A bombing at a Shia mosque in Pakistan killed dozens of people and incinerated an unknown number of copies of the holy book of Islam.

The most likely suspects are… other Muslims. Pakistani Sunnis, to be precise.

Pakistan Bomb: Karachi Standstill After Shias Attacked

The Pakistani city of Karachi is in mourning after a powerful bomb ripped through a mainly Shia Muslim area, killing at least 45 people.

Schools and businesses are closed after a strike was called to protest against the attack in Abbas Town. No group has yet said it planted the bomb, which went off near a mosque as worshippers left evening prayers. Pakistan’s Shia minority are the target of frequent sectarian attacks from Sunni militant groups…

  1. While they’re killing each other they’re leaving the rest of us alone.

I thought the ‘Catholic vs Proddy’ wars in Ulster were bad enough. They were a playground squabble compared to the Sunni vs Shia conflicts.

    • Well, the ‘Catholic vs Proddy’ thing at least put a 30-year war into our history books, which after all cost only about a quarter of the population of the involved nations’ lives. We shall pray and wish good fortune for the muzzies to do better than that. May they all go to their eternal brothel in the sky.
