Mujahideen for the Islamic State are being given “protected identities” when they return from the jihad in Syria. In other news, according to statistics compiled by Breitbart, more than 1,620 people were killed in Islamic terrorist attacks during the holy, holy, holy month of Ramadan.

ECB Warning: EU on Brink of Being Ripped Apart as Greece, Spain, Portugal Inequality Grows

INEQUALITY is spreading throughout the European Union in a worrying trend which is destabilising the bloc, it has been warned.

European Central Bank President Mario Draghi urged Brussels to rapidly work on failings such as the widening gap between rich and poor.

According to Mr Draghi income inequality has grown among eurozone countries since the financial crisis.

The divide created has caused huge tensions between those in the 19-member currency bloc.

Just a few countries have been able to shrink income inequality buck the trend, while elsewhere, it has risen.

The highest levels of income inequality have been registered in Greece, Spain and Portugal, as well as France and Italy.

Many College Students Are ‘Book Virgins’

(c) IntellectualTakeout.org

To gain admittance to college in the 17th century, students had to be able to read and translate various Latin authors on sight. 100 years ago, students were required to have read various classical works before being admitted.

Today, however, many American students are being admitted to colleges without ever having read a book from start to finish. They are part of a cohort of students known as “book virgins.”

The National Association of Scholars (NAS) has pointed out this phenomenon in their recent report titled “Beach Books: 2014-2016. What Do Colleges and Universities Want Students to Read Outside Class?” The report offers a detailed assessment of the books that colleges across America recommend to their students before they begin classes in the fall.

The reading level of these books is oftentimes very low, meant to cater to the group of students who are “book virgins”.

North Carolina Man Who Plotted Attack for ISIS is Sentenced

A North Carolina man who plotted with the Islamic State to kill 1,000 people in the U.S., according to federal investigators, was sentenced Tuesday to spend the rest of his life in prison.

Justin Sullivan, 21, was arrested last June for plotting to kill people at a concert or other large venue in Charlotte with an assault rifle that he was planning to buy at a gun show. Authorities arrested Sullivan the day before the gun show.

Obamas Under Fire From the Left for Never Ending, Sizzling Ultra-Luxury Vacations

The Democratic base is growing increasingly frustrated with former President Barack Obama’s actions after leaving office, including a seemingly endless tour of millionaire and billionaire luxury retreats, according to Democrats and activists contacted by Fox News.

Ex-presidents, understandably and un-controversially, go on vacations immediately after leaving office. But the level of luxury the Obamas enjoy on their vacations is unprecedented for a modern-day president, say travel experts.

Project Veritas Undercover Investigation: CNN Producer Admits Network Hyping ‘Mostly Bulls***’ Trump-Russia Scandal for ‘Ratings’

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas has struck again: This time, a senior CNN producer was caught on camera by one of O’Keefe’s investigators admitting that the network’s relentless bashing of President Donald Trump with the Russia scandal lacks proof.

“Could be bulls***. I mean, it’s mostly bulls*** right now,” the CNN producer, John Bonifield, said in a video O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released on Tuesday, when asked about his thoughts on the Russia investigation. “Like, we don’t have any giant proof. Then they say, well there’s still an investigation going on. And you’re like, yeah, I don’t know. If they were finding something we would know about it. The way these leaks happen, they would leak it. They’d leak. If it was something really good, it would leak…. The leaks keep leaking and there’s so many great leaks, and it’s amazing. I just refuse to believe that if they had something really good like that that wouldn’t leak because we’ve been getting all these other leaks. So, I just feel like they don’t really have it but they want to keep digging. And so I think the president is probably right to say, like, look you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun. You have no real proof.” …

O’Keefe’s Project Veritas is billing this video as part one of a multi-part investigation into what they call: “American Pravda.”

BREAKING VIDEO: #FakeNews CNN Producer admits the CNN Russia narrative is “bulls***.” #AmericanPravda

More to come.https://t.co/m5lQ01keo1

— James O’Keefe (@JamesOKeefeIII) June 27, 2017

“Fake News: We start our American Pravda investigations inside American media with part one: CNN,” O’Keefe says in the video. “Our goal is to expose the real motivations behind the decision-making process at our dominant media corporations. Fake News. One story has monopolized President Trump’s time in office like no other, especially on CNN: Russia. In fact, since the Inauguration, CNN has mentioned Russia on their air nearly 16,000 times. So we sent our undercover reporters inside CNN to understand why and to determine if CNN even believes if the story is even real.” …

“It’s a business,” Bonifield says in the video. “People are like the media has an ethical … But, all the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school, you’re just like, that’s adorable. That’s adorable. This is a business. Especially cable news. Cable news isn’t the New York Times, and it’s not even like NBC News. I mean NBC News still gets 20 million viewers a night. Cable news is getting a million. So, they got to do what they got to do to make their money.”

Bonifield is also seen saying in the video that CNN treats President Trump much differently than CNN treated now former President Barack Obama when he was in office.

Train Derailment at 125th St. Station in Harlem Injures Dozens, Officials Say

At least 37 people were injured following an A train derailment in Harlem Tuesday morning.

Two cars on a southbound A train derailed at the West 125th Street station and hit a wall around 9:45 a.m. after its emergency brakes unexpectedly deployed, the MTA said. It was not immediately clear why the brakes were activated.

The impact of the derailment rippled through the line, stalling another 800 riders on nearby trains between the 110th Street (Cathedral Parkway) and 135th Street stations. Of those riders, about 500 decided to leave their trains and enter the tracks in what FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro described as a “self-evacuation.”

Passengers were evacuated from the derailed train, as well as three other trains, including one C and one D, that were also in the tunnel at the time, the MTA said.

The fire and police departments conducted a joint operation — involving 300 responders — in order to round up the passengers and bring them above ground, Nigro said…

Trump Takes Aim at Media After Russia Story Retraction

President Trump on Tuesday morning called out a host of major print and television outlets, decrying them as “Fake News” and taking particular aim at a familiar media nemesis.

Trump’s tweets came in the aftermath of CNN’s retraction of a story linking a Trump adviser to a Russian investment fund. Three journalists involved in the story’s publication have since resigned and CNN issued an apology to the Trump adviser. But the debacle still caught the president’s attention as he wondered if a similar reckoning awaited other organizations.

“So they caught Fake News CNN cold, but what about NBC, CBS & ABC? What about the failing @nytimes & @washingtonpost? They are all Fake News!” Trump wrote.

A Month of Islam and Multiculturalism in Britain: May 2017

by Soeren Kern

“The whole system failed and that is what has been happening for the last 30 years. And it is PC. People are just too, too afraid to, you know, just too, too afraid to speak the truth.” — Mohan Singh, founder of the Sikh Awareness Society.

MI5, Britain’s domestic security agency, revealed that it has identified 23,000 jihadist extremists living in the country.

Manchester bomber Salman Abedi used taxpayer-funded student loans and benefits to bankroll the terror plot, according to the Telegraph. Abedi is believed to have received thousands of pounds in state funding in the run-up to the attack even while he was overseas receiving bomb-making training. It also emerged that the chief imam of Abedi’s mosque fought with militants in Libya. The mosque was also reported to have hosted hate preachers who called for British soldiers to be killed and non-believers to be stoned to death.

“It is no secret that Saudi Arabia in particular provides funding to hundreds of mosques in the UK, espousing a very hardline Wahhabist interpretation of Islam. It is often in these institutions that British extremism takes root.” — Tom Brake, Lib Dem foreign affairs spokesman.

May 1. Army cadets in Scotland were warned not to wear their uniforms in public because they could be targeted by jihadists.

May 1. Three female teenagers were arrested in East London on terrorism charges. The arrests were in connection with an anti-terror operation in London on April 27 in which a woman wearing a burqa was shot by police. Police said that an active terror plot had been foiled.

May 2. Samata Ullah, a 34-year-old jihadist from Cardiff, was sentenced to eight years in prison for five terror offenses, including membership of the Islamic State, as well being involved in training terrorists and preparing for terrorist acts. Ullah, a British national of Bangladeshi origin, was a key member of a group calling itself the “Cyber Caliphate Army” and gave other members of IS advice on how to communicate using sophisticated encryption techniques…

Dutch State is Partly Liable for 300 Srebrenica Deaths, Appeal Court Says

The Dutch state has again been found partly liable for the death of over 300 Muslim men who died in the massacre of Srebrenica in 1995 by appeal court judges in The Hague, upholding a lower court ruling from 2014. The 300 men and boys were inside the Dutch military base in the Muslim enclave when it was over-run by Bosnian Serb forces and now the Dutch state must pay their relatives compensation, the court said. Some 6,000 surviving relatives are suing the Dutch state following the death of their menfolk. However, the Netherlands was not found to be responsible for the death of 7,000 plus other men and boys who were outside the compound.

The court said it would have been impossible for Dutch soldiers to have protected them when the Bosnian Serb forces began to round them up. The Dutch soldiers in Srebrenica were part of a UN peacekeeping mission and had been charged with protecting the Muslim enclave. After it was overrun by Ratko Mladic’s forces, an agreement was made on evacuating the some 30,000 Muslims who had fled to the area.

Netherlands: Lock Up Potential Terrorists as Precaution: Anti-Islam Wilders

According to PVV leader Geert Wilders, people who pose a threat to national security must be arrested immediately, even if there’s little evidence against them. He is submitting a legislative proposal to parliament today that gives intelligence service AIVD the capability of keeping potential terrorists in custody for six months, NOS reports

Currently people can only be detained if there is sufficient evidence for it. But if Wilders has his way, the AIVD will be able to arrest someone after getting permission from the Home Affairs Minister. A judge must look at the case within a week, but can only test it marginally, according to his proposal. This means that the judge will only look at whether the procedures were followed properly, according to NOS. The Public Prosecutor’s role in this is not mentioned.

“We are commemorating victims of attacks in Europe in the Kamer almost every week. We almost always hear that the perpetrators were known to the intelligence services. I want the AIVD to take preventative action”, Wilders said to De Telegraaf. “This bill can save lives.”

Sweden: Returning Islamic State Fighters Given ‘Protected Identities’ To Start New Lives in Europe

Hundreds of Swedish residents who went to fight for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria have now returned to Europe and the Swedish government has given several of them “protected identities” to keep locals from finding out who they are.

The vast majority of the returning jihadist fighters keep a very low profile once they get back to Sweden as many have committed terrorist offences while in the Middle East. 27-year-old Walad Ali Yousef is one returnee that the government has given a special status protecting his identity, normally given to people under serious threat Expressen reports.

Mr Yousef, originally from the heavily migrant-populated city of Malmo, spoke to the newspaper complaining he had difficulty finding a job. “I am looking for many jobs but can not get one because my pictures are out there,” he said.

Yousef joined the Islamic State in 2014, travelling to the ISIS capital of Raqqa in Syria. Formerly a small time criminal, Yousef sent pictures of himself in Syria posing with Kalashnikov rifles to encourage his friends in Sweden to join the terror group.

Sweden: Women Dominate Local Government Jobs

Two-thirds of high-ranking officials in Swedish municipalities are women, according to an upcoming study from the University of Gothenburg.

“If you look down the professional ladder, it is even more single-sex. There are almost only women,” Vicki Johansson, one of the researchers, told Swedish Radio. “If this trend continues, in say ten years or so, it will only be women working in local government.”

The study includes 50 municipalities across the country and is a follow-up to a survey from 1980. In the original study, only one quarter of high-ranking municipal officials were women.

The research found that the municipalities’ social departments have the largest majority of women, but the typically male-dominated technical departments have also seen an increase in the number female managers.

Award-Winning Journalist Says Syria Did Not Use Chemical Weapons

China Hits Back at US on Human Trafficking Downgrade

China has pre-emptively hit back at the United States for speaking “irresponsibly” ahead of an expected Trump administration move to name China among the world’s worst human trafficking offenders.

Foreign ministry spokesman Lu Kang said Tuesday that China strongly opposes the U.S. using its domestic laws to attack another country’s record, and maintained that the results of China’s anti-human trafficking efforts are “obvious for everyone to see.”

The U.S. State Department was expected to unveil later Tuesday a 2017 human trafficking report that downgrades China to the lowest “Tier 3” category, which includes North Korea, Zimbabwe and Syria. The report is the first major U.S. reprimand of China’s human rights record under the Trump administration, which has generally played down the promotion of rights in its foreign policy, including with China.

One day we could become the next Nie Shubin, Lei Yang, or Jia Jinglong. At that time, who will help you? If no one speaks up, how can one person face a powerful regime? That is impossible. Only if everyone truly awakens can there be a change in the social system.

There are not many people who have awakened. I would consider myself awakened. Despite not having rushed to the forefront, I was still arrested. The authorities motivated me to rush to the forefront of human rights lawyers, to become a human rights defender.

Liu Xiaobo: China Tells US Not to Interfere Over Jailed Dissident

Beijing has hit back at Washington for “irresponsible remarks” after the US criticised its treatment of Chinese Nobel peace laureate Liu Xiaobo.

The political activist, who is serving an 11 year term on subversion charges for calling for greater democracy, has been moved to hospital after being diagnosed with terminal liver cancer.

His wife Liu Xia, who is under house arrest, says it is beyond treatment.

The US has called on China to give the couple “genuine freedom”.

“We call on the Chinese authorities to not only release Mr Liu but also to allow his wife Ms Liu Xia out of house arrest,” US embassy spokeswoman Mary Beth Polley said.

Some American politicians have also called on China to allow the dissident, a key leader in the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989, to travel overseas for medical help.

Trump Turns Up Pressure on China Amid N. Korea Concerns

The once-budding bromance between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping seems to have cooled considerably after Beijing failed to rein in North Korea’s nuclear ambitions and missile program.

Now, the administration is taking new steps to pressure the country, with the State Department issuing a report Tuesday that labels it among the worst human traffickers in the world.

“China was downgraded to Tier 3 action in this year’s report in part because it has not taken serious steps to end its own complicity in trafficking, including forced laborers from North Korea that are located in China,” Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said.

Brawl at Footscray Barber Shop Caught on CCTV as Police Search for Youths Involved

CCTV footage of a wild brawl at a barber shop in Melbourne’s west where a man was hit in the head with a tomahawk has been released by police as they hunt for the offenders.

Police said up to 15 men entered the shop on Nicholson Street in Footscray, about 5:10pm last Friday and began arguing with people inside.

Detective Senior Constable Peter Street said initially staff were able to defuse the situation, but five minutes later the men came back.

At one point there were between 20 and 30 people in the barber shop.

“[The offenders were] all males between 17 and 20 years old,” he said.

“The majority of them were of African or Somali appearance.”

State of ‘Collapse’: Italy Overwhelmed as 13,500 African Migrants Arrive in Past Two Days

Italy’s migrant welcome centers are in a state of “collapse” as huge waves of African migrants take advantage of the temperate climate to make the crossing from Libya to the Italian peninsula.

On Tuesday, 8,500 African migrants are reaching Italian shores aboard 14 different ships, adding to the 5,000 who arrived on Monday. The massive arrivals have led local media as well as politicians to speak of an authentic immigrant “invasion” exceeding the country’s capacity of assimilation.

Officials reported on June 15 that more than 65,000 migrants had arrived since the beginning of the year, but that was prior to the latest influx. Figures for the year now stand at 73,380 migrants into Italy, or a rise of 14.42 percent over the same period in 2016, when then-record arrivals had reached 64,133.

The exodus from Libya to the Italian coast has continuing unabated with no visible action on the part of the Italian government or the European Union to halt it.

The illegal immigrants who reach the Libyan coast from all parts of Africa (most recently, from the West), embark in the Mediterranean on makeshift boats. The majority of these are picked up either by NGOs or humanitarian organizations or official Italian Coast Guard or naval vessels.

Despite their intention to travel up through Italy into northern Europe, the vast majority of migrants end up remaining in Italy, mostly because the northern borders with France, Switzerland and Austria are closely watched.

Four Feminists Who Abandoned Feminism

(c) IntellectualTakeout.org

Though many women call themselves feminists for a variety of reasons, not every woman who adopts the title sticks with it. Both adopting and dropping the label come with political and social assumptions and consequences, and for that reason some choose to avoid the debate altogether. However, the women below have been involved in the debate — and they have seen it from the perspective of both sides. These four women detail the reasons they — and possibly many others — abandoned the movement.

  1. “Two-thirds of high-ranking officials in Swedish municipalities are women, according to an upcoming study from the University of Gothenburg.”

…and with the recent scientific discoveries about the differences between men and women, I believe it was Stephan Molyneux who said the true reason why it is politically incorrect for Europeans to use force against the migrant flood: The truth is that women are hardwired to oppose violence, because violence is clearly not their domain. Women’s domain is “manipulation” if you will.

But the point is – since women gained so much power in europe, and they are generally in hard hard opposition against violence (because women do not profit from violence, generally speaking) – it is the women who rendered Europe defenceless.

The solutions proposed to solve migrant crisis are simply – feminine. Talk to them, persuade them, manipulate them…

Well, EU ladies and effeminate gentlemen, prepare yourself for trainwreck with the masculine principle.

    • “Hardwired to oppose violence” eh?

They should meet Mrs Dominico – they would soon change their minds.

    • As the saying goes: Men are from Mars, women are from Venus.

I read some of that stuff years ago, & seem to remember the author of that book saying that women liked to sit around and talk about problems, whereas men would retire to their cave & think about how to solve problems.

Then the men would emerge, and apply the “Iron John” principle.

      Problem solved!

Moral of the story: There really are far too many women in charge of departments, governments etc in the West today – women who are full of themselves, and who are totally enthralled with the notion that sitting around “talking” about things is the same as actually doing something – IT’S NOT!

As for this fascination they have with “meetings” – that seems to be their answer to everything. Let’s have a “meeting”. You’ve got a problem? Why don’t we have a “meeting”?

      It’s pathetic.

After each and every Islamic terrorist attack in the UK, you will read on the rolling headlines at the bottom of the screen that Theresa May will be attending a COBRA meeting … every time … as if that was going to make a difference.

      Obviously, it hasn’t.

Words never solved a damned thing – not without action.

Kinky Friedman – Get Your Biscuits in the Oven and your Buns in the Bed

      • Yea well I believe it is about the universal #1 masculine, and #2 feminine principle which can project into the world in number of ways – the biological way is biological male and female – although the the roles can be actually switched in real relationships. The male being the #2 in a romantic relationship with a woman.

Nevertheless, it looks like biology is a strong mother, and there is definitely something to “nature”, as well as “nurture”. Women who are leading relationships are oftentimes dissatisfied, and don’t see their beta man as “worthy” – and it can be traced directly to biology.

We are the sons of our fathers, so – let me guess – boys as young as babies, out of a sudden, are interested in swords, and slingshots, and guns… I bet you our grand grand fathers were quite killers.

When it comes to war, I know only a few women, about two, who I can imagine being at battlefield with me – because they are quite some girls, extreme sportwomen, and I guess if they jump cliffs on snowboards, and fly paraglides, they wouldn’t chicken out…

But the rest of the women and girls I know – well I don’t know. I enjoy extreme rides, stormy seas, high mountains, motorbikes… And I don’t like it when I’m excited about the waves, but some women are screaming and crying “please, make it stop!”

Why? I ask. I’ve seen girls do that and spoil a lot of fun just because they fear some danger.

Well, I also worked some telecom, and sometimes – you simply have to climb under potentially deadly conditions. From my experience, women avoid dangerous roads, and seek protection from others.

I believe that the Feminine Principle is one of the psycho traps we have been forced under constant male shaming. Why do you think, a boy would want to become a girl? Don’t you find it strange? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSODY5n8abM&t=3s

    • Paragraph 3, quote:

…(because women do not profit from violence, generally speaking)….

      Jackpot!

  2. I am a Greek woman and i propose to solve the migrant crisis by throw them all in the Aegean.
If they swim, good for them, they will swim going back to where they came from,if they don’t,tough for them.
    As simple as that.

  3. “Mujahideen for the Islamic State are being given “protected identities” (…) The Swedish government is concerned that if the general public become aware of these men’s past, the unfortunate youngsters will be discriminated against for their errors of judgment, and be unable to find jobs.”

And the same government has no problem to name and shame its own Swedish citizens for alleged “hate speech”.

  4. “Mujahideen for the Islamic State are being given “protected identities” when they return from the jihad in Syria. The Swedish government is concerned that if the general public become aware of these men’s past, the unfortunate youngsters will be discriminated against for their errors of judgment, and be unable to find jobs.”

Please tell me that this site is The Onion of Vienna.

    • Well, my wording of the description is somewhat flip, but what I said is basically true.

    • I am sure the new identities will successfully disguise the jihadis and help them to integrate into Swedish society. Lots of unkempt bearded “southern looking” young men wearing man-jammies with names like Sven and Oly idly roaming the streets and looking for targets to rape…

  5. “Protected identities” for the returning mujahideen. What a great idea. Give them weapons to defend themselves while you’re at it.
They shouldn’t even be allowed back in the first place.
    You will never learn Sweden.

    • The story suggests there might be something to the stereotype regarding blondes & lack of common sense. That flawed characteristic will be bred or beaten out of the Swedish genome in a generation or two by the invaders.

  6. “Finished”? Au contraire. It’s the perfect location for the first Muslim base in Western Europe. As the Muslims say, “maybe not in a decade but definitely in ten decades”. Bon voyage.

  7. What a day of a LOT of news.

The feeling that I’m getting is that these issues are spinning out of control, going faster and faster all the time.

  8. (About the little upset in the Australian barber’s shop) … but as I said being 5:00pm on a Friday night there could’ve been any number [of people] in there of all ages and all sexes,” he said.

Yeah, of all sexes …. Is that three … or five… or six…? Modern life is getting so complicated.

Oh, I have some information for Australian Crimestoppers.

ROUND THESE PEOPLE UP AND PUT THEM OUT. That way you’ll stop an awful lot of crime … and a lot of awful crime.

    Really!
