BLS Data Show Illinois Would Have 250,000 More People Working if it Kept Up With Surrounding States

Illinois suffered another month of weak economic performance in May, according to new data from the Illinois Department of Employment Security. Illinois’ workforce shrank by 22,600 people in May, causing the unemployment rate to fall due to workforce dropout.

Illinois’ economy has been the long-term laggard of the region, and the Land of Lincoln has performed as if it is in a single-state economic depression. And data for all states from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that if Illinois had kept up with surrounding states, 250,000 more people would be working here.

Illinois’ personal income growth is the worst in the nation, and has remained stagnant for families who need to earn and save more money. In addition, jobs growth has left too many without opportunities, and Illinois’ housing crisis has left 1 in 6 mortgages deeply underwater.

Author Says Antifa Should be Listed as a Domestic Terror Group

Evergreen State College has been under siege by left-wing protesters known as Antifa, forcing the Washington state school to move its graduation off campus. The controversy started a month ago when a professor confronted students who were calling for a “day without white people” on the campus.

On “Fox & Friends” today, Steve Doocy asked whether Antifa should be considered a domestic terrorist group. Author Scott Greer, who also works as deputy editor of Daily Caller, said it should be on the list because the group legitimizes and celebrates acts of violence against their opponents.

Camille Paglia Blames Dems for Destroying Journalism — ‘It is Going to Take Decades to Recover’ (Video)

Tuesday on Sean Hannity’s nationally syndicated radio show, author and University of the Arts professor of humanities and media studies Camille Paglia railed against the current state of journalism in America.

Paglia called what she said the Democratic Party had done to journalism “absolutely grotesque” and warned it would take decades to recover.

“It’s obscene,” she said. “It’s outrageous, OK? It shows that the Democrats are nothing now but words and fantasy and hallucination and Hollywood. There’s no journalism left. What’s happened to The New York Times? What’s happened to the major networks? It’s an outrage.”

“I’m a professor of media studies, in addition to a professor of humanities, OK?” she continued. “And I think it’s absolutely grotesque the way my party has destroyed journalism. Right now, it is going to take decades to recover from this atrocity that’s going on where the news media have turned themselves over to the most childish fraternity, kind of buffoonish behavior.”

CNN’s Jim Acosta Whines About Trump Receiving Equal Number of Questions From Conservative Media

“This isn’t how we do things in this country”

CNN’s Jim Acosta is unhappy that Donald Trump receives an equal number of questions from conservative media outlets and whined about it during a torturous appearance on the network.

Acosta joined CNN’s Brooke Baldwin to have a near temper tantrum about how Trump has made it into a “new normal” that CNN doesn’t get to exert a monopoly on his time.

Boo-hoo.

After complaining that his every repetitive question isn’t treated with the utmost importance by Press Secretary Sean Spicer, Acosta launched into his tirade.

Dear Democrats / Media: ICYMI Last Night Was a Referendum on You, Not Trump

Democrats lost despite crying out ‘minority voter suppression’ and running to a judge to keep polls open longer in heavily Democratic areas while other polling stations closed on time…because there is no way there were any “technical glitches” in Fulton or Cobb county throughout the day…just in Democrat neighborhoods. But it didn’t matter.

Democrats lost despite CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Wapo, etc blasting out fake narratives on Russian hacking 24/7…an all out propaganda blitz…millions of dollars worth free air time for the Democrat cause…but it didn’t matter.

And Democrats lost depite their best efforts to once again use aggressive “oversamples” to rig polling data. As we pointed out last night, the Real Clear Politics average had Ossoff winning by 5 points just last week…for those keeping track that’s a roughly 10-point polling ‘error’ from how things actually turned out…but it didn’t matter.

So, last night was a referendum, but it was a referendum on Democrats and the media, not Trump.

In round one, Ossoff got 48.1% of the vote in the special election for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District. After spending some $15 million over the last two months, he managed to lose support, getting only 47.4% to Handel’s 52.6% on Tuesday.

Flint Airport: Officer Stabbed in Stable Condition, Being Investigated as ‘Possible’ Act of Terrorism

The stabbing of a police officer at a Michigan airport on Wednesday is being investigated by the FBI as a possible terror attack, officials said.

Bishop International Airport in Flint, Michigan, was evacuated after a Officer Jeff Neville was stabbed in the neck. He’s currently listed as being in stable condition, according to Michigan State Police.

Ken Brown tells The Flint Journal he was dropping off his daughter at the airport and saw the officer bleeding from his neck. He says he saw a man detained by police and a knife on the ground.

“The cop was on his hands and knees bleeding from his neck,” Brown said. “I said they need to get him a towel.”

Cherie Carpenter, who was awaiting a flight to Texas to see her new grandchild, tells Flint TV station WJRT she saw the attacker being led away in handcuffs. She described the man in custody as appearing “blank, just totally blank.”

Genesee County Commissioner Mark Young, a friend of Neville, called him “an honorable man” whom he worked with at the county Sheriff’s Department, according to MLive.

Neville was a lieutenant with the airport’s police department, said Young, who met with the victim’s family and at the hospital today.

“As expected, they are shook up. They are concerned,” he told MLive.

Muslims Question Whether the Killing of 17-Year-Old Nabra Hassanen Was Road Rage

Nabra Hassanen, 17, was bludgeoned with a baseball bat early Sunday by a motorist who drove up to about 15 Muslim teenagers as they walked or bicycled along a road, Fairfax County police said. A Hassanen family spokesman said all the girls in the group were wearing Muslim headscarves and robes.

This is How Many Insects You Can Consume a Year When You Drink Coffee

Bugs are everywhere. There’s no refuting that fact. That’s why the FDA has to make allowances for a certain amount of insects or insect fragments in our food. They’re labeled as unavoidable defects in food and found in lots of ingredients, such as peanut butter, chocolate and even fruits and vegetables. This includes coffee, folks. COFFEE.

The FDA keeps a cap on the amount of insects allowed in our food, but over time this number adds up. (Math can be a scary thing sometimes.) If you look at the quantity of food you’ve eaten over time and the amount of insect bits allowed in that food, what you end up with is a whole lot of bugs.

5,000 Criminals in Sweden’s Vulnerable Areas: Police

Sweden’s national police chief has presented a new report about the country’s problem areas, increasing the number of districts classified as vulnerable or especially vulnerable.

The report, which is likely to grab headlines in Sweden and abroad, follows another high-profile report from 2015 which listed 53 so-called vulnerable areas, including 15 considered especially vulnerable.

In the new report, 61 areas are now on the list, of which 23 are considered especially vulnerable, 6 are risk areas (areas that are at high risk of becoming especially vulnerable) and 32 are vulnerable.

Some of these were revealed last week, but the full version was presented today.

The term “no-go zone” famously caught on in some international media back in 2015 after it was used by a Swedish newspaper columnist to label these areas, but it has been strongly rejected by police and emergency services themselves.

Finnish Police say they have foiled a terrorist attack targetting a church in Helsinki.

The Temppeliaukio Church, a popular tourist attraction in the heart of the city built directly into a solid piece of stone, is less than a kilometer from the Finnish parliament and supposedly was a planned target for terrorists.

Finland’s Interior Minister Paula Risikko said: “The Finnish Security Intelligence Service (Supo) has made an assessment that the threat of terrorism has increased. A 2015 assessment indicated a high risk of a single terror attack and we have now elevated the general threat level. This means that while we already were very well prepared, now we are even more so.”

Helsinki police sent several units to patrol near the so-called Rock church to try to apprehend a suspect in the area, although it remains unclear whether any arrests were made.

Supo says it has become aware of more serious terrorism-related plots in Finland in recent months.

Hungary Rejects U.S. Criticism of Law on Foreign and Soros-Funded NGOs

Hungary’s government said Tuesday that the United States is applying double standards in its criticism of a new law on civic groups that receive funds from foreign donors.

A statement from the government spokesman’s office said the U.S. State Department was being “misled” by a disinformation campaign appearing in international media and “strongly assisted by Soros organizations.”

At the center of the dispute are some civic groups supported by Hungarian-American financier George Soros, such as the Hungarian Helsinki Committee, a human rights advocate which also provides legal aid to asylum-seekers, and the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union.

“We would like everyone to see which organizations funded from abroad are seeking to influence Hungarian public life and migration policy in accordance with foreign interests,” the Hungarian government said. “It is regrettable to see even the U.S. Department of State being misled on this issue.”

SNP ministers have threatened to derail the UK Government’s plans for an “orderly” Brexit unless they are handed a swathe of new powers repatriated from Brussels.

Mike Russell, the SNP’s Brexit Minister, warned the Scottish Parliament could withhold consent for a swathe of legislation required to plug gaps in the statute book after EU law ceases to apply.

In particular, he said the Nationalists would not agree to the UK Government unilaterally creating post-Brexit laws covering agriculture, fisheries, environmental policy and justice in Scotland.

Spain: Three Jihadist Suspects Arrested in Madrid Ahead of World Pride 2017

Three people suspected of jihadist activity have been arrested in Madrid, the Spanish Interior Ministry said in a release on Wednesday. One of those detained is considered a “very dangerous” and highly radicalized individual with ties to the so-called Islamic State (ISIS) and who had collected a large amount of material including manuals on how to perpetrate terrorist attacks.

The other two shared an apartment with the former, who was training them to join ISIS, said the ministry in its release.

The raid took place in the early hours of Wednesday, just two days before the Spanish capital is due to play host to World Pride 2017. Madrid has boosted security measures to deal with an event that is expected to attract around two million people to the Spanish capital between June 23 and July 2.

Terror Rocks Britain But State Deports Christians, EU Sanctions East Europe

Depending on who happens to wield the weapon of choice (be it gun, knife, bomb or motor vehicle) there seems to be a real dispute regarding the label’s application. Officials sit on their hands before calling it terrorism when it comes to dozens and hundreds (Paris 11/13/15) of Christians, conservatives, concert-goers or baseball fans losing life and limb.

Monday morning’s incident of a van driver mowing down individuals outside of a Finsbury Park mosque in North London was a different story. Politically correct officials had no compunction applying the term terrorist to the vehicle’s operator that was described as “white” which, by the way, also applies to the majority of the world’s muslims, whether they are of Arab, Persian, Pakistani or European descent-all are white or Caucasian. Whereas any of the previous terror attacks in Britain (London Bridge, Westminster and Manchester) were tardily tagged as such, including the Lord Mayor Sadiq Khan’s telling Londoners that terror is now an accepted risk of living in a big city, it demonstrates an obvious prejudice in favor of the muslim community at the expense of other Britons.

“This initiative has disregarded the basic principles of our holy faith,” Diyanet said in a written statement.

Battle for Mosul: IS ‘Blows Up’ Al-Nuri Mosque

So-called Islamic State (IS) has blown up the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul, Iraqi forces say.

The ancient landmark with its famous leaning minaret was where IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi proclaimed a “caliphate” in 2014.

However, IS claims that US aircraft destroyed the complex, in a statement issued by its news outlet Amaq.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said blowing up the mosque was “an official declaration of defeat” by IS.

The jihadists have destroyed a string of important heritage sites in Iraq and Syria.

The UN has said that IS may be holding more than 100,000 people in Mosul as human shields.

The Government’s Plan to Survive Nuclear War Doesn’t Include You: “There Won’t be Enough Bulldozers to Scrape the Bodies Off the Street”

Once again this week, the United States teetered a little closer towards war with the Russians. On Sunday, the US military shot down a Syrian jet that was allegedly targeting US backed forces. The Russians have since claimed that the aircraft was engaging ISIS, and have revealed that their air defense systems will now track any of our aircraft that happen to fly over Western Syria. They also suspended a hotline between the US and Russia that was in place to prevent mid-air collisions over the crowded skies of Syria.

Amid incidents like this, you have to wonder what our government is thinking. For most Americans, Syria must seem inconsequential. Why is our military involved in a country, where we are brushing shoulders with a nuclear armed nation? If it’s to fight ISIS, then we could easily sit back and let Russian and Syrian forces wipe them out. If it’s to affect regime change, then clearly our government hasn’t learned anything from Iraq or Afghanistan. Why are we risking a war with the Russians just to influence the outcome of a regional civil war that has little bearing on the daily lives of most Americans?

The answer to that question could probably fill a novel, but there is one reason that the elites in Washington will never admit to. They can afford to make careless decisions because they are insulated from the results. If there is a war with Russia, which could easily turn into a nuclear war, they’ ll have plenty of spacious bunkers to hide out in while the rest of America burns. And that’s been our government’s plan in regards to nuclear war since the beginning of the Cold War.

That’s the main takeaway from a new book called Raven Rock: The Story of the US Government’s Plan to Save Itself. Our government has spent decades building sprawling bunkers, like Raven Rock, that high ranking officials can flee to in the event of a nuclear war.

[Comment: Elites/Globalists do not hesistate to reveal their goals. Google “Georgia Guidestones”, where their desire for a WORLD population of no more than 500 million serfs is carved in stone. This would mean that BILLIONS are targeted for extermination by elites. This is why these evil people are working feverishly behind the scenes trying to trigger a nuclear WWIII.]

“Socialism Has Produced Some Very Powerful Millionaires”: As Venezuelans Starve in the Streets, The Elites Party on

The country may be stricken by poverty and political violence, but a rich minority acts like they are untouched by the crisis.

Case in point: Caracas, one of the world’s most violent cities, is the first in South America to open a branch of the trendy Buddha Bar international nightclub chain.

In a country where basics such as flour and sugar are in short supply, Buddha Bar guests can order tuna steak, pork ribs or fish tacos — as long as they have dollars to pay.

“You can have as good a time here in Caracas as in New York, Dubai or Saint Petersburg,” says one of its owners, Cristhian Estephan.

Eight pieces of salmon and shrimp sushi here cost 55,700 bolivars, or the equivalent of more than a quarter of the country’s official monthly minimum wage…

[…]While the mass protests against President Nicolas Maduro show that Venezuelans’ anger at their hardship is boiling over, the well-off are still managing to have fun.

This always happens in socialist countries, because socialist regimes don’t distribute the wealth equally to everyone. Once the government has a firm grip on the economy, it can distribute that wealth to whoever is the most loyal to the regime.

EU Greens: “Send Whole Syrian Villages” To Eastern Europe for Better Integration

The migration spokesman for the Greens in the European Union (EU) Parliament has called for Brussels to resettle “whole villages” of migrants in Eastern Europe.

Vice-President of the Greens-European Free Alliance group, Ska Keller, told the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung that it is essential the EU implement a “solidarity distribution” system because migrants should be spread throughout Europe.

Noting how a large proportion of the migrants resettled in Baltic states like Lithuania quickly left to seek higher welfare payments in countries like Germany, the Green MEP said Brussels should send migrants to Eastern Europe in much greater numbers.

Keller suggested the EU could resettle “a whole Syrian village” in Latvia, “for example, if refugees are not wanting to move to a country without any other refugees”.

“People like to go where they can be among their own countrymen,” she explained, and claimed that moving migrants in huge numbers would improve integration.

“Each of them raped me three times,” she said in her statement.

The men would then beat and kick the woman, she claimed, adding that she tried running away and calling for help but the men had taken her phone. They later used the device to record part of the assault.

Study Supports Trump: 5.7 Million Noncitizens May Have Cast Illegal Votes

Tucker Carlson: ‘Democrats Still Have Literally No Idea Why They Keep Losing Elections’

Partial transcript as follows:

[D]emocrats still have literally no idea why they keep losing elections. If they did they would have run a real candidate with a real job who understands the constituents he is attempting to represent.

Instead, Democrats put up a 30-year-old semi-employed documentary filmmaker who can’t even vote for himself because he doesn’t live in the district. He’s got a ton of trendy rich people positions on just about every topic — the abortion people love him. He is gravely concerned about climate and childhood obesity and the availability of organic kale. He thinks illegal aliens are noble. He went to the London School of Economics. He is super fit and way smarter than you want.

We could go on and on, but you’ve seen it all before. That’s the point. Voters have seen it before, too. And outside of Brooklyn and in the west side of L.A., they are not that into it. That’s why Democrats keep losing.
