Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/21/2017

Donald Trump’s second day as president was a busy one. After attending the National Prayer Service (in which an imam also participated — more on that later), his first official action was to visit CIA headquarters, where he gave a brief talk. I watched the whole speech on YouTube, and I highly recommend it.

In other news, failed asylum seekers from Germany — labeled “Merkel’s Migrants” — are pouring into France at the rate of 50-100 per day.

EU Imposes Banking Rules on Cryptocurrencies Without Granting Banking Rights: Expert

The Bitcoin community has reacted to the European Union’s announcement that digital currency control will be on its list of priorities in 2017.

Matthias Klees, a founding member of LocalCrypto and the CEO of EuropeCoin, has called on the cryptocurrency community not to contribute to confusion caused by incorrect wording.

[Comment: I have not considered this issue before. One of the one hand I’m not big on cryptocurrencies. On the other hand I distrust the EU. I’m still pondering the ramifications of this topic.]

America Dodged a Fatal Bullet Because of President Trump

As I sit here and write this missive today there are 70 rallies going on, all of which are anti-Trump and carrying the same type of message: “Do this Trump or else!” I am so tired of listening to such rubbish; “Do this or else!” What do those leftists believe they’re going to do when they say: “Or else!?” All they can do is “whine” us all to death. They have no idea of the dire fate America was spiraling towards were it not for Donald Trump’s resounding victory. Allow me spell it out so simply and clearly that even the “hard-core left” can understand it.

Former President Obama was a community organizer, then he became a junior Senator while being an ardent follower of Saul Alinsky, and later on followed the philosophies of Frank Marshall Davis, and wrote about Alinsky in his book.

Hillary Clinton wrote her thesis on Saul Alinky and his teachings. Had she become the President the final destruction of America would’ve shortly been forthcoming because of her belief in Alinsky’s teachings.

Again, let’s keep this simple for our leftist friends out there. Who was Saul Alinksky that both Obama and Clinton admired so? He was a community organizer just like Obama. His teachings can best be found in his 1971 book “Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals.”

What were the teachings which Obama and Clinton so admired as written by Alinsky? He wrote that there are eight steps of control which need to be achieved if you want to create a social state. Here are those 8 steps as penned by Alinsky:

“The first is the most important.

1- Healthcare — Control healthcare and you control the people

2- Poverty — Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3- Debt — Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4- Gun Control — Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5- Welfare — Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).

6- Education — Take control of what people read and listen to — take control of what children learn in school.

7- Religion — Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.

8- Class Warfare — Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.”

Defending Joseph Raymond McCarthy (1908-1957)

by Diana West

When Sen. Joseph McCarthy died, shockingly, at the age of 48, he, his aides and his committee had identified at least fifty Soviet agents, ideological communists and Fifth Amendment pleaders, dedicated to the overthrow of our constitutional system, and loyal/sympathetic to Stalin, Mao and a new wave of genocidal dictators. It was the late M. Stanton Evans, America’s greatest McCarthy expert, author of Blacklisted by History, who created the table of fifty (link above), drawing proofs from personal papers, declassified FBI memos, congressional archives, intercepted Soviet communications, defector testimonies, and the like.

He wrote:

Looking at this mass of materials and matching them up with McCarthy’s cases, the main thing to be noted is a recurring pattern of verification. Time and again, we see the suspects named by McCarthy and/or his committee—treated at the time as hapless victims—revealed in official records as what McCarthy and company said they were—except, in the typical instance, a good deal more so.

To normal Americans, some large number of Deplorables among them, this probably sounds like a monumental record of accomplishment for a US Senator, who, while beating back the media-political-complex of the 1950s seeking to destroy him (as they did), upheld his oath to defend the Constitution “against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” If this is not a record elected officials today would do well to emulate I don’t know what is…

Full Text, Video: President Trump’s Inaugural Speech

Trump’s inaugural speech, transcribed below:

“Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans and people of the world, thank you.

We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and restore its promise for all of our people.

Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for many, many years to come. We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done.

Every four years we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power.

And we are grateful to President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition.

They have been magnificent.

Thank you.

Today’s ceremony, however, has a very special meaning because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.

For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have bore the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered but the jobs left and the factories closed.

The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

That all changes starting right here and right now, because this moment is your moment.

It belongs to you.

It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America.

This is your day.

This is your celebration.

And this, the United States of America, is your country.

Man Shot Outside University of Washington Milo Event, Gunman Spoke on Camera Minutes Before Incident

A day of protests across the University of Washington campus turned violent Friday evening after a 32 year old man was shot in the abdomen outside of a Milo Yiannopoulos event. The victim, currently in surgery, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and the suspect turned himself in, telling police he fired in self-defense. This comes on the heels of a progressively violent day on campus as Anti-Trump Protesters clashed with police and Trump supporters; throwing rocks, bricks, firecrackers, and paint. Police helicopters and the FBI bomb squad had been deployed earlier in the evening, and pepper spray was used to control the crowd.

In a Periscope stream recorded minutes before the incident, the shooter can be heard saying:

“I don’t give a man, I’m just here by myself. I’m not with anybody. I am speaking my mind, alright?”

Minutes later, a single shot rings out, which the shooter claims was in self-defense:

Earlier in the evening, a high school student on the UW campus was beaten up and had paint thrown on him:

[comment Very likely it was self defence against a rabid anti-Trumper.]

Nigel Farage to Become Commentator on Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News

Nigel Farage’s love affair with Donald Trump’s America has taken another leap forward with news the former Ukip leader is to become a commentator on Fox News. Fox announced Farage would be joining to provide political analysis on its main news channel and its business network in a short statement during Trump’s swearing-in as the 45th US president. Fox is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who has attempted to forge ties with Trump following his victory, and was also a backer of the campaign to leave the EU. New York Magazine’s Gabriel Sherman has reported that the media mogul, who owns the Sun and Times newspapers in London, speaks to Trump at least three times a week. Trump has publicly praised Farage, posing with him just after his election victory and tweeting that he would make a “great” ambassador…

Obama Terrorist Pal Bill Ayers Goes to Washington

Unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers is in Washington, D.C., for the inaugural festivities.

I know this because I walked by him and his terrorist wife, Bernardine Dohrn, outside the Federal Center SW Metro station late this morning. The couple were heading — appropriately — towards the “red” viewing section on the National Mall for the swearing in of President Trump and Vice President Pence.

I snapped a photo of them on my smartphone as they were walking away:(See Below)

But they’re not here to celebrate; they’re here to burn the place to the ground.

Ayers said so on his blog:

President Trump’s Inauguration Speech — the UN and NATO — Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid

Trump’s inaugural speech sounded like another one of his fiery campaign speeches on the stump.

Except now that Trump is officially the president of the United States, his speech is now new American policy. Hard, tough, nationalistic. Blatantly American interests above all. Free-riding on the backs of American taxpayers

On the campaign trail, Trump blasted the UN and NATO member states (American allies) for free-riding on the backs of American taxpayers.

In his speech Trump returned to these themes. Trump claimed that the corrupt political elites in Washington have been taking money from the American working and middle classes and sending it around the world.

Though Trump did not mention the UN in particular, he was referring, among other parties, to the overpaid bloated UN bureaucracy and the UN itself , which takes American taxpayers’ money ( annually, $ 8 billion per year, representing about 22% of the UN’s entire budget).

And what does America receive in return for this annual investment?

Students Arrested for Handing Out Constitutions File First Amendment Lawsuit Against College

The Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) chapter at Kellogg Community College has filed a federal lawsuit against KCC after three students were arrested while handing out copies of the Constitution on campus last September. The suit was filed Wednesday by Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), which represents the students.

According to the complaint, while distributing copies of the Constitution and telling students about their YAL chapter, students Brandon Withers, Michelle Gregoire, and three other YAL supporters were approached by campus security and administrators. The students were informed that they were violating the college’s “solicitation policy” because they had not received approval from the college to speak with their fellow students. They were also told they needed to limit their activity to a pre-reserved table inside the student center. Three of the students were then arrested and charged with trespass because they declined to leave campus.

Suspect in Murder of Off-Duty Police Officer, Ex-Girlfriend Shoots Himself to End Hours-Long Standoff

A Louisiana man suspected of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend and an off-duty police officer shot himself in the chest Friday evening after an hours-long standoff on a New Orleans bridge, authorities said.

Louisiana State Police Spokesman Melissa Matey said Sylvester Holt, 32, was in critical condition at University Medical Center in New Orleans.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand said that Holt admitted to shooting and killing Simone Veal, 32, of Marrero, La., and Westwego Officer Michael Louviere, 26, early Friday morning.

Normand said Holt went to Veal’s house after hearing that she had become pregnant by her current boyfriend.

Witnesses said Holt fired at Veal, then chased her car in his vehicle to an intersection where she hit a truck waiting at a light, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s spokesman John Fortunato said. Louviere, whose shift ended at 6 a.m. Friday, was on his way home after work when he spied the crash and stopped to help.

Normand said Holt “executed” Louviere with a single shot to the head as the officer tried to render aid to Veal…

Trump’s Declaration of War: 12 Things He Must Do for America to be Great Again

President Trump’s brief inaugural speech was a declaration of war against the entirety of the American Ruling Establishment. All of it.

As Paul Craig Roberts details, Trump made it abundantly clear that Americans’ enemies are right here at home: globalists, neoliberal economists, neoconservatives and other unilateralists accustomed to imposing the US on the world and involving us in endless and expensive wars, politicians who serve the Ruling Establishment rather than the American people, indeed, the entire canopy of private interests that have run America into the ground while getting rich in the process.

If truth can be said, President Trump has declared a war far more dangerous to himself than if he had declared war against Russia or China.

The interest groups designated by Trump as The Enemy are well entrenched and accustomed to being in charge. Their powerful networks are still in place. Although there are Republican majorities in the House and Senate, most of those in Congress are answerable to the ruling interest groups that provide their campaign funds and not to the American people or to the President. The military/security complex, offshoring corporations, Wall Street and the banks are not going to roll over for Trump. And neither is the presstitute media, which is owned by the interest groups whose power Trump challenges.

Trump made it clear that he stands for every American, black, brown, and white. Little doubt his declaration of inclusiveness will be ignored by the haters on the left who will continue to call him a racist just as the $50 per hour paid protesters are doing as I write…

We should ask ourselves why a 70 year old billionaire with flourishing businesses, a beautiful wife, and intelligent children is willing to give his final years to the extraordinary stress of being President with the stressful agenda of putting the government back in the hands of the American people. There is no doubt that Trump has made himself a target of assassination. The CIA is not going to give up and go away. Why would a person take on the grand restoration of America that Trump has declared when he could instead spend his remaining years enjoying himself immensely?

Whatever the reason, we should be grateful for it, and if he is sincere we must support him. If he is assassinated, we need to take up our weapons, burn Langley to the ground and kill every one of them.

If he succeeds, he deserves the designation: Trump the Great!

Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, and any other country on the CIA’s hit list should undersand that Trump’s rise is insufficient protection. The CIA is a worldwide organization. Its profitable businesses provide income independent of the US budget. The organization is capable of undertaking operations independently of the President or even of its own Director.

The CIA has had about 70 years to entrench itself. It has not gone away.

But, as Jeremiah Johnson explains (via SHTFPlan.com), it will take a complete sea change to rectify the course this country has been heading in the past eight years. These are some of the problems that Trump will need to reverse when he becomes President Trump, many of which he promised to either change or end completely:

Trump Admin Outlines Policy Priorities for First 100 Days on Revamped WH Website

The White House web page maps out the Trump administration’s plans for energy, foreign policy, jobs, military and law enforcement, and trade deals, which will likely shape the direction of his first 100 days in office.

The list of priorities was published at the White House website after Trump was sworn in.

Under the energy plan, the White House said it is committed to elimination policies such as the Climate Action Plan and Waters of the US rule.

“Lifting these restrictions will greatly help American workers, increasing wages by more than $30 billion over the next 7 years,” according the White House.

The Trump administration will support a program of tapping the estimated $50 trillion worth of untapped shale oil and gas reserves, especially on federal lands, and use the revenue to support public infrastructure building.

Under its energy plan, the Trump administration says is committed to clean coal technology and reviving the nation’s coal industry.

The White House wants independence from the OPEC cartel and “any nations hostile to our interests.”

Trump Team in Talks With U.K. On Post-Brexit Trade Deal

The Trump administration next week will begin laying groundwork for a trade deal between the U.S. and the U.K. that would take effect after Britain leaves the European Union, a White House aide said.

British Prime Minister Theresa May said last week that she would move to cleanly separate her country’s economy from Europe’s and enact immigration controls before negotiating new trade deals with the continent and other countries, an approach deemed a “hard Brexit.” Trump officials believe their talks with her government encouraged May to be more aggressive in exiting the union.

Two of President Donald Trump’s senior advisers, Steve Bannon and the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, met with U.K. Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson in New York on Jan. 8. The three are preparing for the future pact, the aide said, requesting anonymity because the discussions aren’t public.

Justin Trudeau’s (Not-So-Excellent) Khanflict of Interest Adventure

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in a spot of bother. Over the Christmas holiday, Trudeau was lost. Where was the Left’s favorite son? The media wanted to know and so did the citizenry. Where were the Trudeaus spending their Christmas? What were they wearing? What did their Christmas tree look like? These were all important questions. Before everyone could yawn and go back to their pudding, the press corps realized that our leader was nowhere to be found. Was he under the Speaker’s Chair? In the garden? Or was he frozen solid in a snow bank next to the Rideau Canal? Was he clinging to a plastic Santa in a mall car park? Everyone wanted answers, everyone was worried sick.

To add insult to injury, the PM declared 2017, the year of Canada’s 150th anniversary since Confederation, to be the year that we should all enjoy the greatness of Canada together. Funnily enough, he wasn’t even here. Canada’s Governor General, David Johnston, presided over Parliament Hill’s New Year’s Eve party, which featured music, fireworks, and frivolity. Ironically enough, Johnston even tweeted: “Where better to kick off #Canada150 than on Parliament Hill?”

Where exactly had Trudeau been? David Akin, the intrepid reporter who broke the story about Trudeau’s Christmas whereabouts revealed that Canada’s PM and his family spent the holiday with the Aga Khan, the billionaire spiritual leader of Ismaili Muslims, at his private island in the Bahamas.

Not only is the Aga Khan a Muslim spiritual leader, he’s also the director and chairman of an organization that is registered under federal law to lobby the government for foreign aid shekels. Federal laws set out strict policy rules regarding interactions between public office holders and lobbyists. According to one lawyer, there is no interpretation of the Conflict of interest Act that would permit the Trudeaus to accept flights on the Khan’s private helicopter.

On Thursday 12 January 2017, Justin Trudeau’s office finally admitted that he was a passenger aboard the Aga Khan’s private helicopter whilst Island hopping around the Bahamas. Trudeau was accompanied by Seamus O’Regan, the Member of Parliament (MP) for St. John’s South — Mount Pearl (a federal riding in Newfoundland’s provincial capital); O’Regan’s husband (yes, you read that right, husband) Stelios (a.k.a. Steve) Doussis; and Liberal party president Anna Gainey along with her husband, Tom Pitfield.

British Drug Rationing a Bitter Pill to Swallow

Need a new drug to treat a serious health condition? If you live in Great Britain, you may be out of luck. Under a new policy set to take effect in April, that nation’s single-payer healthcare agency will begin rationing new drugs that bureaucrats deem too expensive, a move that could affect a fifth of all new drugs and the thousands of patients who need them.

According to the Times of London, under current policy, most new drugs are made available to National Health Service (NHS) patients if the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) approves them. Under the new policy, however, the NHS “will be able to delay making [approved drugs] available or restrict who is eligible for treatment if the total cost to the health service is more than” about $25 million per year. “Analysis by NICE and the pharmaceutical industry shows that 20 per cent of newly approved drugs — expected to number about 12 a year — will fall into that category.”

Richard Torbett of the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry told the Times that “many patients could face delays of up to four years in getting common medicines.”

Iceland Knows How to Stop Teen Substance Abuse

(MosaicScience) It’s a little before three on a sunny Friday afternoon and Laugardalur Park, near central Reykjavik, looks practically deserted. There’s an occasional adult with a pushchair, but the park’s surrounded by apartment blocks and houses, and school’s out — so where are all the kids?

Walking with me are Gudberg Jónsson, a local psychologist, and Harvey Milkman, an American psychology professor who teaches for part of the year at Reykjavik University. Twenty years ago, says Gudberg, Icelandic teens were among the heaviest-drinking youths in Europe. “You couldn’t walk the streets in downtown Reykjavik on a Friday night because it felt unsafe,” adds Milkman. “There were hordes of teenagers getting in-your-face drunk.”

We approach a large building. “And here we have the indoor skating,” says Gudberg.

A couple of minutes ago, we passed two halls dedicated to badminton and ping pong. Here in the park, there’s also an athletics track, a geothermally heated swimming pool and — at last — some visible kids, excitedly playing football on an artificial pitch.

Young people aren’t hanging out in the park right now, Gudberg explains, because they’re in after-school classes in these facilities, or in clubs for music, dance or art. Or they might be on outings with their parents.

On January 17, 2016 Macedonian Newspaper Republika reported the January 16th launch of a domestic initiative to investigate and resist the influence of George Soros aligned NGOs and political parties within Macedonia. Co-founder Nikola Srbov cited the “take over of the entire civil sector and its abuse and instrumentalization to meet the goals of one political party” as the reason for the movement’s founding. Srbov was quoted by Czech publication Svobodné Noviny as calling for all “freedom-minded citizens” regardless of ethical origin or religion to join in “the fight against the civilian sector, which is designed and managed by George Soros.”

As well as their future plans to become holy warriors for Islam, these young 5th graders all have one thing in common; they are pupils at UN facility schools.

Chinese, Germans Bidding to Turn Abandoned Nuclear Wasteland of Chernobyl Into Solar Farm

For 30 years the 1,000 square miles surrounding the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia have lay largely inhabited and remains one of the most radioactively contaminated areas in the world. But that’s all about to change if a group of German and Chinese investors have their way about it. According to Ukraine’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ostap Semerak, 39 separate entities have applied for permission to install 2 gigawatts worth solar panels on the land that would otherwise lie unutilized for centuries to come. Per Bloomberg:

China to Develop Prototype Super, Super Computer in 2017

China plans to develop a prototype exascale computer by the end of the year, state media said Tuesday, as it seeks to win a global race to be the first to build a machine capable of a billion, billion calculations per second.

If successful, the achievement would cement its place as a leading power in the world of supercomputing.

The Asian giant built the world’s fastest supercomputer, the Sunway TaihuLight machine, in June last year, which was twice as fast as the previous number one.

It used only locally made microchips, making it the first time a country has taken the top spot without using US technology.

    • Champion of Change

The March organizer, Linda Sarsour, was at one moment called Champion of Change by Obama, so that should tell you all you need to know about Obama’s “Change”.

“Head of #WomensMarch is mad that 22 states don’t allow Sharia Law which is totally against women’s rights. Take a moment to think about it.”

      • “After researching Sarsour over the past few months, I’ve come to the conclusion that she will run for office one day.”

        – Higly likely.

With the backing that she is having there is no reason she is not headed for office. Unless circumstances are getting seriously very different from those of today.

Let’s hope for the best. We already in the new era! The Trump Era.

      • Couldn’t agree more, but what chance have we ‘extreme right wing radicals’ of achieving this nirvanic state when even other conservatives say we must be tolerant, and not offend the islamic snowflakes?

        • Peter, I believe the crux to abolishing Islam forever is in officially denouncing Islam as a religion that by Western standards fails every test as a religion.

A commission of enquiry, such as a Royal Commission, would undoubtedly and completely uncover Islam for what it is, a supremacist political ideology that ticks all the boxes on Western definition as a non-religion.

And all it will take is just one Western government to bring that declaration about and all other governments will soon follow.

          • I think that in addition, we must point out that there is no “radical islam”. There is only islam and terrorist acts are made by fundamentalists following the korans instructions. The words “radical islamists” must always be corrected with “fundamentalist moslems”. This is an important distinction and points directly to the koran as the problems source.

          • Nemesis, I agree it would probably only take one western govt., problem is none have the cojones to say it.

And Bert, (also in Canada) We on this site have been saying that for years, the problem is the world’s leaders don’t seem to be reading GoV–pity!

          • Peter, look up One Nation Australia website that has one of its goals as wanting a commission of inquiry into whether Islam is a ‘religion’ or an ideology.

This political party has nearly 3.5 million members, of which I am now one, in a population of 24 million which will give you an idea of how strong this party has now become.

  1. Swiss Teenager Saved by Heroic Trio After Being Sexually Assaulted in Train Station

    – What is going on now? There is no stopping the rapes of European women.

Referring to the massive mobilisation of Hollywood females, islamic strategists are stirring up hell blaming it all on the POTUS, blowing up locker room talk from years ago, so islamic rapes can keep going on unnoticed in near future? Manipulating simple minds in massive brainwash all over the world?

There really, are no limits to this madness from hell.

  2. On Trump’s firing of all foreign ambassadors: John Berry was hailed in our libertine Australian press as being of a gay persuasion as he took up residence in our federal capital city, Canberra, during 2013. Apparently, he was appointed by Obama simply on his sexual preference. The new Ambassador was accompanied by his ‘partner’ another male, as both took up residence in the American Embassy at a leafy Canberra suburb.

I am not permitted on this site to write exactly my feelings on that!

    • Frankly, I don’t care if it’s his private life.

Obviously, that shouldn’t be a factor in his appointment.

I see no more reasons for there to be a “gay rights” movement. Their stated goals have been achieved. Time to disband now.

    • I don’t care about him being gay, black, or whatever, but people shouldn’t be appointed for those reasons only indeed. And that’s too often the case.
      No more affirmative action please.

      • But what about that highest of ideals: Diversity? Do you not know that it is our strength?

        • And if that diversity idiom was really pressed for what it implies by those who actually know what it means, and is then recognized for the consequences of such lies, then there would be no diversity kambaya that now is encouragingly permeated throughout the intellectually disabled (AKA academics) and their houses of ‘education’ and so called, colleges of knowledge.

And one who maintains an open mind, must then come to the conclusion upon appraisal of all the self-evident truths that have been available to us for thousands of years that the questionable doctrine that is now preached does not benefit humanity in any way.

  3. “To normal Americans, some large number of Deplorables among them…”
    (From list of articles)

    – You just gotta love how Deplorables has become a term of honor

“Shane Bouvet, a 23-year-old single dad, was featured in a Washington Post story highlighting his visit to D.C. to support Donald Trump’s inauguration.”

    – Awesome! Another Highly Honorable Deplorable.

  4. I am remembering Joseph McCarthy as the hero he was. I read about him so many years ago and knew then he was a hero but that it would take years for the rest of the people to recognize it. He stood again communism when it was not popular to do so.

I am also in favor of teaching girls either ju-jitsu (as it used to be called) or other skills in turning a pushy man right on his backside, hopefully embarrassing him in the process. It is time for girls to stop being victims. In my day I carried a large hatpin, but never had to use it.

    • I hope you mean “pushy man” literally, not in the feminist sense of “loser who’s presumptuous enough to think he has a chance with me,” Maria. Also, what if the pushy (in whatever sense) man has those “skills”? Half the boys in any given 12th grade classroom can tickle Rhonda Rousey into submission (in the technical, jiu-jitsu sense, of course — she’d have to tap out). Wouldn’t it be more practical to teach nice BOYS those skills, so that they can use them to protect their women from nasty (“pushy”?) boys?

    • Once, on a former job, I met a “victim” of McCarthy.

My eventual reaction to this unrepentant Stalinist was to think: “If that’s who McCarthy was after, he was right!”

Seeing how much support this idiot had from other colleagues in the indoctrination centre (sometimes known as a university), I eventually started thinking that there was more to McCarthy than we had been told…

    • McCarthy was too obsessed with hounding people in the media and entertainment, who were exercising their right to free speech, rather than the real threat of communists in Government and the military, as Diana West has documented.

He also helped create a poisonous atmosphere of bullying and blackmail. Andre Previn, in “No Minor Chords”, his memoir of his time in Hollywood, recalls being accused by the editor of a private “red-baiting” magazine of giving benefit concerts for the Abraham Lincoln Brigade during the Spanish Civil War. Previn pointed out that in 1936 he was six years old and living in Berlin. His inquisitor was later sent to prison for blackmail.

      • Mark, at some point it has to be recognized by authority when ‘free speech’ becomes subversion. We all like to exercise our ‘free speech’ but we forget that sometimes, the exercise of such ‘free speech’ can have unforeseen or intended consequences, such as screaming ‘FIRE’ in a cinema.

If you appreciate what West has written you may also appreciate that McCarthy was being used by those with a political agenda to which McCarthy was not aware. I personally believe McCarthy was an American patriot who was, and as the times warranted, attempting to expose the subversion that Diana West has written on.

  5. Syrians in Syria, to France
    – Why did you side with the terrorists against us?

“The French government really did a very big mistake by siding with terrorists in Syria.”

“In this video Syrians express their anger and bewilderment at the role France has played in the war that ravaged their country.”

“..they want to establish Islamic emirates in Syria. How could they support it? This question has to be directed to the French president. He made a huge mistake, he sided with the party that destroyed Syria”

  6. Three teenage girls sexually assaulted by six …males
Police is not specifying any further.

Last night, in Norwegian village of 850 that opened their doors to 360 migrants
    850/360

    • Just read the article, disgusting but entirely typical of the ‘culture enrichers’.

So, 360 ‘migrants’ of 17-25 years, and as someone commented below the article, what would be the percentage of males 17-25 in the 850 villagers?

Which begs the question, is the Admin. in Oslo out to ruin the idyllic little town of Ølensvåg? It would almost seem so.

I must admit to being extremely disappointed by the girls in Oslo.

  7. I wouldn’t be surprised if France’s socialist party ended up with a muslim leader in order to try and gain the muslim parts of the population.

  8. It’s right to pull off all ambassadors. In Indonesia US embassy is not neutral. The TV plays a video promoting Islam. Not only pulling off the ambassadors, Trump administration must check what’s played inside embassies. Obama is truly a mess.

    • First drain the swamp of the entrenched, “entitled” bureaucrats; until then, no real change will be forthcoming.
