At the invitation of the former CDU MP René Stadtkewitz, Geert Wilders visited Berlin today to speak at a gathering of supporters of Mr. Stadtkewitz’ new political party, Die Freiheit.

Reports are beginning to trickle in from the event. The text of Mr. Wilders’ speech (in German) is available at Politically Incorrect. I don’t as yet have an English translation.

The “anti-fascists” had promised to do everything in their power to disrupt Mr. Wilders’ visit. There’s no word so far on whether they had any success.
