Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/22/2017

During a press conference held by Mayor Betsy “Hijab Girl” Hodges in Minneapolis, angry protesters cut the mayor off and demanded that she resign, forcing her to leave the event. The protesters were upset at the mayor’s handling of last weekend’s shooting death of an unarmed woman by a Somali police officer.

In other news, in order to cut down the number of groping and molestation incidents perpetrated by migrants at public swimming pools, the Austrian town of Perchtoldsdorf has posted signs using pictograms telling the “New Austrians” that they must not enter the women’s changing rooms or touch female bathers.

American Soldier Charged With Trying to Pass Classified Military Documents to ISIS

An American soldier has been charged with attempting to provide material support and military secrets to Isis.

Ikaika Erik Kang, a sergeant military air traffic controller, is accused of trying to pass military documents classified as “secret”, a small drone and training to people he believed were Isis supporters but were actually undercover FBI agents.

He is also said to have sworn allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the founder and self-declared leader of Isis.

The Left is Already Preparing Tomorrow’s Fake News

A reader strolling down the street in Chicago spotted a recruiting poster for “Activist Jobs,” a bit of an oxymoron. “Activism” by implication is volunteer work undertaken because the goal sought by the acts in question is so important to the “activist.” Goal-oriented acts that are compensated are called “work,” not “activism.” But in the photograph below, the two different categories of endeavor are conflated:…

The confusion is deliberate and speaks to a larger strategy of the Left, also based on deception.

Witness to Minneapolis Shooting Comes Forward; Police Chief Asked to Resign

MINNEAPOLIS — State investigators say they’ve interviewed a witness who was near the alley where a Minneapolis police officer shot and killed an unarmed Australian woman last weekend.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said in a news release Friday that the person was bicycling nearby just before the shooting and stopped and watched officers perform CPR on Justine Damond late on July 15.

The Star Tribune reports that an unnamed source with direct knowledge of the investigation said the witness filmed part of the encounter. It doesn’t say whether that includes the actual shooting or only the aftermath.

France’s Far-Right National Front Keeps Policy to Exit Euro

France’s far-right National Front (FN) said Saturday it would maintain its goal of seeing the nation out of the euro common currency, despite urging by some in the party to ditch the stance as a vote-loser.

The decision came after a two-day, closed-door meeting at the group’s headquarters west of Paris, to learn the lessons of May’s presidential election that saw its candidate Marine Le Pen lose by double digits.

But while the policy position remains, a statement said it had been pushed back to the end of the five-year term of any future FN government, in what appeared to be a concession to critics.

Italy: Mafia Infiltration in Rome Exists — Zingaretti

Lazio governor comments on Capital Mafia rulings

(see related) (ANSA) — Rome, July 21 — Lazio Governor Nicola Zingaretti said Friday the fact that the charge of mafia association was scrubbed in the rulings for the Capital Mafia case does not mean organized crime is not a problem for the capital. “We must avoid the risk of creating great confusion,” Zingaretti said. “There is a ruling in a trial regarding a probe into an association and we know the outcome. But this cannot be used now to say that there are no problems or mafia infiltration in Rome. The infiltrations exits, they have been reported and are known about”.

Malloch: The Tragedy of the European Family

Emmanuel Macron, the newly elected French president, has no children; German chancellor Angela Merkel has no children.

British prime minister, Theresa May has no children; Italian prime minister Paolo Gentiloni has no children; Holland’s, prime minister, Mark Rutte, Sweden’s Stefan Löfven, Luxembourg’s Xavier Bettel, and Scotland’s, first minster, Nicola Sturgeon — all have no children.

The list goes on…Latvia’s childless president is Raimonds Vejonis, Lithuania’s childless president is Dalia Grybauskaite and Romania’s childless president is Klaus Werner Iohannis. And, Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission too, has no children and is family-less.

So to put it rather bluntly: a grossly disproportionate number of the people making serious decisions about Europe’s future have no direct personal sibling, child or grandchildren’s interests at stake in that future.

Slovenia Announces to Sue EC Over ‘Teran’

Derogation to use name of vine granted to Croatia

(ANSA) — LUBIANA — Slovenia’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Dejan Zidan announced that he will sue the European Commission over the decision to grant Croatia a derogation to use of the name ‘Teran’. The act will come into force on Wednesday and will allow to use the name of the vine variety exclusively for Croatian wine “Hrvatska Istra” (Croatian Istria). This decision was made by Brussels since the two countries did not find any agreement on the name Teran, wine protected designation of origin registered by Slovenia but also requested by Croatian producers. The decision can be rejected by the majority of the European Parliament or by a super-qualified majority of members, that is 72% of the MPs representing at least 65% of the population.

UK: Gang Member Says Using ‘Face Melter’ Chemicals in Muggings is a ‘Win-Win’ Because They’re Cheap, Easily Available and Not Illegal to Own

[WARNING: Graphic photos.]

The bottle contained a common domestic drain cleaner bought for a few pounds at a hardware store.

The main ingredient was sulphuric acid. His victim suffered third-degree burns and had to undergo numerous skin grafts.

Acid — dispensed in squeezable bottles — was a weapon of choice for Off and his now former compatriots.

It is something that should concern us all, because they are far from the only gang using the substance to maim and destroy lives.

Nor is the barbaric trend confined solely to gang-on-gang violence. Disfiguring, corrosive substances are being used indiscriminately against members of the public in muggings and carjackings…

Over the past few months, there has been a dramatic escalation of such attacks, with the reasons not hard to fathom. Caustic fluids are cheap and easily available on the High Street.

They work quickly and can be thrown from a distance. Just carrying a gun or a knife is a criminal offence, but — shockingly — there is no penalty if you are caught in possession of acid-based chemicals.

‘It is a win-win situation,’ acknowledges Off. Meanwhile, some perpetrators are employing another new tactic to thwart police: squirting acid at intended ‘targets’ from mopeds.

Islam’s Bizarre Philosophical Problem

When attacking an epistemological structure, it is a often a waste of time to attack the consequences of a belief system when one can cut it down at the root. Islam has such a bizarre problem. And Muslims avoid it, for fear it would cause the whole religion to collapse.

Islam, like Judaism, is monadic. It only admits of a hard absolutely unitary deity.

However, Islam makes an amazing contradictory statement: the Koran is eternal.

This introduces a real problem. Anything which is eternal is, by definition, deity. And that strikes at the very core of Islam’s claim to a hard monotheism.

[T]he Noble Quran, as is, is forever Preserved by Allah Almighty, and therefore Its Holy Words are Eternal. — Answering Christianity, an Islamic site.

This… sums up the doctrine of the massive majority of the Muslims, namely the People of the Sunna and the Congregation, concerning the pre-existent, pre-eternal, beginningless, and uncreated nature of the Divine Speech Allah Most High has named al-Qur’an — Sunnah.org

Here is their disaster. If the Koran is uncreated, the Koran is a deity. Think about it. But if the Koran is God, and Allah is God, the Islamic doctrine of hard monadic monotheism falls apart.

This is no mere sleight of hand. A few early Muslims noted the inconsistency and met an unhappy fate for bringing it up.

  1. The appearance by Dawkins had been scheduled for Aug. 9 at the First Congregational Church of Berkeley.

Here in a nutshell we have the raison d’etre of the post-modern world. Gloating over the near death of Christianity is why Dawkins was invited – to speak as an atheist in a Christian church, and also why he was refused. Because we all know that although the church is already weakened, the very tool the Post-Modern Left has employed for its final deathblow is Islam itself!

So a traitor to the Western Judeo-Christian tradition is no longer essential. What is really needed is brute force now – ie Islam. In fact the good thing about Islam is that it can also get rid of the Jews as a proxy for Western antisemitism, enabling us to wallow in our sham guilt and pretended remorse!

  2. President Donald Trump’s new communications director Anthony Scaramucci once tweeted that trying to “fight globalization is counterproductive.”

Of course it is! It’s trying to swim against a tsunami, but that doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be attempted. Globalism is here whether we like it or not. All we can do is try to temper some of its abuses, but as the main abuse will be the global monopolization of power, we have a difficult task. We will have to use the nation state (Trump’s strategy) to rein in monopolies and play one giant off against the other.

Remember the story of the Brave Little Tailor and take heart.

  3. “At a time when the President of the USA has policies that many in our country disagree with, I am not sure it is appropriate for our government to roll out the red carpet.” — says Sadiq Khan, the Muslim Mayor of London about the US President making an official visit to Britain.

Well, that ludicrous argument should put a stop to just about every official visitor in the Universe, including the Lord High Representative of the Galaxy, the Pope and certainly any Muslim, particularly the Mayor himself. Jesus Christ coming again – even if he brought his Dad with him – would be greeted in London by a sixteen-year-old Fourth Assistant Deputy Under-Typist on a dog-turd-strewn pavement in the pissing rain, and told to walk to his digs under the Waterloo Bridge arches. Assuming he hadn’t been banned from Britain for not being a Muslim, which will probably be a hate crime in itself by then.

What a typically fatuous and unctuous comment from a particularly fatuous and unctuous little idiot. He represents the real danger of Islam – the bloc Muslim vote putting such nasty, brainwashed Islamic morons in positions of power.
