  1. So intriguing, CND was heavily infiltrated by the intelligence agencies it must therefore be assumed that its top echelons were open to compromise and manipulation.

    It is possible that the membership of CND were shunted and morphed into what was considered a safer form of political actavisim – the make poverty history campaign by the intelligence agencies.
