Gates of Vienna News Feed 2/11/2011Hosni Mubarak’s departure as president of Egypt has fueled speculation about what will come next in Cairo. The army has promised the people it will maintain order until a new government is in place, and that there will be real democratic elections. It has also promised to end thirty years of emergency law. Whether these promises are compatible with one another is yet to be seen.

Meanwhile, stirrings of revolt are beginning in Morocco and Libya, and more protests are coming in Algeria. Italy expects increasingly large numbers of refugees to land on its shores after fleeing the chaos across the Mediterranean.

In related news, NASA has agreed to name a Mars-bound rocket after one of the martyrs of the street fighting in Egypt.

Check out the song used by the hackers… The new muslim anthem..

I hated that song right from the start..

“I heard them say ‘love is the way’
‘Love is the answer,’ that’s what they say
But look how they treat us, make us believers”

typical muslim perspective.. Love has to be proven without, never from within..

One can never get away from hate if one’s core belief needs collective salvation to become evident before Love can be ‘believed’ in…
