Mall Traffic is Expected to Decline Well Over 50%…
America’s most iconic retailers are closing stores, and it’s left many speculating about the future of shopping malls.
Macy’s recently announced it is closing 100 stores, following similar announcements from Sears, Gap, and Abercrombie & Fitch.
The decline in traffic has been stunning: In 2010, there were 35 million visits to malls, according to the real-estate research firm Cushman and Wakefield. By 2013, there were 17 million visits — a 50% decline.
Analysts expect upcoming data will show an even steeper drop in mall traffic.

President Obama met privately with Yellen in April of this year. It was their first private meeting together since November 2014 (the Congressional election in which the GOP took both houses of Congress).
President Barack Obama met with Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen on Monday to discuss the U.S. economy amid signs that growth may be slowing as consumers retreat from spending.
Ahead of the afternoon meeting, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest described Obama as “pleased” with Yellen, who he appointed to lead the Fed in 2014. It is the first time since November 2014 that the Fed chair has met with the president on her own. The meeting was closed to the news media.
The timing of these meetings is not coincidental. And if you think Obama and Yellen were discussing “signs that growth may be slowing” a mere 8 months before the former left office, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. The economy has been weak for EIGHT years. This is not a new issue.
The fact of the matter is Obama most likely gave Yellen her marching orders: hold the markets up until November.

Black Teen Assaults 5-Year-Old [White] Girl, School Defends it as Normal Behavior
Father: “I’m very upset, I’m mad”
A 17-year-old black teenager on probation assaulted a 5-year-old girl on a school bus, but the school’s superintendent later tried to defend the behavior as normal.
The girl’s father, Terry Peters, said he noticed a mark on his daughter’s face when he picked her up from the school bus last week.
“People came out and they began to state to me that she got slapped on the school bus,” said Peters told WAGT. “I’m very upset, I’m mad.”
Surveillance footage shows 17-year-old Tavon Walters reach over a bus seat and use another student’s hand to hit 5-year-old Jasmine Peters on the right side of her face.
“He had reached over that seat and he was telling another girl that ‘if you don’t hit her then I’m going to hit her for you,’“ said Peters.
However, Bamberg District superintendent Phyllis Schwarting appeared to defend the assault, remarking, “The behavior on the bus was not any more abnormal than most buses.”…
The school’s insistence that the assault was “not abnormal” and their attempts to absolve Walters of blame will play into charges by some that black-on-white violent assaults are being covered up in order to defend a leftist consensus that African-Americans are the victims of a racist white America.

Judge Orders State Dept to Release Hillary’s Security Training Records, Or be Deposed
A federal judge ordered the Department of State Wednesday to produce for The Daily Caller News Foundation the security training records of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her aide Huma Abedin within two weeks, or face direct deposition of multiple government officials.
“I’m sure you can appreciate Mr. Lee, there is a certain time sensitivity on this issue,” U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Leon told Department of Justice Attorney Jason Lee, representing the State Department. “We’re looking down the barrel of a presidential election from now in two months.”
Leon said TheDCNF is, “trying to get to the bottom of this, to what extent Secretary Clinton and probably her immediate staff received training. They’re trying to figure out was the training in writing or orally, (and) how was it done.”

Massive $16m Food Stamp Fraud Uncovered in Baltimore… Do You Notice a Pattern?
More than a dozen Baltimore-area retailers are accused of misusing food stamps and defrauding the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) of millions of dollars.
The indictments, announced Tuesday, come roughly three years after nine local retailers were charged in what prosecutors described as a “$7 million scheme” of trading food stamps for cash.

As a result of the investigation officials returned nine indictments charging 14 people for defrauding the federal food stamp program, with a total loss of more than $16 million, Rosenstein said.
All 14 defendants were arrested Tuesday morning. Law enforcement officers also executed 26 federal search warrants and seized 46 bank accounts.
“In this case some greedy and corrupt store owners traded EBT credits for cash instead of food,” Rosenstein said. “The store owner for example would give the customer $50 in cash and then would bill the Dept. of Agriculture $100. The store owner pockets the extra $50 and no food changes hands.”

Denmark: Suspected Shooter of 2 Officers & Civilian in Copenhagen Detained — Police
Two police officers and at least one civilian have been injured by gunfire in the self-proclaimed autonomous neighborhood of Christiania in Copenhagen, according to Danish police. The armed suspect behind the shooting was later arrested.
One police officer was shot in the leg, while another one suffered a head wound, police confirmed on Twitter.
One civilian was also hit in the thigh, authorities added, emphasizing that the person had not been injured as a result of police gunfire.
The civilian who was shot in the incident is of “foreign descent” police said, adding that the individual is in contact with police and has stated that he has no relatives in Denmark.

Thor Decimates: 323 Reindeer Killed in Lightning Storm in Norway
The Norwegian government says 323 reindeer were apparently struck by lightning last week and died.
The animals lived on a mountain plateau in central Norway called the Hardangervidda. The rugged alpine landscape is (usually) a good place for a reindeer — delicious lichens grow on exposed rocks, and the area is protected from development because it falls within a national park.
The Norwegian Nature Inspectorate wrote in a press release that officials discovered a field of carcasses on Friday while they were supervising hunters in the area.
The agency estimates about 2,000 reindeer live on the plateau each year. Now, about one-sixth of them are dead, including at least 70 calves.
“We’ve heard about animals being struck by lightning and killed, but I don’t remember hearing about lightning killing animals on this scale before,” Norwegian Nature Inspectorate spokesman Knut Nylend tells the Norwegian news outlet NTB, as cited by The Local.

North Korea Minister “Executed for Slouching”

North Korea has executed a vice-premier and banished two other top officials to rural areas for re-education, South Korean officials said Wednesday.
If confirmed, they would be the latest in a series of killings, purges and dismissals carried out since North Korean leader Kim Jong Un took power in late 2011.
Jeong Joon Hee, a spokesman for Seoul’s Unification Ministry, told reporters Wednesday that Kim Yong Jin, a vice-premier on education affairs in North Korea’s cabinet, had been executed. Jeong gave no further details, including why and when his ministry believes he was executed and how it obtained the information.
But a South Korean official, speaking on condition of anonymity citing office rules, said Kim was executed by firing squad in July for unspecified anti-revolutionary and factional acts. The South Korean national news agency, Yonhap, citing an anonymous government source, reported that the deputy premier had been arrested for sitting in a “disrespectful” posture during a meeting led by Kim Jong Un.

Kristen Welker informed viewers of the NBC Nightly News that an “undocumented worker” was at fault in a terrible bus crash in Louisiana on August 28 that killed two people and injured 41 others. It is typical of the media to use that phrase when referring to illegal aliens. It is how the media try to condition people to accept their presence in the United States. After all, if these people are “workers,” they can’t be such terrible people. On the other hand, the word “alien” implies something foreign to the United States.
The Breitbart website, under fire from the liberal media and Hillary Clinton, was accurate, noting that “illegal alien” Denis Yasmir Amaya Rodriguez drove the private rental bus that crashed into a fire truck, two other vehicles and three firefighters.
By using the phrase “undocumented workers” over and over again, the media think that people will gradually change their views about the invasion of the United States through our southern border and become more accepting of the foreigners on American soil. This is how liberal brainwashing is designed to work over time.
The problem for the media is that, in this case, the terrible crash involved the deaths of two people and injuries to 41 others. Even using the sanitized term “undocumented worker” can’t paper over the serious nature of what happened.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican immigration authorities say 424 migrants from African countries arrived at the southern state of Chiapas over two days last week.
