Russia and Turkey have signed an agreement for Russia to build Turkey’s first nuclear power plant. The plant will have four reactors, and the Turks have promised that they will buy 70% of the electricity generated by the first two reactors that come online.
In other news, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said in a speech that if the euro collapses, so will European unity. Inexplicably, she says that as if it’s a bad thing.
