The pedophilia scandal in the European Catholic Church is exploding. It first emerged in Ireland, and now it has popped up in both Germany and the Netherlands. The number of cases increases every day.
The Church in the Netherlands has no sex abuse insurance, so the Vatican is going to have to pay off all those former altar boys out of pocket. My advice to Holy See is: sign the agreements now, denominated in euros. They will be worth a lot less by the time the bursar actually has to cut the checks.
