‘Progressive stacking’ not new, not isolated to Penn
The backlash may be new, but the method is not. Controversy erupted recently after tweets from an Ivy League teaching assistant showed her admitting she only calls on white male students as a last resort.
“I will always call on my black women students first. Other [people of color] get second tier priority. [White women] come next. And, if I have to, white men,” University of Pennsylvania teaching assistant Stephanie McKellop tweeted in October.
McKellop’s tweets spotlight a method known as the “progressive stack” in which speaking priority is given to minority voices while those deemed as having privilege must wait their turn.

Man Arrested Trying to Board Plane in Whitehorse With Undeclared Firearm in Luggage
31-year-old Abdirizak Mohamed Sahal in custody and facing weapons charges
Whitehorse RCMP stopped a man from boarding a plane to Vancouver early Wednesday morning, and arrested him for illegally carrying a gun.
Police say 31-year-old Abdirizak Mohamed Sahal attempted to board the plane with an undeclared firearm in his checked luggage. Police say the weapon was not loaded.
Sahal was taken into custody and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, and tampering with a serial number on a firearm.
He appeared in court on Wednesday afternoon and was remanded to custody until his next court appearance.

EU Parliament Launching Campaign Urging Voters to ‘Support European Project’
If you want a classic example of EU-style democracy in action, look no further: the European Parliament is set to push for a taxpayer-funded campaign aimed at stopping voters from backing Eurosceptic parties.
An internal strategy note sets out the plan clearly: “It is no exaggeration to say that the EU is at stake…campaign should not just aim to bring voters to the polls, but also convince them to support the European project.”
It amounts to a shockingly desperate and blatant attempt by EU federalists to limit support for rising forces right across Europe, from Italy to countries such as Hungary and the Czech Republic who are all rebelling against the Brussels project of open borders and mass migration.
Rather than the European Parliament comprising of those who reflect public opinion, rabid EU supporters now want to fill it with yes men who will agree to whatever the likes of Jean-Claude Juncker and others demand. It once again outlines why Britain is far better off out but shows the dangerous, disturbing direction the EU is now heading in.

German Election 2017: Merkel Desperate as Talks Reach Crisis
GERMANY could face a snap election as the nation’s would-be coalition partners meet for a last-ditch round of talks.
Angela Merkel hopes to secure a three-way conservative-liberal-Green alliance in a desperate bid to secure her fourth tern as German Chancellor.
But the parties are struggling to agree following four weeks of talks.
This weekend marks the final attempt for the so-called Jamaica coalition to find common ground in the divisive fields of climate and migration policy, in the hope of staving off a possible early election.
Volker Kauder, parliamentary leader of Merkel’s conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU), as he arrived for talks, said: “The next two days are going to be decisive.”

Sweden Under Pressure to Adopt Islamic National Flag
A social media campaign is pressuring Sweden to adopt a Turkish-style flag due to Islam’s rapid growth in the country.
A petition asking Sweden’s prime minister to do away with the current, “offensive” flag is nearing its signature goal as the campaign’s hashtag #ForBetterSweden continues to trend on Twitter.
“The Swedish flag is a constant reminder of our dark and oppressive past,” the petition reads. “Refugees and migrants are forced to live under its Christian Cross; a symbol of the Crusades and the slaughter of millions of innocent Islamic lives in Sweden’s past that makes them feel unwelcome and unsafe.”

Communism’s Murderous Trail of Destruction
A century ago this week, communism took over the Russian empire, the world’s largest state at the time. Leftist movements of various sorts had been common in European politics long before the revolution of Oct. 25, 1917 (which became Nov. 7 in the reformed Russian calendar), but Vladimir Lenin and his Bolsheviks were different. They were not merely fanatical in their convictions but flexible in their tactics-and fortunate in their opponents.
Communism entered history as a ferocious yet idealistic condemnation of capitalism, promising a better world. Its adherents, like others on the left, blamed capitalism for the miserable conditions that afflicted peasants and workers alike and for the prevalence of indentured and child labor. Communists saw the slaughter of World War I as a direct result of the rapacious competition among the great powers for overseas markets.
But a century of communism in power-with holdouts even now in Cuba, North Korea and China-has made clear the human cost of a political program bent on overthrowing capitalism. Again and again, the effort to eliminate markets and private property has brought about the deaths of an astounding number of people. Since 1917-in the Soviet Union, China, Mongolia, Eastern Europe, Indochina, Africa, Afghanistan and parts of Latin America-communism has claimed at least 65 million lives, according to the painstaking research of demographers.
Communism’s tools of destruction have included mass deportations, forced labor camps and police-state terror-a model established by Lenin and especially by his successor Joseph Stalin. It has been widely imitated. Though communism has killed huge numbers of people intentionally, even more of its victims have died from starvation as a result of its cruel projects of social engineering.

What Communists Did to My Family in the Soviet Gulags
A good way to grasp the breadth of communism’s evils is to understand the depth of the suffering in the lives of its individual victims.
On February 9, 1940, seven-year-old Witold Rybicki and his family awoke in the middle of the night to banging on the door of their home in Lida, Poland (modern Belarus). Outside was an officer of the Soviet secret police, then called the NKVD, who gave his father orders: “Do not run away. Your house is surrounded by soldiers. You have an hour to pack your personal belongings. Do not worry about bringing much. Everything you need will be at your destination.
The Rybickis were never informed of charges against them, evidence of wrongdoing, a sentence, or their destination. Witold, his parents, and four of his siblings were taken from their home to a train station, where they were loaded into a cattle car about 15 meters long by five meters wide along with about 40 other people. The car was completely bare otherwise, with just a hole in the middle of the floor for a toilet.
For nearly a month, the train traversed Eastern Europe and Russia toward Siberia, not allowing anyone outside of the cramped, filthy cars except for a short period on Saturdays. Every morning, soldiers delivered four gallons of water and one of soup for the entire car of 40 people.
The prisoners finally disembarked in a city called Tomsk. From there, they walked two days through the Siberian taiga (forest) in the dead of winter to a set of barracks with small, barren rooms built specifically for Poles. This was part of the Soviet gulag system, a chain of forced-labor camps and settlements where tens of millions of prisoners were punished and “reeducated” by the state through grueling physical labor in harsh conditions.
This account of life under Soviet rule is not an extreme outlier, but indicative of how the communist regime treated its own people. This week marks 100 years since the revolution that gave rise to communism in Russia and, subsequently, Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Avowedly Marxist regimes killed anywhere from 65 to 100 million people, a total so high that it is impossible for the human mind to conceptualize.
So goes the apocryphal Joseph Stalin quote, “One death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic.” A good way to grasp the breadth of communism’s evils is to understand the depth of the suffering in the lives of its individual victims. That’s why the stories of the Rybickis and others are apropos.

Surgeons Remove Worms, Other Parasites From NKorean Soldier
SEOUL, South Korea — Surgeons treating a North Korean soldier who was severely wounded by gunfire while escaping to South Korea this past week removed dozens of parasites from his body, including presumed roundworms that were as long as 27 centimeters (10.6 inches).
The unarmed soldier, whose name and rank have not been disclosed, defected to the South on Monday by driving a military jeep near a line that divides the Koreas at the Joint Security Area and then rushing across it under a barrage of bullets. Hospital officials said Saturday that it was too early to tell whether he will make a recovery.
While treating the wounds, surgeons found the large parasites, which may be reflective of poor nutrition and health in North Korea’s military. Doctors measured the soldier as being 1.7 meters (5.6 feet) tall, but weighing just 60 kilograms (132 pounds).
“I spent more than 20 years of experience as a surgeon, but I have not found parasites this big in the intestines of South Koreans,” Lee Cook-jong, who leads the soldier’s medical team, told reporters.
Lee is a famous trauma specialist who was hailed as a hero in 2011 after conducting life-saving surgeries on the captain of a South Korean freighter ship who was shot during a rescue mission after being held by Somali pirates.
While the North Korean soldier’s vital signs were stabilizing on Saturday, he continued to remain unconscious and relying on a breathing machine. After consecutive surgeries to repair internal organ damage and other injuries, no further surgeries are planned as of yet, said Shin Mi-jeong, an official at the Ajou University Medical Center near Seoul…

US Destroyer and Japanese Tug Collide
A US guided-missile destroyer, USS Benfold, has sustained slight damage when a Japanese tug drifted into it during a towing exercise off central Japan.
‘No one was injured on either vessel and Benfold sustained minimal damage, including scrapes on its side, pending a full damage assessment,’ a statement from the US Seventh Fleet said on Saturday.
‘Benfold remains at sea under her own power. The Japanese commercial tug is being towed by another vessel to a port in Yokosuka. The incident will be investigated,’ it said.
The incident was the latest mishap involving a US warship in Asia.
The US Navy announced a series of reforms this month aimed at restoring basic naval skills and alertness at sea after a review of deadly ship collisions in the Asia-Pacific region showed sailors were under-trained and over-worked.

Huge Turnout for Black Monday Protest Against Farm Murders in South Africa
At least 18,000 people and 5,000 vehicles gathered at Kanonkop, a farm in Klapmuts near Stellenbosch to protest against farm murders.
The City of Cape Town’s Richard Bosman said the group “Genoeg is Genoeg” (Enough is Enough) was given a permit to stage demonstrations on Sunday, but the number of people exceeded what the City planned for.
The farmers have called on all South Africans to wear black in commemoration of those killed on farms.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) accompanied the protesters.

Why Hatred of Whites is Here to Stay
Not so long ago, mere mention of the deliberate murder of whites in South Africa-country folk and commercial farmers, in particular-was called “racist.” “Raaacist!” the media collective brayed when candidate Trump retweeted a related “white genocide” hashtag.
It’s still “racist” to suggest that the butchering of these whites, almost daily, in ways that beggar belief, is racially motivated. Positively scandalous is it to describe the ultimate goal of a killing spree, now in its third decade, thus: the ethnic cleansing of white, farming South Africa from land the community has cultivated since the 1600s.
Be thankful for small mercies: At least the international media monopoly is finally reporting facts, such as that just the other day Andre and Lydia Saaiman, aged 70, were hacked to death in Port Elizabeth. (Imagine being chopped up until you expire.)
Or, that the elderly Bokkie Potgieter was dealt a similar fate as he tended his small, KwaZulu-Natal holding. Potgeiter was butchered during the October “Black Monday” protest, which was a nation-wide demonstration to end the carnage. Internationally reported as well were the facts of Sue Howarth’s death. The 64-year-old pharmaceutical executive was tortured for hours with … a blowtorch.
This black-on-white murder spree has been ongoing since a dominant-party political dispensation (mobocracy) was “negotiated in my homeland for South Africans. (Learn about “The American Architects of The South-African Catastrophe.”) But while the criminal evidence is at last out in the open, the motive for these hate crimes is only mumbled about for fear of offending the offenders.

After Daring Escape From Venezuela, Ousted Caracas Mayor Lands in Spain
The ousted mayor of Caracas pledged to spread his protest against Venezuela’s socialist government across the world as he arrived in Spain on Saturday, a day after escaping from house arrest and slipping past Venezuelan security forces into Colombia.
Antonio Ledezma’s flight from Bogota landed at Barajas airport in Spain’s capital, Madrid. With a Venezuelan flag draped over his shoulder, he hugged his wife and two daughters and said he would fight Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro from exile.
“I am going to dedicate myself to traveling the world, to spread the hope of all Venezuelans to escape this regime, this dictatorship,” Ledezma said. “Venezuela isn’t on the verge of an abyss, it has fallen into the abyss.”

500 Migrants Cross Mediterranean to Spain
MADRID (AP) — Spanish authorities say around 500 migrants have been saved by rescue boats as they attempted the perilous crossing of the Mediterranean Sea from Africa.
Francisco Bernabe, the Spanish representative in the region of Murcia, says 461 migrants have arrived at the southern port of Cartagena on Saturday after being pulled off of 44 different boats in the previous hours. The boats were reportedly launched from Algeria.
The Red Cross deployed to the port to attend to the migrants.
Another 40 migrants were intercepted in two boats in the Strait of Gibraltar.
Bernabe called the wave of migrants “a coordinated and unacceptable attack on our borders.”
Tens of thousands of refugees and migrants try the crossing each year. Packed into unseaworthy craft, thousands drown in the attempt.

Three German Cities Ban Asylum Status Migrants From Settling
The German region of Lower Saxony has barred migrants with asylum status from settling in three of its cities claiming that they want to prevent problems with integration.
Migrants with asylum status will not be allowed to settle in the cities of Delmenhorst and Wilhelmshaven in the future according to the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior. The two cities join the city of Salzgitter which was the first city to ban the future settlement of asylum status migrants last month Die Welt reports.

Apple Diversity Chief ‘Steps Down’ After Saying White People Can be Diverse — Breitbart
Denise Young Smith, who was named Apple’s vice president of diversity and inclusion in May, is “stepping down” after saying white people can be diverse last month.
During a summit in Colombia, Young Smith, a black woman, claimed she likes to focus “on everyone” and that “diversity goes beyond race, gender, and sexual orientation.”
“There can be 12 white, blue-eyed, blonde men in a room and they’re going to be diverse too because they’re going to bring a different life experience and life perspective to the conversation,” Young Smith declared, sparking controversy. “Diversity is the human experience… I get a little bit frustrated when diversity or the term diversity is tagged to the people of color, or the women, or the LGBT.”
Young Smith later apologized, claiming her comments “were not representative of how I think about diversity or how Apple sees it.”
“For that, I’m sorry,” she proclaimed following the incident. “More importantly, I want to assure you Apple’s view and our dedication to diversity has not changed.”
Young Smith will reportedly leave the company by the end of the year, with Deloitte’s Christie Smith, a white woman, taking over her position.
“We deeply believe that diversity drives innovation,” said an Apple spokesman in a statement. “We’re thrilled to welcome an accomplished leader like Christie Smith to help us continue the progress we’ve made toward a more diverse workplace.”

Diversity is Destroying the Cohesion and Social Capital of Western Nations
The academic world is totally dedicated to the diversification of all White-created nations. The research effort, the collection of data, the preparation of surveys, the proposals for lucrative grants, the long string of mediocre articles and books regularly published, are overwhelmingly biased in favour of mass immigration. It is assumed among all academics that White “homogeneous communities” without a program of diversification are inherently “backward looking”, “reactionary”, “anti-democratic”, devoid of “youth” and “energy”, and out of touch with the “requirements” of the times.
Before 2006 or so, most of the studies on the merits of diversity were not really empirical assessments but theoretical postulations about the value of increasing opportunities for minorities, celebrating multiculturalism, and implementing policies that would improve racial equality. While there were empirical studies on racial inequalities and the effects of such inequalities on community cohesion, there were few studies on immigration-induced diversity. This should not surprise us. Mass immigration only started to gather real momentum in Europe in the early 2000s, and the rising proportion of immigrants in Australia, Canada, and the United States became really noticeable, a subject of much debate in the media, around the same time.
Organized calls for mass immigration from the Third World were coming primarily from business lobbies looking for cheap labour and mass consumers. Academics were happily producing theoretical works on the supposed merits of multiculturalism and willingly supporting mass immigration without much empirical evidence about its supposed benefits or costs. Their support was more a result of their obsession with racial equality, their opposition to Western colonization of Third World peoples, and the increasing identification of whiteness per se with racism.
But soon enough, in the early 2000s, studies started coming out assessing the consequences of diversification. From the beginning, however, these studies tended to be guided by the idea that diversity was a positive goal. No academic was questioning the program itself. Such opposition was deemed to be “bigoted” and “ignorant”, not for the educated, beyond the orbit of research proposals. Empirical studies were framed in such a way that negative findings about immigration were categorized as “challenges” to be overcome with further “integration” proposals and calls for policy initiatives to increase opportunities for immigrants. Negative reactions by White members of the host nation were not allowed to enter into the “empirical data” but were summarily disqualified as indications that the community was “xenophobic”. Only the criticisms of minorities, or conformists on the left, about “lack of affirmative action,” or “lack of integration efforts”, was counted as evidence, not against the program, but as further confirmation of the need to expand the program.

Ideology Shouldn’t Trump Science in Sex Ed Cirricula
Dr. Michelle Cretella, president of the American College of Pediatricians, points out that while children may correctly identify their sex by age 3, they do not understand that sex is permanent. “Children under age 7 may believe that a man actually becomes a woman by putting on makeup and a dress.”
Dr. Cretella emphasizes that when authority figures teach young children that they “can be trapped in the wrong body, they are potentially disrupting their normal cognitive development…[and] will potentially lead to the fear that they aren’t the sex their bodies clearly indicate.”
Dr. Cretella’s warning that teachers and education policymakers could be damaging children with ideologically motivated age-inappropriate sex education curricula and practices is scientifically well founded. Indeed, science favors parents who have been challenging state laws and local school boards over increasingly explicit and graphic sex education curricula.

Nietzsche, Trump, And the Political Left
The German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, warned us back in the 19th century with his famous theme, the “Transvaluation of Values.” An ominous world dictatorship was coming where good would become evil, and evil good. Freedom would be thought of as slavery, and slavery would become freedom.
He “boldly prophesied that power politics and vicious wars were in store for the future. What he sensed was an approaching period of nihilism, the seeds of which had already been sown.”
Ironically, even though Nietzsche warned against this, it was his philosophical thought that helped to usher it all in because he rejected the notion of universal moral law. “Man himself becomes the determiner of values,” he asserted. “[Man] does not require to be approved of; he passes the judgment…he is [the] creator of values.”
Thus the traditional sources of morality that had built Western civilization — Natural Law and the God from which it springs — were rejected vehemently by Nietzsche. And his intellectual progeny in our schools throughout the 20th century have vigorously preached, in their teachings, this moral relativism.
If you wonder why the world is awash in the criminality of statism and why screaming youth saturate the streets throwing rocks and shouting down speakers at their gatherings, here is the reason. The mindless brute has returned to our society because our professors teach “moral relativism” and “political collectivism” (the philosophical underpinnings of the brute) throughout the schools of America.

First, the fellow proposing this should be locked up for sedition.

Regarding the German coalition negotiations – if I were the AFD head, I’d offer to support any minority government that agrees to severely limit immigration. I don’t believe that recycled waste water (containing urine) is usually supplied via our taps (faucets for Americans), or likely to get into bottled supplies, so can anyone tell me how please?
I don’t have a source handy, but I’m pretty sure that current wastewater treatment plants are not configured or largely unable to filter out many chemicals and pharmaceutical substances.
Look up the ubiquitous role of phthalates as plasticizers. Almost all canned foods employ an interior plastic liner. To ensure flexibility and tear-resistance, phthalates are incorporated into these polymer films.
Also known as “endocrine disruptors”, these chemical compounds have been found to be responsible for mutated or dimorphous (i.e., hermaphroditic) genitalia in fish and other aquatic life collected near the discharge points of plants that process or use large quantities of phthalates.
Additionally, growth hormones and other estrogen-mimics are undergoing intense scrutiny for many of these same reasons.
Considering that in the past few decades there has been a global drop in human sperm counts by some 50%, these investigations are long overdue.
According to one account, there also has been an increase in sperm morphology (e.g., deformation) problems to where a male hamster produces more intact and healthy sperm than the average human male.
And before the folks over at Zero Population Growth break out their Champagne, they’d best consider the implications all of this has with respect to birth defects and immunological disorders.
Don’t even get me started about carbon nanotubes, the new asbestos of our time. Their HAR (High Aspect Ratio), which can approach 132,000,000:1, is unequaled by any other material. By comparison, asbestos clocks in with aspect ratios of around 20:1 – 100:1.
You may as well compare cat dander to a hypodermic needle. Towing an ocean liner with a nanotube rope the diameter of a pencil sounds just great, but only if there’s some way of reliably stabilizing these nano-engineered materials.

Carbon nanotubes and graphene may well provide humanity with one of the greatest technological boons ever—namely, the carrier belt for a space elevator.
None of which (in the least) alters a need for exceptional materials safety controls.
