EU Financial Nightmare: Italy and France Growth at Zero as Britain’s Economy Booms

ECONOMIC growth in Italy and France completely stalled during the second quarter, as the eurozone financial woes escalated.

Germany also slowed to just 0.4 per cent, from 0.7 per cent in the first three months of the year, according to the OECD.

By contrast booming Britain was confirmed as the fast growing G7 country between April and July, according to the Paris-based organisation.

The UK’s 0.6 per cent growth was more than double the 0.3 per cent measured in the US.

Britain also had the highest annual growth 2.2 per cent recorded the highest annual growth rate

Venezuela’s Inflation Rate Now Approaching Lunacy Levels

Venezuela’s inflation rate is traveling at ludicrous speed. Colombia has been unable to help, despite allowing for Venezuelans to come into the country’s supermarkets in droves. Venezuela, led by Nicolas Maduro, is the region’s only failed state.

There has been zero relief on food inflation thanks to the inflow of goods likely being resold at a premium, and surely unable to meet domestic demand. In one month, food prices in Venezuela rose 30% with annualized inflation now at 773% year-over year ending July. It’s official, we are now approaching four-digit hyper-inflation within the next few months.

76-Year-Old Veteran Kills Himself in Va Parking Lot After Being Denied Treatment

A 76-year-old military veteran killed himself outside a Long Island Veteran Affairs facility Sunday after being denied treatment. He was reportedly seeking help for mental health issues at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center but was turned away, an unfortunately common experience plaguing veterans seeking healthcare in recent years.

According to the New York Times, two people connected to the hospital spoke about the incident on the condition of anonymity. They explained “he had been frustrated that he was unable to see an emergency-room physician for reasons related to his mental health,” the Times reported.

“He went to the E.R. and was denied service,” one anonymous source said. “And then he went to his car and shot himself.”

Arrest Warrant Issued for District Attorney Involved in DEA’s California Wiretap Warrant Mill

Wiretap applications’ reach frequently exceeded their jurisdictional grasp…

Former Riverside District Attorney Paul Zellerbach is in trouble, as Brad Heath and Brett Kelman report for The Desert Sun.

A judge issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for former Riverside County District Attorney Paul Zellerbach after he failed to appear at a court hearing to answer questions about an eavesdropping operation so vast it once accounted for nearly a fifth of all U.S. wiretaps.

Caroline Glick: Trump and the American Dream

According to most polls taken since last month’s party conventions, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton enjoys an insurmountable lead over Republican nominee Donald Trump. Consequently, a number of commentators on both sides of the partisan divide have declared the race over. Clinton, they say, has won.

There are several problems with this conclusion.

First of all, the “official campaign,” won’t begin until September 26, when Clinton and Trump face off in their first presidential debate. Clinton is not a stellar debater and Trump, a seasoned entertainer excels in these formats.

Second, recent polls indicate that Trump is closing the gap. Whereas until this past week Clinton enjoyed a 6-8 point lead in the polls, in two polls taken this week, her lead had contracted to a mere 1-3 points.

Third, it is quite possible that Clinton’s problems have only begun. Her peak popularity may be behind her…

Facebook Tracks Your Political Ideology: Find Out How They View You

Hidden setting shows if social media sites views you as conservative, liberal or moderate

Facebook users can now learn how the social media website labels them politically by following a few simple steps.

As recently noted by New York Times writer Jeremy B. Merrill, “You may think you are discreet about your political views. But Facebook, the world’s largest social media network, has come up with its own determination of your political leanings.”

While logged into your Facebook account, preferably on a desktop computer, head over to facebook.com/ad/preferences and locate the “Interests” section.

Next, find the “Lifestyle and Culture” link — which may be under the “More” tab on the far right — and locate the box that says “US Politics.” If you can not find it, click the “See more” button at the bottom of the category boxes until it appears.

There you will find whether Facebook, based on your activity, friends and likes, believes you are a conservative, liberal or moderate.

Fractional Dead Men Voting Multiple Times in Many States: “it’s Not Who Wins the Ballots, But Those Who Count the Ballots That Decides an Election”

In the 2012 presidential elections, almost 2.8 million individuals were registered to vote in more than one state, and 1.8 million registered voters at the time of the election were actually dead. These figures came from the Pew Center on the States study entitled “Inaccurate, Costly, and Inefficient: Evidence that America’s Voter Registration System Needs an Upgrade” (2012). These “glitches” were not removed from the system due to the Obama Department of Justice suspending the execution and enforcement of federal law in relation to the regulations governing elections.

The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) of 1993, 52 USC is the law we’re examining here, specifically Section 8 that is specifically designed to promote honest and fair voting in the elections. Section 8 is a requirement for the states. They are to do the following in accordance with the law:

Juanita Broaddrick Fears for Her Life: ‘I Don’t Feel Safe Anymore’

Bill Clinton rape accuser Juanita Broaddrick says she is selling her house because she fears for her life.

“I have my home up for sale now because I live alone in a huge home on 23 acres. It’s just an absolutely gorgeous place,” Broaddrick says.

“I’ve loved it all these years but I just don’t feel safe anymore.”

Broaddrick says she will be building a home on her son’s property.

She adds she will fear for her life even more if Hillary Clinton becomes president.

Judge Throws Cancer Patient in “Modern-Day Debtors’ Prison” Over Unpaid Bills

A judge in Sherwood, Arkansas, running his own ‘debtors’ prison,’sentenced a 44-year-old cancer patient to 90 days in jail — not for a violent crime, drunk driving, or possession of substances the state deems illegal — but because he owed the court money.

Lee Robertson began chemotherapy in 2009 to battle pancreatic cancer which has left him physically incapable of holding a job. Over a two-week period, Robertson wrote a series of bad checks for small amounts, ranging from $5 to $41, for which he eventually owed a few stores about $200 a piece.

Eventually, the debts and arrests piled up, and last month, Robertson received the 90-day sentence from Sherwood District Court Judge Milas “Butch” Hale — for owing the court $3,054.51 — hardly a fortune by any stretch of the imagination, but clearly an unworkable burden for now-jobless cancer patient.

Now, Robertson has joined a class-action federal civil rights lawsuit filed by the Arkansas Civil Liberties Union and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law, which alleges the city of Sherwood created a “modern-day debtors’ prison” — and judging by the city’s treatment of those unable to pay their debts, the description is all-too apt.

The Beast-Radosh Continuum

by Diana West

Earlier this week, the Daily Beast published a piece by serial liar, disinformation artist, mixer-upper and Hillary-Clinton-supporter Ron Radosh. (I will resist noting that they deserve each other, but they do.) It is called: “Steve Bannon, Trump’s Top Guy, Told Me He Was a ‘Leninist,’ Who ‘Wants to Destroy the State.”

According to the laws of punctuation, the quotation marks around ‘Leninist’ and ‘Wants to Destroy the State’ indicate that these words are actual quotations, but the whole “conversation” smells of a rat.

Why? For starters, Radosh — and for brevity’s sake, I’ll leave it at that for now.

But there’s more.

Radosh writes: “I met Steve Bannon at a book party held in his Capitol Hill townhouse in early 2014.” He goes on to peg the date to the week of a February 19, 2014 column and essay by Thomas Sowell.

That sure caught my attention. I happen to know that Radosh met Steve Bannon at a book party at that same Capitol Hill townhouse, which doubles as Breitbart’s Washington “embassy,” on November 12, 2013. I know this because Steve Bannon told me so shortly afterward. That November book party was for David Horowitz, then launching the first of a miraculously endless series of books featuring every word Horowitz ever wrote, possibly on the theory that if posterity measures by the inch, he’s immortal.

Believe it or not, Bannon invited me to attend the Horowitz party on the evening of November 12, 2013 — he thought it would be “fun.”…

Trump Temporarily Missing From Minnesota Ballot

Donald Trump’s name will appear on Minnesota ballot, a state official said, after its initial absence from the secretary of state’s website caused minor alarm in Minnesota GOP circles.

“We just received the last item,” said Ryan Furlong, communications director for the Minnesota Secretary of State, about Trump’s paperwork. “We were waiting for a pledge from one of the alternate electors. The filing is complete and the Republican ticket should be listed on our site shortly.” The initial absence of Trump’s name and that of his running mate Mike Pence had caused some concern that a mix-up could cause big headaches for the Republican nominee.

Trump Doubles Down: ‘Hillary is a Race Baiting Bigot’

“She lies, she smears, she paints decent Americans as racists”

Following a bizarre conspiracy laden speech by Hillary Clinton Thursday, during which she personally attacked Alex Jones and attempted to link the entire grass roots conservative media to racist hate groups, GOP nominee Donald Trump doubled down on his assertion that Hillary is a bigot, telling supporters that she is shamelessly playing the race card in an attempt to win votes.

Trump declared that Clinton is attempting to distract the American people away from her scandals and controversies by accusing all her detractors of being racists.

“She lies, she smears, she paints decent Americans as racists,” Trump said at a rally in New Hampshire on Thursday. “She bullies voters, who only want a better future and tries to intimidate them out of voting for change.”

Toronto Man: 35, Charged With Murder in Crossbow Shooting That Left Three Dead

The 35-year-old man charged in the gruesome crossbow killings in Scarborough, Ont., on Thursday was once identified by police as a serial bank robber known as Fake Beard Bandit.

On Friday morning, police charged Brett Ryan, 35, with three counts of first-degree murder.

He was scheduled to appear in a Scarborough court Friday morning.

The east-end bungalow is owned by William and Susan Ryan, according to property records, who bought the home in 2010.

Previous to 2010, the couple lived on Galaxy Blvd. in another Scarborough neighbourhood.

In June of 2008, the son became notorious along the street after he was charged with robbing 14 banks over the previous nine months and was identified by police as the Fake Beard Bandit.

Police arrested him as he entered a bank on Kingston Road wearing a fake beard and holding a can of pepper spray, according to reports at the time.

He was charged with 29 counts for weapons offences, robberies and wearing disguises during his alleged crimes.

The Globe and Mail has yet to determine the outcome of those charges.

The brazen midday crossbow attack in Toronto’s east end left three people dead, police said, in a bizarre case that began Thursday afternoon with a grisly suburban scene and continued with the evacuation of a downtown high-rise…

Beach Party Protest Against Burqini Ban Planned in Vienna

Vienna is to join London and Berlin in protesting against the introduction of a burqini ban on beaches in 30 seaside towns in France.

Organisers of the protest event in Vienna are inviting women and men to choose the bathing suit of their choice and join them on the Danube canal on Monday evening.

“The freedom for women to choose themselves what they want to wear, without state regulation, was an essential component in the history of women’s emancipation in Europe,” say organisers, writing on their Facebook page.

They go on to argue that it is absurd that in the 21st Century a state can dictate to women which outfits they can wearing on the street or when they go swimming.

EU is Finnished: Finland President Says Powerful Forces Are Eroding ‘Feeble’ Bloc

FINLAND’s president has launched an attack on the European Union’s habit of creating “self-inflicted” wounds as he warned of a “genuine threat” to the bloc’s survival following Brexit.

Sauli Niinistö, whose country is a member of both the EU and eurozone, insisted Britain would remain an “important partner for the EU and Finland” once the UK finally cuts ties with Brussels.

His comments represent a double boost for the UK’s hopes of extracting a favourable exit deal from the EU, after a top Belgian regional leader claimed the continuation of free trade between Britain and the bloc is of “mutual interest”. …

He said: “Powerful forces are now shaking up the EU. The sluggish global economy is making an impact.

“We, who have for so long enjoyed the benefits of globalisation, are now also seeing its darker side. Tougher economic competition is eroding our comparative advantages.

“The EU appears to have reached an impasse in many other respects. This impasse is largely self-inflicted.

International Policing Protocol: Don’t Link Terror Attacks to Islam or ISIS

Globalists use “Protocol 12” to cover up jihadist attacks in the West

The global public is unaware of the fact that many of their governments have either subscribed to or aligned themselves with international policing protocols that prevent their national and local law enforcement agencies from describing terrorist attacks committed by Islamist radicals as “Islamic State/ISIS-related” or “jihadist inspired.”

The Council of Europe’s Protocol No. 12 to the European Convention on Human Rights on combating racism established in 1994 the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI).

A majority of the Council of Europe’s 47 members have ratified Protocol 12, which is also open to signature and ratification of observers of the Council of Europe, including the United States, Canada, Vatican City, and Japan, and non-affiliates like Australia, South Africa, Argentina, Japan, and Mexico.

A number of non-Council members have ratified Council of Europe resolutions, including the United States, Canada, Vatican City, and Australia.

Protocol 12 has resulted in ECRI and the European Monitoring Center on Racism and Xenophobia applying pressure on international law enforcement agencies, such as the European Police Office (EUROPOL) and the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) adopting measures preventing them from referring to ISIL/jihadist terrorists as Muslims, jihadists, members of the Islamic State or Al Qaeda, or even as “terrorists” because of protocols and rules against stereotyping individuals based on their religion or race.

International policing protocols even inhibit law enforcement’s ability to refer to criminal suspects based upon their “physical appearance.” Physical descriptions are key to any investigation of crimes.

Nevertheless, physical descriptions that include the mufti often worn by Muslims, including burkas, niqabs, hijabs, jilbabs, chadors, abayas, shalwars, mundus, and dupattas, are frowned upon in police reports on terrorist acts, as are terms like “Muslim-looking” and “dark skinned.”

Protocol 12 has also resulted in police agencies around the world from describing attacks by jihadists as Islamic State-inspired or “terrorist-related.”

Instead, police routinely issue press statements calling jihadist perpetrators “mentally ill” or “lone wolves,” even though many had previously been the subjects of police criminal investigations and had extensive dossiers maintained on them.

Examples of jihadist terrorist attacks committed this month alone being downplayed by police as a result of Protocol 12:

According to a new report from German media, the Turkish intelligence service, known at MIT, has over 6,000 operatives in Germany and may play a part in the recent pro-Erdogan sentiment among the Turkish diaspora.

The MIT has even pressured German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere to act against supporters of Imam Fethullah Gülen, the man President Recep Tayyip Erdogan blames for being behind the failed coup last month. The MIT have allowed Erdogan to keep close ties to the Turkish community in Germany Kronen Zeitung reports.

Mozilla Breathes Petition-of-Fire at EU Copyright Laws

The Mozilla Foundation has decided the time is right to scorch the European Union’s copyright law, which it says “undermines innovation and creativity on the internet.”

Mozilla’s beef includes a lamentation of the EU’s lack of a universal fair use law, which it says means “In some parts of the EU, making a meme is technically unlawful.” It also says “It’s illegal to share a picture of the Eiffel Tower light display at night” and feels the copyright on the light display, and the fact that tourists don’t have the artists’ express permission to reproduce it, is absurd.

The organisation’s desired remedies suggest it may be aiming at matters beyond copyright, as it says reasons EU laws need to change include the following:

“Some people are calling for licensing fees and restrictions on internet companies for basic things like creating hyperlinks or uploading content. Others are calling for new laws that would mandate monitoring and filtering online. These changes would establish gatekeepers and barriers to entry online, and would risk undermining the internet as a platform for economic growth and free expression.

Poland Criticizes Germany’s ‘Self-Serving’ Foreign Policy

The Polish foreign minister has said that Germany all too often follows its own interests at the expense of its partners, as Chancellor Angela Merkel prepares to visit Warsaw.

“We often see that [Germany’s] intention is only follow its own goal,” Polish foreign minister Witold Waszczykowski said in an interview with DPA. “Of course every country has the right to pursue its own interests, but in some circumstances we’d expect a certain level of compromise.”

Merkel is set to arrive in Warsaw on Friday for talks with Prime Minister Beata Szydlo, as well as the heads of state of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

The quartet have had increasingly tense relations with Berlin since Germany took in hundreds of thousands of migrants last year and started pushing for an EU-wide quota system, whereby refugees would be re-distributed across the union.

Turkey Accused of ‘Systematic Spying’ In Austria

An Austrian politician has accused Turkish authorities of spying on people living in Austria who are opposed to the Turkish leader President Tayyip Erdogan.

It follows similar accusations made in recent days in Germany and the Netherlands regarding possible networks of thousands of Turkish spies in Europe.

The security spokesperson for Austria’s Green party, Peter Pilz, announced on Wednesday that “systematic spying” is being carried out of people living in Austria who are against the Turkish government.

Pilz claims information about opposition supporters is being gathered by organisations affiliated with the AKP, the ruling party in Turkey formerly led by Erdogan before he became president.

The Green politician spoke of “systematic spying on all people with Turkish, Kurdish and Alevi backgrounds who have not surrendered unconditionally to Erdogan”, although he did not provide detailed evidence.

Defense Official: Iran Confrontations With US Navy Up 50 Percent This Year

Dangerous confrontations between Iranian and American warships in the Persian Gulf are up more than 50 percent in 2016 compared with this time last year, according to a U.S. defense official — despite the highly touted nuclear accord, as well as a recent $1.7 billion U.S. payment to Tehran.

The latest incidents of provocative Iranian behavior flared in the Persian Gulf earlier this week, including one filmed by the U.S. Navy. The video showed four Iranian gunboats from its Revolutionary Guard Corps coming within 300 yards of USS Nitze, an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer.

The incident was part of a troubling pattern, according to stats shared with Fox News.

US Gifts Iran 1.3B as They Shout “Death to America”

Obama pays country who hates US and western values in general

Obama’s administration announced today it delivered a 1.3 billion dollar pay out to Iran, resolving a dispute over an undelivered military sale in 1979.

Obama has maintained the payment was not a ransom for 4 hostages Iran held, although their release coincided with the first 400 million dollar payment given to Iran in January. The 1.3 billion reflects an interest payment.

Why Did the Saudi Regime and Other Gulf Tyrannies Donate Millions to the Clinton Foundation?

“Tyrannical regimes such as the Saudis and Qataris jointly donated tens of millions of dollars”

AS THE NUMEROUS and obvious ethical conflicts surrounding the Clinton Foundation receive more media scrutiny, the tactic of Clinton-loyal journalists is to highlight the charitable work done by the foundation, and then insinuate — or even outright state — that anyone raising these questions is opposed to its charity. James Carville announced that those who criticize the foundation are “going to hell.” Other Clinton loyalists insinuated that Clinton Foundation critics are indifferent to the lives of HIV-positive babiesor are anti-gay bigots.

That the Clinton Foundation has done some good work is beyond dispute. But that fact has exactly nothing to do with the profound ethical problems and corruption threats raised by the way its funds have been raised. Hillary Clinton was America’s chief diplomat, and tyrannical regimes such as the Saudis and Qataris jointly donated tens of millions of dollars to an organization run by her family and operated in its name, one whose works has been a prominent feature of her public persona. That extremely valuable opportunity to curry favor with the Clintons, and to secure access to them, continues as she runs for president.

Anti-Islam Lawmaker Wilders Calls for Ban on Muslim Migrants

Anti-Islam Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders, whose Freedom Party has led opinion polls in the Netherlands for months, has published a one-page election manifesto calling for a ban on all asylum seekers and migrants from Islamic nations, and for the country to leave the European Union.

Hammering home themes that have made him one of this nation’s most popular and divisive politicians, Wilders also calls for banning the Quran and closing all mosques and Islamic schools.

Wilders’ manifesto was the first published by a major political party ahead of elections for the lower house of Dutch parliament which are due by March 15 next year.

His hard-line positions on Islam and the EU will likely make it difficult for him to form a majority coalition if he wins the election.

Donald Trump: No Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants “Unless People Leave the Country” First

Donald Trump again worked to clarify his position on immigration Thursday, telling CNN in an interview that there is “not a path to legalization” for illegal immigrants under his plan—but acknowledging in the same interview that it’s impossible to deport all of the approximately 11 million people in the country illegally at once.

“No, there’s not a path to legalization unless people leave the country, if they come back in and then they have to start paying taxes,” he told CNN’s Anderson Cooper in a pre-taped interview from Manchester, N.H. “But there is no path to legalization unless they leave the country and come back.”

However, he also admitted that he would first plan to deport the “bad dudes” who are in the country illegally — “probably millions … certainly hundreds of thousands,” he estimated — rather than seek to expel everyone who’s in the U.S. illegally.

“You know, it’s a process. You can’t take 11 [million] at one time and say, ‘Boom, you’re done,’“ Trump said, adding: “Nobody even knows it’s 11 [million], it could be 30 [million], it could be 5 [million].”

Even when pushed on the issue, Trump said he would “see what happens” before committing to deporting every single illegal immigrant.

“We’re going to see what happens once we strengthen up our border,” he said, noting that if he is president “we’re going to deport many people—many, many people.”…

Expert Says Smuggling is as High as Last Year in Austria

The gruesome discovery of 71 dead migrants in a truck in Austria last August shocked Europe and led countries to open their borders to a massive influx of people fleeing war and poverty, mainly from the Middle East.

But a year on, the mood in Europe has changed. Razor-wire fences have gone up, borders are firmly shut again, and the European Union has struck a controversial deal with Turkey to keep migrants from reaching Greece — the main entry point into the bloc, along with Italy.

While the measures have led to a sharp drop in arrivals, experts warn the crisis is far from over.

“In absolute terms, the number of people hoping to find asylum in Europe via one route or another is even higher than a year ago as a result of growing conflicts,” Gerald Tatzgern, the head of Austria’s anti-human trafficking force, told AFP.

Favourite to be Next Dutch PM Vows to Ban the Koran and Close All Mosques

Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch Freedom Party (PVV), called for the total “de-Islamification” in a controversial manifesto posted online.

The far-right MP, who has previously compared the Koran to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf, also vowed to put an end to immigration from Islamic countries.

He would also close all Islamic schools and asylum centres, and ban Muslim women from wearing the headscarf in public, if elected prime minister next year.

Mr Wilders unveiled the manifesto ahead of the Netherlands’ parliamentarian elections in March.

The PVV currently leads the pack in almost every opinion poll amid growing anger at the Dutch government’s handling of the refugee crisis.

It is on course to take 35 seats in the 150-seat Dutch Parliament, about 10 seats more than the ruling Liberal party, led by prime minister Mark Rutte.

Germany’s New Problem Border: Poland

The southern migratory route may be closed, but the eastern one is open.

EISENHÜTTENSTADT, Germany — Angela Merkel thought she had regained control over Germany’s borders. Turns out the problem might have just shifted.

The German chancellor’s decision to open up the country to refugees led to wave after wave arriving through the so-called Western Balkans route into the south of Germany. That route’s now all-but closed but official statistics, and local law enforcement, suggest Merkel now needs to look east, to the border with Poland, where the number of illegal crossings has skyrocketed. That is putting pressure on the police and raising concerns about radical Islamists slipping through the cracks.

“The security situation at the German—Polish border is serious,” said Ernst Walter, head of Germany’s federal police union.

Hungary Plans Second Fence on Serbian Border

Hungary will build a second fence on its Serbian border to block migrants from entering the country, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced Friday.

“Technical planning is under way to erect a more massive defense system next to the existing line of defense, which was built quickly [last year],” Orbán told public radio, Reuters reported.

The prime minister said Hungary had to prepare for the possible failure of the agreement between the European Union and Turkey, signed last March, which aimed to stem the flow of migrants entering Europe through the Balkan route.

“Then if it does not work with nice words, we will have to stop them with force, and we will do so,” Orbán said.

Hungary to Build Second Fence on Serbian Border to Keep Out Migrants

(REUTERS) — Hungary plans to build a second fence on its southern border with Serbia that would enable it to keep out any major new wave of migrants, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday.

Orban said the new barrier, to be built alongside the existing one, would strengthen defences to respond if Turkey’s policy on migration changed. If that happened, hundreds of thousands could appear at Hungary’s border, he told public radio.

Leaked Soros Strategy: ‘Globalization’ Will ‘Increase Migration Pressures’

George Soros’s Open Society Foundations is anticipating an increase in “migration pressures in the coming decades” due in part to “globalization,” according to a leaked memo outlining a proposed strategy for successfully influencing immigration policy.

The memo, which was published by “hacktivist” group DCLeaks, contains a proposed strategy for OSF’s International Migration Initiative, which aims to influence global immigration policy. The proposed strategy previews the organization’s work from 2016 to 2019.

“IMI’s work on migration is set against a volatile backdrop. More people than ever before are crossing borders in search of safety and a better life, while in nearly every region xenophobia, populism, and hostility towards migrants are on the rise,” notes the memo.

Sweden: Prosecutor Wants Asylum Stabber Convicted of Murder

The prosecutor is pushing for a murder conviction for a man who was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter after stabbing a worker to death at a home for young refugees in Sweden.

Alexandra Mezher, 22, was fatally stabbed while working alone at the accommodation centre in Mölndal, western Sweden, last January. When police arrived at the scene she had multiple knife wounds in her back and a fatal wound to the thigh which caused her to bleed out.

The perpetrator was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter and was sentenced to psychiatric care in a facility for offenders earlier this month, with a special review required for his discharge. If discharged the court also ordered that he be deported and banned from returning to Sweden until 2026.

The prosecutor appealed the sentence on Friday.

Trump’s Big Immigration Reversal Shaped by Christie, Giuliani Says

Donald Trump’s apparent pivot away from his calls for mass deportations of millions of undocumented immigrants is partially the result of prodding by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, according to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

And, Giuliani says, even more Christie-inspired changes to Trump’s immigration stance will be forthcoming, like his call for tracking immigrant visas like Fedex packages, and using the E-Verify system to reduce illegal labor.

In an interview with NJ Advance Media on Thursday, Giuliani, a top adviser to the Republican presidential nominee, said Trump’s recent reversal on immigration policy came after his inner circle for several weeks suggested a more nuanced, practical, and humane approach in dealing with the nation’s 11 million undocumented immigrants.

Asked if Christie was responsible for Trump’s softening approach to immigration, the former mayor responded: “The answer to that question is yes.”

Turkey Threatens to Scrap Refugee Deal, Again

Turkey said on Thursday (25 August) that EU accession remained its “strategic aim”, but threatened, once again, to scrap the migrant deal with the EU if it does not quickly get visa liberalisation.

The two-sided message came a day after EU enlargement commissioner Johannes Hahn asked Ankara to respect the rule of law in its post-putsch crackdown if it wanted to join the bloc.

EU-Turkey relations were centred on three issues: Turkey’s agreement to take back irregular migrants from Greece; the EU’s agreement to resettle refugees from Turkey; and the visa-free process.

‘We Want You Back!’ Eastern Europe Launches Mass Campaign for Migrants to Return From UK

‘We want you back!’ Eastern Europe launches mass campaign for migrants to return from UK Continued westward emigration has created a ‘brain drain’ in the east of the continent, which is suffering economically due to a lack of skilled workers and students. Now Latvia has launched a campaign to reverse the emigration tide, using as a slogan the 1969 classic , which includes the lyrics: “I was blind to let you go, I need one more chance”. Other countries in Eastern Europe have launched similar campaigns. Poland’s ‘Return’ campaign offers returning migrants help with housing, jobs and healthcare, while Romania has teamed up with businesses and universities, offering scholarships and employment opportunities. There are around 700,000 Polish-born migrants living in the UK, along with 80,000 Romanians, 115,000 Lithuanians and 65,000 Latvians…

Laid Up and Losing it

by Taki Theodoracopulos

Instead of immediately shutting down any mosque and jailing any imam who preaches violence against the host nation, we have “academics” and lefty hacks defending their liberties, liberties that would cost them their lives if practiced back home. Such are the joys of radical multiculturalism imposed on us while we slept. I remember going to visit Paul Johnson immediately following the fall of communism and we agreed that the left would never admit defeat but find another way to undermine our freedoms. Sure enough, that is when PC came around with a vengeance.

Hmmm, I wonder if that applies to women in Saudi Arabia? Are they free to choose without “state regulation”? I think not. But good on these European women rushing off to buy Burkinis. One day they will have to wear them under Sharia regulation.

  2. The EU is a Marxist trap. Good for jolly olde England and its escape. It saddens Soros but at least he has his Marxist Democrats in America.
