Pierre Cassen is a French author and former syndicalist. He is the leader of a campaign against the Islamic headscarf and other ostensible belief-related items in schools.

Mr. Cassen founded the internet newspaper “Riposte Laïque” in 2007. He was the organizer of “Pork sausage and wine” street event in Paris on 18 June 2010, and also of the “International meeting about the Islamization of our countries” in Paris on 18 December 2010.

For the Francophones among our readers, here is the speech given by Pierre Cassen at the Brussels Conference on July 9, 2012. A simultaneous projection of the English text of the speech was presented to the audience when he spoke. A version of this video with English subtitles will be available shortly.
