26 Incredible Facts About the Economy That Every American Should Know Before the Trump-Clinton Debate

Are you ready for the most anticipated presidential debate in decades? It is being projected that Monday’s debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could potentially break the all-time record of 80 million viewers that watched Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter debate back in 1980. Many Americans probably hope to see some personal fireworks between the two nominees, but the two candidates have both expressed a desire to focus on substantive issues. There will likely be quite a few questions about the economy, and without a doubt this is an area where Trump and Clinton have some very sharp differences. The mainstream media would have us believe that the U.S. economy is in pretty good shape, and if that was true that would seem to favor Clinton. But is it actually true? The following are 26 incredible facts about the economy that every American should know for the Trump-Clinton debate…

#1 When Barack Obama entered the White House, the U.S. government was 10.6 trillion dollars in debt. Today, the U.S. government is 19.5 trillion dollars in debt, and Obama still has several months to go until the end of his second term. That means that an average of more than 1.1 trillion dollars will be added to the national debt during his presidency. We are stealing a tremendous amount of consumption from the future to make the economy look much, much better than it otherwise would be, and we are systematically destroying the future in the process.

#2 As Obama prepares to leave office, the rate at which we are adding to the national debt is actually increasing. During the fiscal year that is just ending, the U.S. government has added another 1.36 trillion dollars to the national debt.

#3 It isn’t just the federal government that is on a massive debt binge. Total U.S. corporate debt has nearly doubled since the end of 2007.

#4 Default rates on U.S. corporate debt are the highest that they have been since the last financial crisis.

#5 Corporate profits have fallen for five quarters in a row, and it is being projected that it will be six in a row once the final numbers for the third quarter come in.

#6 During the month of August, commercial bankruptcy filings were up 29 percent compared to the same period a year ago.

#7 The rate of new business formation in the United States dropped dramatically during the last recession and has hovered at that new lower level ever since.

#8 The Wall Street Journal says that this is the weakest “economic recovery” since 1949.

#9 Barack Obama is on track to be the only president in all of U.S. history to never have a single year when the U.S. economy grew by at least 3 percent.

Turkey Lashes Out at Moody’s After Downgrade to “Junk” Sends Turkish Assets Plunging

Late on Friday, rating agency Moody’s cut Turkey’s sovereign credit rating to Ba1 or “junk” from Baa3, citing worries about the rule of law after an attempted coup and risks from a slowing economy, in a move that could deter billions of dollars of investment. “The drivers of the downgrade are … the increase in the risks related to the country’s sizeable external funding requirements (and) the weakening in previously supportive credit fundamentals, particularly growth and institutional strength,” Moody’s said in an e-mailed statement. “The government’s response to the unsuccessful coup attempt raises further concerns regarding the predictability and effectiveness of government policy and the rule of law.”

4 Connected in Fullerton Triple Homicide Have Ties to Furry Community

FULLERTON — Four people associated with Saturday’s triple homicide in Fullerton were involved in the Southern California furry community, a group of fans who congregate online, at meet-ups and at conventions to admire and dress up like animals, a member said.

“A lot of people in our community were devastated,” said Christopher Parque-Johnson, 23, of Garden Grove, an artist, performer and videographer for the SoCal Furs, which has members from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. “I’ve been hearing from a lot of people. It bothered everybody.

“It makes no sense.”

Parque-Johnson led a group of furries, as they call themselves, to the site of the murders Sunday night. They laid roses, left cards and lit candles to honor victim Jennifer Yost, Parque-Johnson said, because she was a mother figure to the SoCal Furs. The two identified accused killers are also furries, as is Yost’s daughter Katlynn Goodwin Yost, Parque-Johnson said.

“All of them were always nice to everybody,” said Parque-Johnson, known in the furry community as Bandit, a raccoon inspired by the film “Over the Hedge.”

The Orange County District Attorney’s Office, as early as Tuesday, will determine whether to file murder charges against two men and a 17-year-old female accused in the triple homicide.

Christopher Yost, 34, his wife, Jennifer Yost, 39, and their friend Arthur Boucher, 28, were found dead in the Yost home in Fullerton on Saturday morning. Two of the couple’s daughters, ages 6 and 9, were home when police arrived. The younger girl alerted police by calling 911, saying their parents had died…

CNN Puts Words in Trump’s Mouth: Runs Headlines Saying He Wants “Racial” Profiling

GOP nominee never said vetting should be based on race

CNN has once again come under fire for manipulating the news to fit its own agenda, as the network ran headlines saying that GOP nominee Donald Trump called for “racial profiling” to combat terrorism.

Trump made several appearances Monday during which he called for increased vetting of those coming to the United States in order to weed out those who are seeking to commit acts of terrorism.

Documents: Mall Shooting Suspect Confesses to Slayings

MOUNT VERNON, Wash. (AP) — The young man accused of killing five people in a Washington state shopping mall before leading authorities on a nearly 24-hour manhunt has confessed to the slayings, according to court documents released Monday.

The documents filed in Skagit Court say Arcan Cetin told detectives who interviewed him that “he did bring the rifle into Macy’s and shot all 5 victims.”

The 20-year-old was arrested Saturday evening following the slayings at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, on Friday evening.

Cetin, who faces five charges of premeditated murder, will be making an initial court appearance late Monday morning. Authorities are asking that he be held on a $2 million bond.

Cetin was described by a neighbor as so “creepy, rude and obnoxious” that she kept a Taser by her front door. He also had a string of run-ins with the law in recent years, including charges he assaulted his stepfather.

As investigators tried to piece together information on Cetin, a picture emerged of a troubled young man. Court records show more than a half-dozen criminal cases in Island County alone since 2013.

Authorities said the gunman in the attack at the Cascade Mall opened fire in the department store’s cosmetics department Friday night, killing a man and four females ranging from a teenager to a senior citizen. The killer then fled.

Cetin said nothing and appeared “zombie-like” when he was taken into custody on a sidewalk outside his apartment complex some 30 miles away in Oak Harbor by a sheriff’s officer who recognized him as the suspect in the rampage, authorities said.

Cetin immigrated to the U.S. from Turkey and is a legal permanent resident, officials said. He is expected to make an initial court appearance Monday.

As the surrounding area absorbed news of the arrest, critical questions remained, including the gunman’s motive. The FBI said early Saturday that there was no indication the shooting was terrorism, but local authorities said later in the day that they were ruling nothing out…

Gunman Behind SW Houston Strip Mall Shootings Has Died, Police Say

Six people have been shot and injured by a shooter in southwest Houston Monday morning.

Police exchanged gunfire with the suspected shooter, who died at the scene. It appears that he was killed by a police weapon, said HPD Acting Police Chief Martha Montalvo.

Three victims have been transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital, one has been taken to Ben Taub General Hospital and two have been transported to Memorial Hermann — Texas Medical Center.

At a 9:15 a.m. press conference, Montalvo said the alleged shooter was a local lawyer and there were “questions” surrounding his law firm. Montalvo said once the suspect’s car was cleared, officers would conduct a search of both his apartment and social media accounts for clues regarding the shooting.

No further information was given about the suspected shooter and there was no indication that a second suspect was involved, Montalvo said. The FBI is assisting on the investigation…

Gunman Who Wounded 9 Was Wearing Nazi Paraphernalia, Sources Say

HOUSTON- The lawyer who carried out Monday morning’s shooting that wounded nine people was wearing what appeared to be Nazi paraphernalia, two law enforcement sources told Channel 2 Investigates’ Robert Arnold.

Reports of a man shooting randomly on Law Street, near a shopping center on the northwest corner of Weslayan and Bissonnet streets, first came in around 6:30 a.m.

Interim Houston police Chief Martha Montalvo said officers who went to the scene were able to quickly locate the gunman in the 4400 block of Law Street. Police said he was using a tree as cover.

She said the shooter immediately began firing at the officers. Nine officers exchanged gunfire with the suspect.

The gunman was found dead shortly after, she said. Nearly 75 shell casings were found at the scene, police said. No officers were injured.

“It’s my understanding that he was neutralized by police,” Montalvo said.

Police said the suspect had two weapons, a .45 semi-automatic handgun and a .45 semi-automatic Thompson Carbine, while standing near his car. Both guns were purchased legally in 2009 and 2011.

Police estimate around 2,500 rounds of live ammunition were found inside his vehicle.

Law enforcement sources said the shooter was wearing what appeared to be an antique German uniform with swastikas on it…

The Election and the Future of America

The upcoming Presidential election is far more than competition between two different candidates. This election represents two different paths for America based upon two different ideas about our country, and these ideas have profound consequences for the future of our nation.

First, we have the essential problem and that is America is no longer the land of the American Dream with unprecedented economic opportunity and unique freedoms, although up until relatively recently it has been one of the he most unique nations in the history of Mankind. Up until the last two decades it has been the most prosperous nation on planet Earth, with the largest middle class in the history of Mankind and a relatively prosperous working class. Through its unique Declaration of Independence and Constitution and Bill of Rights America provided more freedom to more people than any other nation. The promise and reality of the American Dream acted as a light to the nations.

But today the American Dream is dying; the middle class and working class are struggling to make ends meet. The globalist elite and their multinational corporations control both the Republican and Democratic elite establishments, which have enacted numerous trade treaties which have caused an exodus of higher paying jobs and manufacturing to leave America. It is not that America should retreat into isolationism, but globalism has destroyed the wealth of the average American while making the 1% elite richer than they have been at any time in history…

One of the biggest problems in America today is our educational system, which, from grade school through the university level teaches an illusory view of history based on historical revisionism, political correctness, and the deliberate dumbing down of our children and young adults through things like Common Core and the suppression of the right side of the brain, where the ability to see the big picture, analyze, create, and think outside of the box comes from, in order to create compliant, programmed and non-thinking individuals who will not ask real questions. The Frankfurt School in Germany developed this form of education, which is really all about indoctrination, in the 1930s when its professors designed a non-violent communist revolutionary strategy that would transform America into a Marxist State through political correctness, historical revisionism, and by introducing Marxist principles through the school systems. From the beginning this plan by the intellectuals of the Frankfurt School was designed to destroy the family, Christianity, morality, and patriotism, and indoctrinate students into hating America in an effort to destroy capitalism and the Judeo-Christian foundation upon which America was built. However, the very things that the Frankfurt School wanted to destroy are the very things which made America great.

The endgame of the indoctrination of the Frankfurt School in America’s schools was to replace the family, Christianity, patriotism, and capitalism with Marxism, which teaches that the individual must be replaced by the collective of the State and ruled by a top-down centralized government which controls all things. In Marxism the family unit is perceived as capitalist oppression of women, etc. and the “mythology” of God is to be replaced by the communist state.

The FBI Investigation of EmailGate Was a Sham

NSA Analyst: We now have incontrovertible proof the Bureau never had any intention of prosecuting Hillary Clinton

From the moment the EmailGate scandal went public more than a year ago, it was obvious that the Federal Bureau of Investigation never had much enthusiasm for prosecuting Hillary Clinton or her friends. Under President Obama, the FBI grew so politicized that it became impossible for the Bureau to do its job — at least where high-ranking Democrats are concerned.

Water Grabs in Canada: Nestlé Outbids Another Town for Control of Local Water Supply

Council of Canadians launches new Boycott Nestlé campaign in response to company’s continued water grabs

Corporate giant Nestlé continued its privatization creep on Thursday as it won approval to take over another Canadian community’s water supply, claiming it needed the well to ensure “future business growth.”

Nestlé purchased the well near Elora, Ontario from Middlebrook Water Company last month after making a conditional offer in 2015, the Canadian Press reports.

In August, the Township of Centre Wellington made an offer to purchase the Middlebrook well site to protect access to the water for the community. Consequently, the multinational-which claimed it had no idea the community was its competitor-waived all its conditions and matched the township’s offer in order to snag the well for itself.

Moreover, Nestlé has stated that the Middlebrook site will only be a backup for its other nearby well and bottling plant in Aberfoyle, where the corporation already draws up to 3.6 million liters (roughly 951,000 gallons) of water a day. The company reportedly plans to extract as much as 1.6 million liters (almost 423,000 gallons) a day from Middlebrook to be transported to its bottling facility.

All this comes as parts of southern Ontario and British Columbia face severe drought conditions amid dwindling water supplies and Nestlé pushes to renew its permits for its Aberfoyle plant, the advocacy group Council of Canadians warned.

Migrants Are Racist to Blonde Women, Swedish Ethics Professor Says

Professor of Ethics Ann Heberlein has argued that blonde people in Sweden are subjected to racist abuse and violence from “people with a non-European appearance”.

Ms. Heberlein, who appears regularly on Swedish Radio’s “Thoughts for the Day” and “Philosophical Room”, says blonde and Swedish victims of this racism choose to stay silent because “anti-racist” left wingers say that as a “privileged” group, ethnic Swedes have no right to complain.

The professor at Lund University describes the racist abuse hurled at white women in Sweden, with phrases like “Svenne (meaning ethnic Swede) whore” and “bloody racist whore” shouted at them by people with migrant backgrounds.

Ms. Heberlein notes that when Swedes answer back to these “unwelcome overtures”, they’re met with further “abusive epithets and sometimes physical violence”.

The Experiment: Capitalism Versus Socialism

What if we could do the same with economic systems? We could take a country and destroy its political and economic fabric through, say, a natural disaster or widespread pestilence — or a war. War is the ultimate political and economic cleansing agent. Its full devastation can send a country back almost to the beginning of civilization.

We could then take this war-torn country and divide it into two parts. It would have similar people, similar climate, similar potential trading partners, similar geography — but one part is rebuilt using capitalism as its base, while the other rebuilds using socialism and its principles. We’d let the virtues of each system play out and see where these two new countries would be after, say, fifty years.

Don’t you wonder what the outcome might be? Well, as it turns out, we have already performed The Experiment. It’s post-war Germany.

Following the devastation of World War II, Germany was split into two parts. The German Federal Republic, or West Germany, was rebuilt in the image of the western allies and a capitalist legal-political-economic system. By contrast, the German Democratic Republic, or East Germany, was reconstructed using the socialist/communist principles championed by the Soviet Union. The Experiment pitted the market economy of the West against the command economy of the East.

Srdja Trifkovic, Historian, Foreign Policy Analyst at Chronicles Magazine, on Serbia’s “European Path”

(Translated from Serbian)

It is unfortunate that nothing has fundamentally changed in the attitude of the government of Serbia towards Brussels, some purely cosmetic rhetorical fireworks notwithstanding. The elusive “European path” is still its holy cow, even though the EU is in a deep existential crisis.

A sober and comprehensive analysis of Serbia’s foreign policy options would indicate a host of potential moves which would be in the national and state interest — and at variance with the dictates from the EU — which in the current geopolitical state of play would not cost much, because the ability of the Brussels machine to apply its usual carrot-and-stick strategy is now seriously diminished.

Specifically, it should be stated in the form of outright declaration that Serbia will NEVER join the sanctions against Russia — not only because there is no consensus over them within the EU (which is an important fact for diplomats), but primarily because they would be catastrophic for Serbian interests… not only economic, but primarily geostrategic and moral ones.

Recent insistance of a high-ranking German official visiting Belgrade on the inevitability of this move as the litmus test of Serbia’s fitness to endure in her foggy “European path” was truly scandalous. It was not given an adequate response, as if the left hand (foreign minister Dacic) was not synchronized with the right hand (prime minister Vucic).

Secondly, even at a minute before twelve, it is essential to demand renegotiation of the harmful and amateurishly negotiated Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU which allows sale of agricultural land to foreign entities. It is not necessary to reinvent the wheel, because all relevant opt-out clauses already exist in Hungary’s and Poland’s EU agreements (and both are members of the Union, rather than mere candidates). Legal precedents do exist, but political will is needed to use them. This is an existential issue…

US-Supported Terrorists Control Occupied Territories With Unspeakable Barbarism”

[WARNING: Disturbing Content.]

Jad Nasr lives in Syria. He’s 29, and he has a Master’s in English literature. He sometimes uses his considerable talents by serving as translator for high Syrian dignitaries, such as the Grand Mufti.

He also has the scar from a bullet wound in his chest, and he receives death threats. He explains that terrorists shot him because they didn’t want to hear the truth. Presumably, the terrorists prefer their own version of the “truth”, as dictated by Wahhabi — supporting al Jazeera and Safa TV… as well as all mainstream media messaging promulgated by the West.

Jad’s story is not pleasant, and it highlights what Syrians have to endure on a daily basis. He says that his brother was kidnapped last year, and that the terrorists tortured him and destroyed his knees. Now he can’t walk. He also told me that his cousin, who was serving in the Syrian Arab Army, lost his leg when Wahhabi suicide bombers attacked his military vehicle. Another cousin was kidnapped in 2012, and remains in captivity.

The terrorists have a talent for kidnapping. Nasr explained that in one operation, they used false flag tactics to capture tanks, and ultimately to capture thousands of Syrian soldiers at Douma, Syria.

The terrorists also like to showcase their defensive tactics. One of their favorites is to use captives as human shields. Nasr’s testimony and video evidence demonstrate kidnapped individuals being put in cages, and used as human shields in town squares. Needless to say, when the terrorists occupy towns or parts of towns and cities, they are necessarily using human captives as shields, and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) takes tremendous risks by fighting house to house, as they do.

Whereas the U.S, for example, carpet bombed Falluja in Iraq, the SAA, doesn’t have that “luxury” since it avoids killing Syrian civilians at all costs.

The terrorists control occupied territories with unspeakable barbarism. A witness to the massacre at Adra described the scene in these words:

The rebels began to attack the government centers, and attacked the police station-where all the policemen were killed after only a brief clash because of the large numbers of the attackers. They (the attackers) then headed to the checkpoint located on the edge of the city before moving to the clinic, where they slaughtered one from the medical staff and put his head in the popular market. They then dragged his body in front of townspeople who gathered to see what was happening. Bakery workers who resisted their machinery being taken away were roasted in their own oven. Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic Front fighters went from house to house with a list of names and none of those taken away then has been seen since.’

When the Syrian army would try to enter Adra the Jihadists would throw women and children from the 20,000 people it captured off the top floors in front of the army.”

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Haridwar | Sept 25, 2016:: Not in Bangladesh or in Pakistan… It is in the land of West Bengal which was created for the Bengali Hindus at the time of partition for their protection from the Muslim dominance. It is an unthinkable situation of Muslim appeasement and repression of Hindus now in West Bengal many ways including snatching their rights of religion. “You’re an Idiot & a Lunatic if You Question ‘Safe Spaces’ or ‘Microaggression’“ — President of Northwestern

Never mind that he’s talking about many who his university educated, including me. Any of you who question campus preoccupation with safe spaces, trigger warnings and microaggressions are idiots and lunatics. That’s what Northwestern University President Morton Schapiro told new students this past week in his welcoming address. Articles about his comments include those in CampusReform and The Daily Northwestern.

“Look for safe spaces,” Schapiro told the freshman, and he pledged that “if you can’t find them, we will help you find them.” Regarding traumatic ideas, Schapiro says, “If they say that…you shouldn’t be warned to prepare yourself psychologically for that, that somehow that’s coddling, those people are lunatics.”

  1. [Comment: Meanwhile in China, teachers are making sure their students are tops in science and mathematics. Insightful comment to the article by Chris Dakota “The safe space is to protect those who (((they))) have brainwashed, so that their programing remains intact.” ]

Is there any chance that we could pass up with the (((antisemitic))) tag?

Yes, I realise that I sound like someone who wants a “safe space”, but that’s not why I say it. What bothers me about antisemitic stuff isn’t so much the direct attack, but the fact that those who believe in antisemitic conspiracies as a result become blind to how the wool is being pulled over their eyes for REAL, and they’re failing to notice what’s actually going on, because they’re spending too much time worrying about The Joos.

    • There is indeed EVERY chance that we can dispense with those triple parentheses.

The Baron has automated all the features for the newsfeed. Given the number of them, such code terms will occasionally get by him. I edited that to remove the tags. I’ll ask him if he can build that feature into his program.

Thanks for calling it to our attention.

  2. Why would any intelligent person, with money to spend on a vacation, who is of any religion other than muslim, travel to any majority muslim country, and reasonably expect to not be killed, enslaved, or tortured? Maybe they aren’t so intelligent after all? Maybe they are just rich, stupid, and or, have no religion?
This will not end well for those who hold money as their religion.

    • Turkish hotel industry consists mostly of all inclusive eat-all-you-can unlimited booze hotels, which for the most time are dirt cheap by European (or Russian) standards. Neither rich nor intelligent people are consumers of those travel packs.

    • Not only that, sooner or later you have to eat—food prepared by moslems; who know the food is going to be eaten by kuffar?

Seriously, atrocities of this nature have happened many times in U.K.

    • Thinking about it too much and it can become absolutely terrifying. Muslims definitely have the west by the food chain. All they have to do is squeeze and move on to the next chain. With the Christian mentality I don’t see any way we can hope to survive.

  3. In the first story, there are apparently some words left out.
“When Barack Obama entered the White House, the U.S. government was 10.6 trillion dollars in debt. Today, the U.S. government is 19.5 trillion dollars in debt, and Obama still has several months to go until the end of his second term. That means that an average of more than 1.1 trillion dollars will be added to the national debt during his presidency.”
    should be:
“When Barack Obama entered the White House, the U.S. government was 10.6 trillion dollars in debt. Today, the U.S. government is 19.5 trillion dollars in debt, and Obama still has several months to go until the end of his second term. That means that an average of more than 1.1 trillion dollars will be added to the national debt during EACH YEAR OF his presidency.”

  4. Well my ignorance is showing. I didn’t realize that Hungary is in the EU — they should leave tout suite in my opinion.

The EU is today’s Hitler — dictatorial even more so. I’m sure it started out nice, but time has showed that the EU wants to dictate to all the countries. Why should any of the countries accept muslims if they don’t want to?

and btw, why aren’t the muslims being shipped back to their homes, especially if they cannot integrate, which it seems (from the news) that most of them can’t?

    Please riddle me that one.

  5. So this is how people went about their daily lives during the Nazi occupation of Paris. Meanwhile the few risked all in the social wilderness. Just axing.
