested they were looking into the work aspect of his entry

  23. There are a few details that make me suspicious that we have not had the full story.

It is not the custom to use a middle initial in the UK, that is an american custom, so to be addressed as Philip G Yeomans does not ring true.

I have travelled via Heathrow many times, and never seen an immigration officer in a Burka, or indeed in any public office. The Headscarf (Hijab) is quite common, but even the Queen often wears a headscarf!

Most of all, if UK immigration wanted to harrass Jewish people, then why hassle a Yank? There are several flights to Israel from Heathrow, every day, and El Al is amongst them. I know because I flew with them when I last went to Israel.

The whole story smells very fishy. Just because someone is refused entry to the UK does not make it anti-semitism.

And British citizens (including me) are routinely photographed and fingerprinted when entering the USA, and have to apply for visa or visa waver in advance, so what is the big deal?

There are certainly aspects of British life that are suffering from muslim ingress, but this story just does not ring true.

  24. Sceptic wrote “It is not the custom to use a middle initial in the UK, that is an american custom, so to be addressed as Philip G Yeomans does not ring true.”

Google reveals there is at least one PGY in Britain.

  25. He came to work without filling out the right paperwork to work.

Don’t go into the crazy antiSemitic paranoid fantasies. He should have told the customs guy that he was on holiday, he’d have been fine.

    Next thing
This site will do is go through Edward I’s expulsion. Alert alert, the political parties in the UK are often chaired or lead by Jews. Parliament itself is one of the most heavily representive Jewish legislative bodies in the world.

  26. There was a time when I was so proud to be “British”. That no longer applies.
I am so ashamed of what this country has become in the name of “Fairness”, “Equality”, “For the general good”, etc., that I have distanced myself from all such socialist propaganda.
I no longer consider myself to be “English”, “British”, or whatever, merely an individual acting for my own rational self-interest.
This country was once a great country……..it is no longer. It is rapidly becoming a cesspit, as is the rest of the western world. It started here with the nationalisation of various industries into the likes of British Gas, British Leyland, British Steel, British Rail, British Telecom, British Broadcasting Corporation, the Bank of England, etc., etc.
Throw in a National Health Service, A Public Education System, public roads, the welfare state and you have the perfect recipe for idolatry, degradation of services, failure of business and lack of employment opportunities together with rising costs due to the inflationary effects of printing money for the government to borrow while we pay the interest on it via our taxes, under threat of force, not they.
Now we are faced with the direct effects of so-called”Multiculturalism” as demonstrated by this heart wrenching story. Our dishonest, power-grabbing, elitist, career politicians only wish to garner votes in order to sustain their lucrative careers…damn the individual, you count for nothing in their grand scheme of things.

  27. As a former American consular officer and former English teacher in Taiwan, my instinct is to suspect that there was a disconnect between Cantor’s plan to work in the UK (even if as an intern) and his visa or lack thereof. Most countries have rules about what kind of visa you need to have if you plan to work. When I taught in Taiwan, I had to show letters and certificates issued by the college that employed me at customs, immigration, and police, and ended up walking around that country with a little green card with my picture on it entitled 外侨居留证 (albeit in Fanti rather than Jianti), which meant I was a legal immigrant. As a US Consular officer, I would’ve seen an application for a B1/B2 visa with an intention of finding a job as grounds for immediate denial. It’s the law, after all.

Still, I think the immigration officer’s comments about “rich daddy” and lying coming easily to a Jew were reprehensible, to say nothing of completely unprofessional. Further, I would not be surprised that comments of that nature were prompted by anti-Semitism and, perhaps, a culture that casually accepts it.

  28. Note woman who came to photograph him was wearinga burka. Maybe she has a lot of friends there. Just shows how Muslims are preferentially treated in UK

  29. every day I get more and more angry about the islamisation of Europe. JEws are far better than muslims.

There are a mere 13.4 Million Jews in the entire world yet they have received 195 Nobel Prizes.
The Muslims number 1.6 BILLION (with a very big “B”)… or 120 times the number of Jews! Based upon this 117:1 Muslim-to-Jewish ratio, one might expect the Muslims to have 23,400 Nobel Laureates.
They have NINE! and one of them [Arafat] is a murderer (Allahu Akbar, indeed!)

Unless the Swedes and Norwegians start awarding Nobel Prizes for plane hijackings, pizza shop bombings, civilian bus attacks, Jihad suicides/homicides, drive-by shootings, throat-slittings, embassy attacks and other such acts of barbarisms, the embarrassing low level of contribution to the welfare of Civilization and Mankind by the [Arab] Muslim world will continue. The Jewish People, meanwhile, will continue being the Lights Unto All Nations.

  30. I remember arriving back in Heathrow some years ago, after working abroad for a few years. I stood in the queue for passport control, the supervisor was white but all the 7 or 8 women checking passports were Asian wearing headscarves.
I remembered wondering what all the foreigners in the line would be thinking about this. I know I was thinking – What the hell is going on here? Who are all these foreigners, checking my passport to allow me to enter my own country?
I felt ashamed about how this presented Britain to visitors. I felt ashamed of my country, which was awful.

As to what has happened with this American chap – I think there is some more to it that is missing. Something just doesn’t sit right in this story, we need more information I think.

  31. As a psychologist who at one time did psychological evaluations for the Department of Social Services, I have to say that Chip and his father’s accounts have the ring of truth.

There may be “more to the story,” but it would appear that, whatever that might be, it was not told to them.

    I wonder why?

  32. P.S. What he was told was that his name would be put a list that would make it difficult for him to enter other countries. We don’t know if this is true or if it was just an attempt to harass or intimidate him.

Either way, it looks like there is something very wrong here.

    • My son who was born in Canada and has visited Israel has been denied a perspective student visa to the UK in June 2013. His Canadian passport now contains an admission to UK denied stamp. He has been advised that he may encounter difficulties entering any country for the next 10 years.

His girlfriend who applied with him. She submitted the same visa application for the same course of study at the same University. They filled out their Visa applications together and submitted the dame supporting documents. Unlike my son she was born in Iran and has never travelled to Israel. Her Canadian passport does not contain the admission to UK denied stamp.
