Ever since the Ground Zero mosque controversy first began, the big question has been: “What construction worker in New York City would be willing to build this mosque?”
Arabs and Pakistanis are not known for their construction skills — in Saudi and Dubai they have to hire Germans or Swedes or Brits or Canadians or Japanese or Americans to build their fancy towers.
In this Fox and Friends interview, Andrew Sullivan conveys the anger and frustration felt by the rank-and-file construction workers in New York at what they feel as their mayor’s betrayal. Many thanks to Vlad Tepes for YouTubing the video and adding the animation at the end:
And, yes, I admit it — I had a hand in the graphics used in that animation.

A construction and services boycott should be the least of their fears.
I wouldn’t bet a plugged nickle against a reprise of Oklahoma City.
The souls killed on 9/11 should not have to listen to the CALL TO PRAYER which will be broadcast from a load speaker out of that building.
How far does that racket travel? That’s how far away the nearest mosque should be built- minimum.
This made me wonder, who has been building all the other mosques in the US, UK, Europe: have native people been taking the muslim pieces of silver?? How do they feel about the thought that they have furthered the islamic cause? That their children will probably be upending their backsides in those very mosques – if they want to live!
This is a major issue; thanks for pointing it out and bringing it to my notice!
