Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/2/2011Two sixty-year-old locomotives have been called out of retirement from a railway museum in northern Sweden. Their mission? To clear the tracks on lines in southern Sweden, which has seen the greatest amount of snow in a century. Temperatures have been so low that salt is not effective on the roadways, and Sweden has significantly exceeded its snow-removal budget so far this winter.

In other news, up to fifty Anglican priests in Britain are expected to convert to Roman Catholicism before Easter.
