An Australian man who slashed his girlfriend’s face and cut off her tongue with a knife was sentenced to eight years in prison. However, because of the convicted man’s youth and the length of time he had already spent behind bars, the judge set the terms of his sentence so that he could be released on parole as early as next September. The case has a Mohammed Coefficient of 100%.
In other news, Iran has reportedly bought up billions of counterfeit dollar bills printed in China, and distributed them within the country to prop up the value of the rial, which has inflated severely in recent weeks.
