An Electronic Bracelet is no Impediment to Jihad

One of the mujahideen who slaughtered the priest in Normandy yesterday was a known terrorist who had been previously imprisoned, and then released with an electronic bracelet.

0:00   We have some information on one of the two assailants, who was visually recognized by the police
0:07   because obviously his parents live in this city.
0:12   His identity still has to be confirmed by his fingerprints;
0:17   but he has been recognized, and he had actually tried to go and fight jihad in 2015.
0:24   However, he was apprehended at the border by the Turkish authorities,
0:29   who then returned him to France. He was imprisoned in 2015,
0:33   and released wearing an electronic bracelet in March 2016.
0:40   The anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office appealed
0:43   the release with an electronic bracelet — to no avail.
