Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/16/2017

Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont gave a murky reply to Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy’s demand that he repudiate any declaration of Catalonian independence. It remains unclear whether Spain will initiate a severe crackdown on the breakaway province, but several Catalan separatist leaders remain in jail, and others may be facing arrest.

In other news, police in Pennsylvania are searching for a man who shot his daughter’s boyfriend in the groin after he (the father) found the couple together in a hotel. The victim is currently recovering from his wound in the hospital.

How the Elite Dominate the World — Part 1: Debt as a Tool of Enslavement

Throughout human history, those in the ruling class have found various ways to force those under them to work for their economic benefit.

But in our day and age, we are willingly enslaving ourselves. The borrower is the servant of the lender, and there has never been more debt in our world than there is right now. According to the Institute of International Finance, global debt has hit the 217 trillion dollar mark, although other estimates would put this number far higher. Of course everyone knows that our planet is drowning in debt, but most people never stop to consider who owns all of this debt. This unprecedented debt bubble represents that greatest transfer of wealth in human history, and those that are being enriched are the extremely wealthy elitists at the very, very top of the food chain.

Did you know that 8 men now have as much wealth as the poorest 3.6 billion people living on the planet combined?

Every year, the gap between the planet’s ultra-wealthy and the poor just becomes greater and greater. This is something that I have written about frequently, and the “financialization” of the global economy is playing a major role in this trend.

Assange Hits Back at ABC, Clinton’s Claims

Julian Assange has hit back at Hillary Clinton after she labelled the WikiLeaks founder a “nihilistic opportunist” on Australian television.

The Australian and WikiLeaks are under investigation by the US Justice Department over the publication of top secret documents and thousands of emails from Democratic National Committee officials that undermined Mrs Clinton’s presidential campaign last year.

Mrs Clinton told ABC TV’s Four Corners program on Monday the material was stolen as part of a concerted operation between Russia, WikiLeaks and people in the US, who she said wanted to “weaponise that information” by denigrating her campaign against Mr Trump.

Behind Trump’s Latest Moves: A Return to Constitutional Government

Do you remember how glum Barak Obama looked after last year’s election? It wasn’t because he liked Hillary Clinton. Instead, he was mourning for the last four years of his administration. He was looking at all his unconstitutional executive orders going down the tube.

Obama kept the Affordable Care Act looking healthy via an extra-constitutional grant of $1 trillion to health-insurance companies. That required congressional approval, and Obama’s decision to bypass Congress was held unconstitutional by a federal court. President Trump’s decision Thursday to halt the bailout makes the litigation moot and represents a return to constitutional government.

The same can be said of Trump’s Friday decision to throw the Iran deal back to Congress, by refusing to certify that Iran is in compliance with the deal…

Father Wanted for Shooting Daughter’s Boyfriend in the Groin

WEST MAHANOY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Pennsylvania father is accused of shooting his daughter’s boyfriend in the groin.

Police said Donald Jenkins, 40, of Shenandoah shot his daughter’s boyfriend when he found the two of them at a hotel near Frackville Sunday afternoon.

Housekeeper, Lisa Mowery, was cleaning the room next door when she heard that gunshot. State police said Jenkins fired that shot, hitting his 20-year-old daughter’s boyfriend in the groin. Investigators said he was upset his daughter was dating her boyfriend. Mowery said she gave the victim towels to help stop the bleeding.

“I was scared, you know, I was scared to death,” Mowery told WNEP. “I just stayed in the room because I didn’t know if he was going to shoot us.”

The crime also shocked community members. They describe the area as quiet.

“If anything happens, they keep it quiet,” Mike McGlade of Frackville said.

The victim is in the hospital recovering as police search for Jenkins. He’s facing a number

Geraldo Rivera’s Trip to Puerto Rico Opened His Eyes About “Wicked” And “Negative” Treatment of Trump by Lying Media and Democrats

Even some of the most dyed-in-the-wool liberals are having a hard time stomaching the visceral hate for Donald Trump and his supporters, that has ravaged the Democrat Party and their allies in the media, like an unchecked cancer.

Geraldo Rivera said his trip to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria confirmed how badly biased the press is against President Trump.

“Having seen how he was treated in Puerto Rico and then seeing the press about how he was treated in Puerto Rico it was almost an absolute 100 percent disconnect,” the Fox News contributor told “Fox & Friends” on Saturday.

Rivera visited Puerto Rico and interviewed the president and first lady as they surveyed storm relief efforts in the devastated country.

He remembered crowds who were “ebullient” about the president’s visit.

The federal government’s response to Hurricane Maria has been far better than it is given credit for, he continued.

“This president has the worst relationship not only with the press but with those on the other side of the aisle that I have seen since Richard Nixon,” Rivera said.

This wasn’t the first time Geraldo Rivera exposed the lies and mischaracterizations of Trump and his actions. Watch Geraldo tell Fox and Friends about Trump’s actual handling of the Puerto Rican crisis versus the media’s false narrative:

Hillary Clinton Could Run Again for President and Wants to Stop Brexit, Says Farage

The former UKIP leader claimed that Clinton hates Brexit because she sees the European Union as a prototype for a global government.

Mr Farage said: “Hillary sees the European Union as a prototype for a bigger form of global government, so she hates Brexit, she hates me and she thinks I gave Trump the edge.”

The Brexit architect’s attack on the failed Democratic candidate comes after she accused him of lying to voters in the Brexit campaign and helping Donald Trump defeat her in the US election.

Kimmel Says Driving Away Republican Viewers ‘Not Ideal’ — But He’d Do it Again ‘In a Heartbeat’

Late shows used to be about access to the worlds of movies, comedy, and music — — at a time when there were very few daily sources for such information. These days, if you’re a fan of pop culture, online outlets have demolished the need for couch interviews. It’s an archaic format that serves no purpose in a world where the internet delivers a constant stream of insightful, highly-focused, entertainment news. …And that stream is running 24/7 so, by the time a late show tapes, the topics are at least a day out of date.

Knowing all of that, I’m kind of baffled as to why people are putting so much stock in the political musings of Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, or Jimmy Kimmel. They’re comedians who exist to fluff the egos of movie stars and serve up promotional material for studios or record labels. Nothing more.

Yet, for some reason, they’re being portrayed as “the conscience of the nation.”

LOL! George Lopez Booed Off Stage at Children’s Diabetes Charity After Audience Rejects His Anti-Trump Jokes

George Lopez was hired to be the emcee for the Children’s Diabetes Foundation’s Carousel Ball. Lopez thought it would be a good idea to turn what should have been an event to help sick children into an opportunity to express his hate for President Trump and his supporters. Bad idea…

Comic George Lopez was booed off stage at a gala for juvenile diabetes in Denver last week, over an anti-Donald Trump routine that fell flat with the crowd.

We’re told the flap began when Trump backer and Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei donated $250,000 but requested that Lopez cool it with the anti-Trump jokes at the Carousel Ball.

An attendee at the event — where tables sold from $5,000 to $100,000 to benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes — commented on a YouTube video that “George was asked nicely to stop making Trump jokes by a man in front row [Maffei] who just donated $250K.” But “George doesn’t, continues. Gets booed.”

We’re told that Lopez responded to Maffei, “Thank you for changing my opinion on old white men, but it doesn’t change the way I feel about orange men.”

Trying to recover and sensing the audience turn, Lopez said, “Listen, it’s about the kids . . . I apologize for bringing politics to an event. This is America — it still is. So I apologize to your white privilege.”

We’re told Lopez also told a joke about Trump’s proposed border wall with Mexico, saying, “I guess you can get some Mexicans to do it cheaper and they wouldn’t crush the tunnels underneath.”

When the audience did not respond well, he quipped, “Are you El Chapo people?” in reference to the drug kingpin who has used tunnels to evade authorities.

Lopez then announced a video segment — but he did not return to the stage, and a local newscaster took over the hosting duties.

North Dakota Officials Seek to Dupe Citizens on Common Core

Apparently, North Dakota’s education establishment thinks North Dakotans and their legislators are stupid, gullible, or both. But in fairness, they are not alone — state and federal officials all over America have been trying to dupe those they misrule into believing the toxic “Common Core” scheme was history. It’s not. In fact, it is as firmly entrenched as ever.

Facing a grassroots uprising over the dumbed-down national “education” standards pushed on to states by bribes and bullying from the Obama administration, North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and their cohorts simply decided to re-brand the scheme. Now, instead of “Common Core,” the state has adopted “new” “North Dakota” standards. Unfortunately, though, they are essentially indistinguishable.

Singer Kaya Jones Targets Hollywood Sex Abusers: “I Kept a Journal… With Timelines… There’s More Than One Name”

Well known singer and former band member of the Pussycat Dolls Kaya Jones may be preparing an all-out war on Hollywood movie and music executives.

As Hollywood’s elite meet to distance themselves from Harvey Weinstein sexual allegations and further cover-up other improprieties engaged in by their philandering members, Jones took to Twitter to explain that she has repeatedly spoken about the abuse she and her band mates had to endure while rising to the top of the music food chain, only to be completely ignored and threatened.

According to Jones, the Pussycat Dolls were nothing more than a high-end prostitution ring, as they were forced to sell their souls and bodies to power brokers in the entertainment industry. And now, as the Harvey Wiestein scandal is beginning to explode into accusations by even more Hollywood women against the men who forced them to make choices between their morals and their careers, Jones says she has details of predatory sexual behavior and abuse, including names and timelines, that she logged in a personal journal.

Taking to Twitter in a stream of messages, Jones says that she understands that she is targeting the very top of the entertainment industry and that she has prepared a document that has been stashed with a close confidante in case she ends up dead.

The Obama EPA’s Crooked Prosecutors

Suppose a crooked prosecutor framed someone and was determined to get a conviction. So he built an entire case on tainted, circumstantial evidence, and testimony from witnesses who had their reasons for wanting the guy in jail. Suppose the prosecutor ignored or hid exculpatory evidence and colluded with the judge to prevent the defendant from presenting a robust defense or cross-examining adverse witnesses.

You know what would happen-at least in a fair and just society. The victim would be exonerated and compensated. The prosecutor and judge would be disbarred, fined and jailed.

EPA’s egregious misconduct inflicted significant harm on our nation

What you may not know is that the Obama EPA engaged in similar prosecutorial misconduct to convict fossil fuels of causing climate chaos and endangering the health and wellbeing of Americans.

Trump Shuts Out the NFL

When President Donald Trump squared off against NFL players protesting the national anthem, he showed that American conservatives still have the numbers to defeat left-wing social justice crusades. The key to victory is having confidence in those numbers, choosing battles wisely, and refusing to retreat an inch once the battle has begun.

After siding with the players who knelt during the National Anthem on Sunday, September 24, NFL leadership has now practically conceded defeat. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sent a letter on October 10 to the executives of all 32 NFL teams, stating, “Like many of our fans, we believe that everyone should stand for the National Anthem.” The NFL owners will meet soon in New York to discuss whether to make standing for the anthem mandatory.

At an owners’ meeting after September 24, Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder chided fellow executives for supporting the protests, warning they will end up hurting the League’s bottom line. He drove home the point that a $40 million sponsor was seriously considering pulling out.

Catalan Independence Movement Furious After Spain Jails Two Leaders for Possible Sedition

Political prisoners in Europe used to be a thing of the past; as of Monday afternoon, Spain has two.

Spanish judge Carmen Lamela has ruled that the leaders of the two biggest grassroots pro-independence associations in Catalonia should remain in prison without bail on possible charges of sedition for which, if convicted, they could face prison sentences of up to 10 years.

The legal investigation claims Jordi Sanchez, the leader of Catalan National Assembly (ANC) movement, and Jordi Cuixart, who heads the Omnium Cultural association, were heavily involved in organising the massive protest aimed at hindering a Guardia Civil investigation in Barcelona into the build-up for the 1 October illegal referendum. Specifically, members of the Guardia Civil were trapped in Catalan government offices on 20 September as a result of thousands of protestors encircling the building, in what has been described as a “siege” and during which three police vehicles were destroyed.

Catalan Leader Defies Spain, Sends Evasive Reply to Rajoy Activating Second Ultimatum Deadline

The Catalan stand-off has been extended until Thursday as both sides hold their ground.

After days of expectation and talks with his separatist allies, Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont stood by his decision to keep his region’s declaration of independence from Spain “in suspension” despite a demand for clarity from Spain prime minister Rajoy, effectively challenging the central government to follow through on promises to forcibly take control of the region by sending an evasive reply to the central government’s Article 155 notification, which on Wednesday began the process of suspending home rule in the region.

The Spanish Prime Minister’s office was seeking a simple “yes” or “no” reply by 10 a.m. on Monday on the question of whether Mr. Puigdemont had or had not declared independence last Tuesday. Anything other than “no”, the First Minister was warned, would lead to the activation of the so-called faced the use of Article 155 of the Spanish constitution. This article is the so-called “nuclear option” which allows Madrid to dissolve the regional government and call fresh regional elections. The central government can also take over the local police force and television channels.

Eventually, Puigdemont chose more obfuscation and defiance: his four-page reply, obtained by Catalan radio stations Catalunya Radio and RAC1 and released by The Spain Report, neither confirmed nor denied he had proclaimed a new Catalan republic last week, but said the declaration remained “in suspension” and proposed two months of dialogue arguing that the Spanish people and Europe will only understand “dialogue, negotiation and agreement.” He did not say what he would do if talks did not take place by the middle of December.

Italy: Bertone’s Penthouse: Former Manager of the Bambin Gesù Convicted

One year to Giuseppe Profiti, acquitted instead Massimo Spina

The Vatican trial for the renovation of Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone’ apartment paid by Giuseppe Profiti with money coming from the Fondazione Bambin Gesù ended with an unexpected last-minute change of charge, from the initial embezzlement to abuse of office: a one-year suspended sentence for Bertone’s manager and full acquittal of the second accused, Massimo Spina, former treasurer of the Foundation. In short, “the mountain gave birth to a mouse” and the requests of the Promoter of Justice — the Vatican MD — who had asked for three years for Profiti on charges of peculation were not accepted.

It almost seems as if the court did not feel to acquit also the former manager of the Bambin Gesù and thus charged him with the “bare minimum” sentence. “I have complete confidence in the judiciary, as always — Profiti said on the telephone with La Stampa — we will appeal and wait to know which Vatican law would have been violated by the abuse of office”…

Tundra Tabloids: Analysis of Recent Austrian Election Results

by Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff

The elections are over but the real battle has begun. I will try to write a short analysis of what happened because there is much more than meets the eye. It is by far not certain that Kurz will be chancellor. I would, however, bet that the FPÖ will be part of the next government. Moreover, FPÖ will hopefully remain third. Why? Because they will be in the best position in coalition talks, they have more options.

Kurz is not in a very favorable position, his options are limited to a coalition government with FPÖ. If FPÖ gets a better deal from the socialists, then Kurz is history. We must also remember there is a lot of distrust between FPÖ and ÖVP. A LOT. Do not assume that Kurz is chancellor already, he won, but not as much as hoped for, and in any case, we won’t know the final tally until Thursday.

Also, there’s trouble in trusting someone as young as Kurz in this. There is bound to be some kind of international pressure behind the scenes, too. He (Kurz) is a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations, just Google the members”! It’s a Soros outfit!!!! He refuses to discuss this membership, plus— all of the ÖVP MEPs recently voted in favor of an abortion law passed in EU parliament. Some conservative party, huh? Also, Sebastian Kurz is not a good option for free speech proponents: he wants to tighten free speech laws, it’s written into the party platform. Another reason is the failed Law on Islam, he knew the law was crap but went ahead anyway. The law was passed and now it’s officially been termed a disaster.

It is unlikely however, that Kurz will opt for an ÖVP-SPÖ coalition since he ran on a “change” ticket. The current coalition government was voted out of office very clearly and strongly. This means means that Kurz’ options are two-fold: either he marries FPÖ at a very high price or he goes into opposition. That would be the end of Kurz but I’m not sure about the Greens yet, we won’t know for certain until Thursday, but they’re gone in any case.

Also, if you count in the The New Austria and Liberal Forum (NEOS), as conservative (which I personally disagree with), then you have Austria leaning 60% to the right. They are somewhat conservative on the economics and business side, but VERY liberal socially, staunchly pro-EU. They are calling for a United States of Europe. They are not our friends.

The brutal Jihadist murder of Coptic priest Monsignor Samaan on a busy Cairo street has so far elicited no response from Egypt’s government.

In an act of jihad by a Cairo Muslim named Ahmed Saayed Al Sunbaty, wielding a sword in the streets of Al Marg in Egypt’s capital city in broad daylight, two Orthodox priests, Father Beeman Muftah and Monsignor Samaan, became the targets of a brutal terrorist murderer. On Thursday, October 12, the two priests were visiting Cairo to raise funds for the poor villagers of Bani Sweef (Al Minya). They departed from a store (a construction steel seller) and returned to their car when the Monsignor realized he forgot his cell phone in the store. Father Beeman asked their driver, Gerges Kamel, to accompany the Monsignor on his return to the store in order to retrieve it.

Mr. Kamel gave the following firsthand account: “There was water in the street dividing us. I followed him separated by water, and suddenly I saw a man carrying a sword begin to follow Monsignor Samaan who began running toward the store. At the store entrance, the attacker reached the Monsignor and stabbed him in his side. Monsignor fell to the ground. At that point, the killer stabbed him again in the neck, slaughtering him. The murderer then hit him in the skull and then carved a cross with the same tool into Monsignor Samaan’s forehead.”

A Slow Death for the Iran Deal

by John R. Bolton

As Abba Eban observed, “Men and nations behave wisely when they have exhausted all other resources.” So it goes with America and the Iran deal. President Trump announced Friday that the U.S. would stay in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), even while he refused to certify under U.S. law that the deal is in the national interest. “Decertification,” a bright, shiny object for many, obscures the real issue — whether the agreement should survive. Mr. Trump has “scotch’d the snake, not kill’d it.”

Saudi Arabia Still Promoting “Violent and Intolerant Teachings” In Schoolbooks

[…] At a very early stage, the fourth grade, the curriculum begins to teach Saudi children that Muslims are essentially different but superior to all non-Muslims.

In a fourth-grade second semester Monotheism textbook, Saudi students learn that polytheists, “the worst creatures” according to the Quran (98:6), are condemned to Hell. …

In May this year, US and Saudi leaders announced the establishment of the Riyadh-based Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology as part of a joint effort to eradicate both rogue and state-sponsored terrorism wherever it originates and occurs. As a long-standing ally of the United States, Saudi Arabia is receiving money and a warm embrace from Washington to participate in this effort. Yet the Saudis continue to spread their Wahhabist ideology in mosques and schools around the world. As Brookings Institution senior fellow William McCants told the New York Times in August 2016, the Saudis “are both the arsonists and the firefighters. They promote a very toxic form of Islam that draws sharp lines between a small number of true believers and everyone else, Muslim and non-Muslim” — which spur jihadists to take action — yet they are “our partners in counterterrorism.”

The Courage of the Syrian Arab Army and Allies Against US Backed Terrorism

The announcement by the Russian Ministry of Defence that US support for terrorists is a major obstacle to the elimination of the terrorist organisation in Syria is not a simple or transitory declaration. It is an important and dangerous declaration that must be carefully looked at.

“ The successes of the Syrian army with the support of the Russian space air force in the rapid liberation of the Euphrates valley seem to contradict the plans of American colleagues,” Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Igor Konashinkov said, noting that US forces did not allow the Syrian army to pursue terrorists in the al-Tanf area.

It is understood, of course, that Russia does not want to initiate a conflict with the United States and to start a third world war, but such declarations and statements by the Russian Ministry of Defence, even if they are uttered in such de-escalatory terms such as “ American colleagues,” represent a clear and explicit link between ISIS and US plans in both Syria and Iraq. This at the international level undermines the credibility of the United States, and undermines the impact of any American statements bragging about the fight against terrorism. Especially as Russian forces announced that the ISIS offensive relied on aerial reconnaissance that cannot be attained by the group unless provided by American reconnaissance planes.

“ We support the comprehensive approach to combating terrorism, preventing the spread of terrorist ideology and funding illegal armed groups, and we call for a political renunciation of double standards in addressing the most serious threats of our time,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin in a welcoming message to participants at the International Meeting of Heads of Security Services.

“Double standards” have become synonymous with the United States, and the rise of Russia in the international system today is putting the final nail in the coffin of American unilateralism. This is what Russia’ s policy depends on in its cumulative strategy, building on the shortcomings of the other, pointing to them and re-mentioning them whenever possible. While at the same time behaving differently from them, adhering to principles, values and norms in international relations.

But the biggest victim of the US sponsoring of ISIS in recent years is Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. Therefore, in addition to what the Russians are doing to draw the attention of the world to the sure link between ISIS and the United States, it is necessary to re-read all the unfolding events in Arab countries in the past seven years in light of these facts, which revealed certain close ties between ISIS, the United States, and the objectives that the Americans and Israelis hope to achieve in our countries.

WeChat Confirms: It Shares Just About All Private Data With the Chinese Regime

WeChat now warns users in a privacy statement about how much of their private data the company shares with the Chinese regime. To no one’s surprise, it’s just about everything users type into the app.

Developed by the Chinese internet company Tencent, WeChat is China’s equivalent of WhatsApp and is used by 662 million mobile users, which makes it the dominant messaging app in China and one of the largest in the world. …

WeChat certainly got an assist from the Chinese regime when it started a partial blocking of WhatsApp in July. The blocking of WhatsApp eliminated one of the few remaining messaging apps available for users in China that was not controlled by the authoritarian regime.

The Chinese regime also recently announced on Sept. 7 a new regulation mandating that the participants of WeChat message groups be responsible for managing the information posted in their respective groups. Essentially, this means that a user in a message group could be held liable and even persecuted for information that others post in the group.

It has long been noted that WeChat is among the most heavily censored messaging apps. A 2016 survey done by Amnesty International that ranks the world’s most popular messaging apps in terms of privacy protection for users gave WeChat a score of 0 out of 100, meaning that users of WeChat receive little or no encryption protection for their communications and the app is completely exposed to censorship and surveillance by the Chinese regime.

Epidemic of South African Farm Murders Continues as Gunmen Shoot Elderly Victim Dead

White South Africans question their future amid a rise in horrific murders

Another South African farmer has been reported killed after three gunmen attacked his homestead — part of a sustained campaign of violence across the country.

The alleged attack took place in Potchefstroom in the North West province, according to Times Live. The elderly victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from the private ambulance company ER24.

OFM, a radio station based in Central South Africa, put the farmer’s age at 69, and quoted police spokeswoman Pelonomi Makau as saying the killers were driven off by his son following a high-stakes altercation:

“They saw three suspects hiding at a fence who shot at the farm owner,” she said. “He died at the scene and the son managed to fight back the suspects. He managed to confiscate a firearm, knife and cell phone from the suspects. They then fled the scene.”

The killing is just the latest in a series of murders which the government has been accused of encouraging, and which have made farming in South Africa the most deadly occupation in the world.

Asylum System Being ‘Gamed, ‘ Says AG Sessions

FALLS CHURCH, Va.—Attorney General Jeff Sessions said America’s asylum system is riddled with problems, and human smugglers have, for years, been instructing illegal immigrants on how to apply for asylum.

“The credible fear process was intended to be a lifeline for persons facing serious persecution,” Sessions said at the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) building in Virginia on Oct. 12.

“But it has become an easy ticket to illegal entry into the United States.”

It’s as simple as crossing the border illegally; once apprehended by immigration agents, the individual claims they have “credible fear” of returning to their home country.

Macron: Severe Immigrant Measures Needed

Illegal immigrants that commit crimes should be expelled from France, President Emmanuel Macron said in a Sunday interview.

An undocumented Tunisian man that stabbed two women to death in the city of Marseille earlier this month had been arrested for shoplifting two days before the attack. His release revealed “serious faults” in the handling of undocumented migrants, according to France’s inspectorate general, and Macron wants to take “severe measures” to prevent it from happening again.

“We will take the most severe measures, we will do what we must do,” Macron said in a televised interview, according to AFP.

Pope Francis: ‘Wars and Climate Change’ Are Root Causes of World Hunger and Migration

Pope Francis addressed the FAO Monday on the question of world hunger, proposing that wars and climate change must be overcome in order to properly address the crisis of world hunger and immigration.

“The relationship between hunger and migrations can only be addressed if we go to the root of the problem,” the Pope said at the headquarters of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) in Rome. “In this regard, studies conducted by the United Nations, like many others conducted by civil organizations, agree that there are two major obstacles that must be overcome: conflicts and climate change.”

Alt-Left Insanity: Gender Fluidity and the ‘Oppressive Shadow of Marriage’

Marriage has been a particular target of the left for many years

One of the reasons we call liberals the alt-left is their opposition to anything traditional or normal — like free speech, patriotism or marriage.

Marriage has been a particular target of the left for many years. Forget the campaign for gay marriage. The left hates the institution, but it’s easier to wreck it from within than without. As The Establishment puts it, “marriage sits at the red-hot heart of our, ahem, white supremacist, capitalist patriarchy.”

Stop laughing. They actually believe this garbage. Katie Tandy, the co-founding editor (or is that confounding editor?), delivered this unique take on weddings: “What Does Marriage Mean When You’re Gender-Fluid (And Loathe The Patriarchy)?” Apparently, that it means you need serious help was not one of the multiple choice answers.

British Police Force Uses ‘Positive Action’ To Ban White Men From Recruitment Workshops

The British Transport Police are disadvantaging white, male applicants by excluding them from recruitment workshops.

The force is holding the workshops in London, Manchester, and Birmingham — but one would-be officer was turned away after being told they were for “women and black or ethnic minority” candidates only, reports The Metro.

“I am a white heterosexual male and also a member of the armed forces, how can a public service blatantly support this kind of discrimination and inequality in 2017?” he told the newspaper.

“I am going to withdraw my application due to having been treated in such a manner.”

Metro’s correspondent Harley Tamplin seemed incredulous that the veteran was upset at being discriminated against on the basis of his race and sex, describing him as having criticised the police force “for wanting to employ more women and people from ethnic minorities — yes, seriously”.

Nestlé Removes Christian Cross From Greek Yogurt Packaging

In eliminating the cross, Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company, has mimicked the choice of supermarket giant Lidl for its similar packaging

Joining a growing trend in Europe to abolish Christian imagery to avoid offending other “sensibilities,” Nestlé has removed the image of a Christian cross from its Greek yogurt packaging featuring an Orthodox church on the island of Santorini.

Whereas in real life the blue dome of the iconic Anastasis church is surmounted by a white cross, the image of the church used for publicity has been photo-shopped to remove the offending Christian symbol.

In eliminating the cross, Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company, has mimicked the choice of supermarket giant Lidl for its similar packaging. To justify its decision, Lidl said they were expunging the cross so as “not to hurt sensibility of other religions.”

The doctored images of the church were used for the packaging of Lidl’s Eridanous brand Greek-style yogurt — an in-house label which also includes a range of feta cheese, moussaka, and pistachio products.

Thomas the Tank Engine to Become Gender-Balanced With More Female Trains, An African Character and Episodes Abroad

An overhaul of Thomas the Tank Engine will see two male engines turfed out to make way for female characters.

Henry and Edward will be moving out of Tidmouth Sheds to make way for Nia, an orange engine from Africa, and Rebecca, a yellow-coloured engine.

They will join Emily, the other female engine, as well as the boys Thomas, Percy James and Gordon.

And the tradition of Liverpudlian narration — which first began with Ringo Starr — will disappear, as well as the theme tune with its roll-call of engine names.

But the most dramatic change will be Thomas leaving his home on the Island of Sodar as he embarks on adventures across the globe.

Mattel, the US toy giant that owns rights to the much-loved show, collaborated with the United Nations to help meet the organisation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

[Comment: Perhaps the premier episode of the revamp will have Thomas transporting “refugees” to England.]

Almost All Wi-Fi Connections Could be at Risk: Researchers Find Weakness in WPA2

“Adversaries can use this attack to decrypt packets sent by clients, allowing them to intercept sensitive information such as passwords or cookies,” he wrote. “The attack works against all modern protected Wi-Fi networks.”

While Android, Linux, Apple, Windows, and other operating systems and devices are vulnerable, Vanhoef says Linux and Android 6.0 or higher are the most vulnerable because they can be tricked into installing or re-installing an all-zero encryption key.

Using what Vanheuf calls a Key Reinstallation AttaCKs (KRACKs), he showed how someone could get data from an Android device by tricking the user into installing an old key.

“Essentially, to guarantee security, a key should only be installed and used once,” Vanheuf writes, “Unfortunately, we found this is not guaranteed by the WPA2 protocol.”

  1. Hahaha, I have a feeling Hillary is done running anywhere, for anything. But heck, I sure hope she tries in 2020, that would be a shoo-in for any opponent the other side can muster!

  2. “Thomas the Tank Engine to Become Gender-Balanced With More Female Trains, An African Character and Episodes Abroad

    Foot. Themselves, Shot in, here:

‘Nia, an orange engine from Africa…’ Ahh, Railway Engineering! Beautiful, Mattel! – a sublime recognition of white supremacist inventiveness, industriousness and skill indeed.

Where would Africa be without it?

    Thanks, again, Mattel 😎😎😎

  3. Hillary angry the corruptions of the DNC were revealed and “weaponized” against her?
Al Capone would say the same about the IRS.

Meanwhile, the pope is correct that wars started by our last 4 presidents have caused misery and massive migrations from the countries (some broken for generations) that the USA attacked in collusion with the Brits and the UN.

And, yes, the Left always attacks marriage, white men, and Christianity…successfully.

    • Good point about Capone!

I think conservatives need to start talking more about the abuses America has inflicted on the world. It’s a can of worms, however, because the lefties talk about nothing else, and see no good.

Still, good news about NFL ratings, no? And some patriot flying a plane in Florida, flying a banner about boycotting NFL…

  4. The British Transport Police are disadvantaging white, male applicants by excluding them from recruitment workshops.
Next – military recruitments. A way to utilise the hundreds of thousands of African men flooding into Europe. Train them and arm them so you don’t have a force full of white men who may refuse to fire upon their own people.

  5. Soros just gifted $18 billion to build a Death Star….I mean $18 billion to his OSF organization.

RFI has posted a clip about the first female imam opening the first feminist mosque in Denmark…not a very interesting clip, all they show is a dead woman posing in her excessively fancy hijab.
