Queen Margrethe II of Denmark displays the moral fortitude so lacking in other world leaders. She calls it like it is — like it so painfully, truly is:

Good thing she has tenure in her present position. She sure wouldn’t be on track in any self-respecting American university. Or any American political seat, either. Imagine “helping” immigrants become Americanized. Berkeley would implode, Columbia would spontaneously combust. Hmmm…

Multiculturalism results in time-warp ghettos with a grudge. It’s a logical and pragmatic failure of immense proportions.
Some twenty years ago she expressed the almost direct opposite opinion – that we should welcome the immigrants better and not criticise them. So her new sentiments actually represent a turn of mind. Though I’m not much for royalty in general I always respect a man (and woman) whom can change her mind after reconsideration – I did so myself, used to be found on the left-wing – and I have but the utmost respect for myself, I’m such a swell person. Really. ummm.. anyway, needless to say the Danish leftist like her even less now.
She married a French prince. But he’s not king since the Danish royal laws does not make the queen consort king. Pisses him off some too. They’ve got two children. The oldest just married an Australian girl, from Tasmania no less – but with English parents. I was in Copenhagen with my two daughters to watch them drive through town in their gilded horse carriage – the girls were overjoyed to learn there were other princesses than themselves. The youngest prince married a half-Chinese, half-English girl from Hong Kong – they’ve now got two small children.

Even a prince cannot marry whom he wants … I am certain that many people are aware that common recounts are often vastly different from the private truth.
Here is a truth about Fred and the said meeting with the Tasmania girl Mary he eventually married.
Unfortunately there is another proposal left hanging … due to palace interference.
This is an actual but brief account of that night in the Slip Inn and the cruel deal dealt the prince and another unidentified girl who was his real selection for his bride.
Frederick met and fell for another Australia girl during the Sydney Olympics – but their contact was fractured and union was not allowed. This girl, his preferred but lost ‘love’, was not on the palace list. Frederick was not allowed to have whom he wanted.
The pre-selection process was too advanced and this now girl was not pre-selected.
What the palace did not realise is that this has saddened Fred. (The palace also did not realise that this girl was less of a commoner than the Mary they chose for Fred. This other Aussie girl has family connection to English royal warrants and is professionally more qualified than Mary.)
Fred loved this other girl, not Mary, but this was irrelevant to the Palace. They were not going to waste all their recruitment work and permit * to keep contact with Fred.
The said chance meeting with Mary was not by chance. It was instead a planned arrangement and Mary was the last girl of a palace pre-selection list.
Fred spent no time with Mary that ill-famous evening at the Slip Inn. He was with *.
Mary was not his newly found love. His love was another jovial and sporty girl who has a unique career including art teaching and national policy.
Before that night at the Slip Inn Mary already knew who Fred was and of the job role that lay ahead – if she was chosen “for the job”, as Fred put it. During introductions Mary commented on Freds title – check her official website. Also check their comments and references to each other. Yes, he says he met a girls that night but does not say this girl is Mary. He has never said he loves Mary.
Fred did not want Mary.
As he put it “Mary is the last option of an unsuitable back of nice girls who do not interest me that way, at all. They only want money and fame through me. They are not interested in me, who I am, the inner person. But you do.”
He loved the way * loved him, without knowing who he was. He loeved how they shared laugher, her infectionus smile and her appearance – with her long fair hair and the fact that she was shorter than himself.
Sadly Fred and *, whom he kissed and proposed to that night, are still apart and have no means of contact.
They will meet again.
Pity, he did not have the privilege to marry for love. She is still single.
