Gates of Vienna News Feed 4/19/2016

The two front-runners in this year’s presidential race won their respective primaries in New York State. Hillary Clinton beat out Bernie Sanders 58% to 42% in the Democrat primary, while Donald Trump took 60% in the Republican race, with John Kasich in second place and Ted Cruz coming in third.

In other news, Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz told Italy that Austria wouldn’t have to build a fence in the Brenner Pass if Italy would only control the flow of migrants across its border with Austria.

Corporations Are Defaulting on Their Debts Like it’s 2008 All Over Again

The Dow closed above 18,000 on Monday for the first time since July. Isn’t that great news? I truly wish that it was. If the Dow actually reflected economic reality, I could stop writing about “economic collapse” and start blogging about cats or football. Unfortunately, the stock market and the economy are moving in two completely different directions right now. Even as stock prices soar, big corporations are defaulting on their debts at a level that we have not seen since the last financial crisis. In fact, this wave of debt defaults have become so dramatic that even USA Today is reporting on it…

Get ready to step over some landmines, investors. The number of companies defaulting on their debt is hitting levels not seen since the financial crisis, and it’s not just a problem for bondholders.

So far this year, 46 companies have defaulted on their debt, the highest level since 2009, according to S&P Ratings Services. Five companies defaulted this week, based on the latest data available from S&P Ratings Services. That includes New Jersey-based specialty chemical company Vertellus Specialties and Ohio-based iron ore producer Cliffs Natural. Of the world’s defaults this year, 37 are of companies based in the U.S.

Meanwhile, coal producer Peabody Energy (BTU) and surfwear seller Pacific Sunwear (PSUN) this week filed plans for bankruptcy protection. Shares of Peabody have dropped 97% over the past year to $2 a share and Pacific Sunwear stock is off 98% to 4 cents a share.

A lot of big companies in this country have fallen on hard times, and it looks like bankruptcy attorneys are going to be absolutely swamped with work for the foreseeable future.

Intel Preps for Layoffs: Chipzilla Sharpens Axe for Deep Job Cuts

And it is all the fault of the soggy PC market

Job queues in Intel’s home state of Oregon are to swell in 2015 with Chipzilla steering thousands of workers to the chopping block.

So claimed local paper The Oregonian, where Chipzilla is headquartered, with the employee cull said to start after Intel reports its Q1 numbers next week.

According to the loquacious sources the paper quoted, some areas of the business could be hit by double digit percentage headcount reductions, with thousands tipped to leave by the end of the year, far outstripping the 1,100 laid off in July 2015.

The reason for the belt tightening exercise is the lacklustre demand for traditional PCs. All of the major analysts are forecasting smaller shipments this year, compared to last year.

Interesting Commentary From Ron Paul on Recent Obama-Yellen Meeting

Former Texas Republican Congressman and three-time presidential candidate Ron Paul did provide some very interesting commentary on the meeting. Here is a very intriguing excerpt from Dr. Paul’s analysis on the Obama-Yellen pow wow:

“The Fed can only keep the wolves at bay with promises of future rate increases for so long before its polices cause a major dollar crisis. However, raising rates could also cause major economic problems. Higher interest rates will hurt the millions of Americans struggling with student loan, credit card, and other forms of debt. Already over 40 percent of Americans who owe student loan debt are defaulting on their payments. If Federal Reserve policies increase the burden of student loan debt, the number of defaults will dramatically increase leading to a bursting of the student loan bubble.”

American Medical Association, Monsanto and Chemotherapy

Cancer affects one in three Americans, and soon to affect one out of every two men.

Incongruously, the American Medical Association dominates every insurance therapy in this country. It pushes three solutions: surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. It does not allow alternative therapies, whatsoever. Cancer patients and their insurance agencies pay $100,000,000,000 (billion) annually in the United States.

Out of that, over half of cancer patients still die while the ones that survive the brutality of the drug-live with altered minds, destroyed livers and reoccurrence of the disease.

But none of the big pharmaceutical companies ever mention nor do they promote any research on what’s causing cancer. Whether you watch television, radio or magazine advertisements, “Big Pharma” sells every kind of chemical drug to “mask” or “crush” the symptoms facing a victim. If you suffer a headache, Aleve, Motrin or Tylenol will set your mind free. If you face stomach problems, Larry the “Cable Guy” comedian drives a jet ski through a burning hoop to solve your problems with Prilosec-a dangerous chemical that David Muir reported on Friday, April 15, 2016.

Five years ago, all top networks reported on the liver damage of Aleve, Motrin and Tylenol. Nonetheless, their advertising executives created even more compelling ads to deflect any facts or consequences. If you look at Coca-Cola, Mountain Dew and Pepsi — -you think those drinks bring vitality to your body. But, once again, all major networks showed that those soda pops cause heart problems, cavities, diabetes and obesity.

Pop a Bayer aspirin daily to solve your heart disease. They never tell you that aspirin poisoning and aspirin-caused bleeding ulcers from the drug, affect tens of thousands of Americans.

As to gobbling all those poisons, the public doesn’t blink! It keeps inhaling those products. It pops those pills. It suffers the consequences. I personally witness mothers feeding their babies Coca-Cola via bottles while shopping in grocery stores. Schools promote Coke, Mountain Dew and Pepsi caffeine addiction by offering dispensing machines in the halls. Why? Financial gain! Students: collateral damage.

Each year, with the auspices of the Federal Drug Administration, medical doctors prescribe thousands of chemical cocktails to patients. Each year, 100,000 Americans die from adverse reactions to those drugs. Does the FDA stop the poisoning of the public? Not a chance! Why? Profit for shareholders at Bayer, BASF and other big pharmaceutical companies.

Banning Cars From City Centres Creates More Problems Than it Solves

No, they’re not talking about reducing violent crime, as many of them reside in affluent neighborhoods.

What they want to take city streets back from is cars, which they see as a scourge that lowers cities’ quality of life. But the alternatives they propose are much more costly and provide far fewer benefits.

When mass transit use plummeted in the 1970s, anti-car activists succeeded in distorting government transportation funding to greatly advantage transit over highways. Today, even though more than 90 percent of households have cars, government spends 28 percent of total transportation funds on transit, with most of that money coming from state and federal fuel taxes, as well as local property taxes.

Yet, despite this government gravy train, transit’s market share is lower than it was in 1980, at less than 2 percent of trips made nationwide. Even when looking only at commuting trips, where trains and buses do best, transit accounts for less than 5 percent of the market share-one-fifth of its share of funding.

The myth that mass transit can serve most people does more than just waste taxpayer funds. Reducing access to cars contributes to unemployment and poverty.

In the New York metropolitan area, where 40 percent of all U.S. transit trips occur and where one-third of the residents take transit to work, only 15 percent of jobs are accessible by transit in less than an hour.

In contrast, New Yorkers with cars can access more than five times as many jobs in 60 minutes.

Get Ready for Hillary’s Gun Tax

Defenders of the Second Amendment should take note of a recent development in the far-flung Northern Mariana Islands, a Pacific archipelago that has the same “commonwealth” status as Puerto Rico.

Earlier this month, the governor of the US territory imposed a $1,000 handgun tax. Gov. Ralph DLG Torres said the law should serve as a “role model” for the states.

The gun tax idea was first proposed in 1993 by then First Lady Hillary Clinton in testimony before the tax-writing Senate Finance Committee.

Limbaugh: Republican Establishment Will Vote for Hillary Over Trump in Order to Keep Power

Rush Limbaugh says that instead of voting for Donald Trump, “The Republican establishment is prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton if it means holding onto their fiefdoms.”

During “The Rush Limbaugh Show” on Monday, Limbaugh said, “The Republican Party is prepared, if Ted Cruz gets the nomination, to not care whether he wins or loses.”

Reiterating a question that he received from a caller, Limbaugh said, “If the guy gets close to 1,237 but still has the majority in delegates, and they take the nomination away from him, we’re gonna lose the voters, right? What’s gonna happen? Folks — Patience. Patience, Rush. The Republican establishment is prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton if it means holding onto their fiefdoms.”

Later Limbaugh argued, “In fact, if Ted Cruz is the nominee and loses the general, the party will be happy. They’ll be able to blame the loss on conservatives and conservatism and be done — once and for all — with conservatism in the party.”

A new viral rap song that encourages the assassination of Donald Trump and calls for riots of he wins the presidency is being celebrated by the music media.

Entitled ‘F**k Donald Trump’, the track was performed live in front of 20,000 people at the Coachella music festival this past weekend by hip-hop artists YG and Nipsey Hussle.

The lyrics for the song openly invoke death threats against Trump and vows to stage violence if he takes the Oval Office.

Sanders Campaign Threatens Lawsuit Over Red ‘Bernie is My Comrade’ T-Shirts

“I recognize that his thing is election law, not trademark law.”

Attorneys who purport to work for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders want the Liberty Maniacs to stop calling Bernie “comrade” and to refrain from using his likeness in political parodies.

“Yesterday, April 14th, the Bernie Sanders campaign sent a cease and desist letter claiming that I am unlawfully selling parodies because they used the likeness of the Official Bernie Sanders for President logo in this shirt,” according to the Liberty Maniacs blog.

The site posted the letter, along with a response from attorney and “heroic scourge of copyright trolls across the internet” Paul Leavy, who wrote about the incident in his blog.

The controversial image shows Sanders’ bust profile along with several communist leaders and thinkers like Joseph Stalin, Chairman Mao Zedong, Karl Marx, and others. “Bernie is my comrade,” it reads.

Ted Cruz, Liar Liar, Pants on Fire

Remember the grammar school taunting rhyme, “Liar, Liar, pants on fire, nose is longer than a telephone wire?” It was taken from the Pinocchio story where when he lied, his nose grew longer. Well, it’s the same thing with Senator Ted Cruz, and I cannot even begin to cover all the lies this man has told since his political career started. We’ll only cover a few…

Ted Cruz tells his supporters he is against Common Core, and supports home-schooling. But his co-sponsorship of S306, “Enhancing Educational Opportunities for all Students Act” (ESEA), tells a very different story than what Cruz tells his supporters.

Ted Cruz sneaked an amendment into the bill. Cruz quietly attached: Section I, Title I Portability under ESEA. Cruz’s amendment is a tricky proposal for state standards and state testing. Ted Cruz’s misleading amendment really means that any Title I child who accepts funds to implement a federal education program is considered a recipient of federal financial assistance. Unfortunately, this also means that Ted Cruz’s amendment essentially mandates Common Core to any school who accepts the enrollment detailed in his sneaky amendment. [Link]

So, no, Cruz is not against Common Core, his bill actually puts Common Core into private, religious and home schools. Isn’t that wonderful? For the whole story, please read Anita Hoge’s excellent expose’s, Proof: Ted Cruz’s Promise to do Away With Common Core is A Total Lie, and How Ted Cruz is Sneaking Common Core on Homeschoolers.

Politifact has found only 8 of 47 (or 17 percent) of Ted Cruz’s statements to be deemed either “True” or “Mostly True.” The lone “True” statement pertained to toilet seats. Only 4 of the 7 “Mostly True” statements checked by Politifact happened since he became a senator. Of those 4, three of them, while technically factual based on his wording, were contextually inaccurate. To put it another way, Ted Cruz is one of the most dishonest politicians this country has ever seen.

White House Threatens to Veto 9/11 Lawsuit Bill

The White House and State Department are bluntly warning lawmakers not to proceed with the legislation.

A bipartisan bill to let families victimized by the 9/11 terrorist attacks sue Saudi Arabia ran into sharp setbacks Monday, as the White House threatened a veto and a GOP senator privately sought to block the measure.

The move comes as presidential candidates from both parties are seizing on the legislation to score points with New York voters ahead of Tuesday’s critical primary there.

And it has pit the likely next Senate Democratic leader, Chuck Schumer of New York, squarely against the Obama administration.

The White House and State Department are bluntly warning lawmakers not to proceed with the legislation over fears it could have dramatic ramifications for the United States and citizens living abroad to retaliatory lawsuits. The President lands in Riyadh Wednesday for talks with Saudi Arabia over ISIS and Iran at a time of strained relations between the countries, making the bill’s timing that much more sensitive.

Financial crisis left 50% of system ‘permanently damaged’

(ANSA) — Rome, April 18 — Business lobby Confindustria on Monday called for an “urgent” plan to reindustrialise Italy on the part of the Italian government.

“Industrial policy is essential to push the country towards new frontiers”, it said, stressing that the 2007-2008 financial crisis had caused “permanent damage” to 50% of the Italian economic system and a drop in GDP of 9.1%.

“We must bank on boosting manufacturing,” it said, saying that the sector was key to lifting the whole economy.

Italy: Offshore Drilling Referendum Promoters See Victory in Defeat

Some leaders slam Renzi for celebrating low voter turnout

(see related)(ANSA) — Rome, April 18 — Promoters of a failed anti-offshore drilling referendum said Monday they saw victory in defeat, because the fact that it was held at all has forced the government to change tack on its energy policy.

“There have been modifications to norms proposed by the government and approved by parliament,” said the Campania delegate for the Committee for a Yes Vote, Francesco Borrelli. “That is not demagoguery. Petroceltic and Shell have given up. The prospecting permits have been blocked. If that has happened I think it is a victory”. Borrelli said in spite of the fact just 31% of voters turned out — which means the referendum failed to muster the 50% plus one nationwide quorum — the referendum in itself “has laid a groove that will take Italy more and more towards renewables and further and further away from oil”.

Constitutional expert Enzo di Salvatore — who wrote the referendum question — said the vote was a success because without it, “we would have 27 ongoing procedures for concessions within 12 miles (of Italy’s coasts), we would have the Ombrina Mare well in front of Abruzzo. Instead, Shell and Petroceltic have left”.

“Thirteen million citizens have said they disagree with current energy policies,” said the Calabria committee delegate, Arturo Bova. “We will work together towards a new energy policy”.

Some leaders slammed Premier Matteo Renzi for celebrating the fact that two-thirds of voters stayed home.

CGIL union federation leader Susanna Camusso said this is wrong because voting legitimizes politics and the low turnout “did not measure up to the need for participation in this country”.

Tuscany Governor Enrico Rossi from the Renzi’s Democratic Party (PD) told ANSA he was against the referendum — which was called on request of nine Adriatic coastal regions plus environmentalist groups — but at the same time he slammed Renzi’s attacks on regions who wanted the referendum.

“Renzi thinks he can do without the regions,” Rossi said.

“I hope this attitude will change, because you can’t rule the country solely and entirely from the premier’s office”.

Opposition rightwing Northern League chief Matteo Salvini said “Renzi is laughing now, but he who laughs last laughs best”. On his popular blog, anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) chief Beppe Grillo thanked “more than 15 million voters who said YES to democracy and a future with clean seas, renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable tourism”.

BP Sondrio to take part in fund with 50 mln euros

(ANSA) — Milan, April 18 — The Italian global banking and financial services company UniCredit on Monday reached an agreement with Quaestio Capital Managament, on behalf of the Atlante fund, to sub-underwrite liabilities agreed by UniCredit as part of the BP Vicenza capital increase.

The Atlante fund is a new private fund to aid struggling Italian banks to help avert the risk of bail-ins and keep the national banking system stable. “Intervention by the fund, which will help meet minimum yield targets, is in line with institutional aims and subject to the attainment of the necessary authorizations and approvals by the authorities in question (the European Central Bank, the Italian central bank and the Italian Securities and Exchange Commission) and in compliance with the regulations of the fund itself,” according to a statement issued by the management company under Alessandro Penati, who signed the agreement with UniCredit on behalf of Atlante, as the latter is still being constituted. The agreement “foresees, in relation to the capital increase for BP Vicenza’s listing on the stock exchange, the sub-underwriting by the Atlante fund of the liabilities undertaken by UniCredit as guarantor of the capital increase.

BP Sondrio has meanwhile told Quaestio Capital Management that it will be taking part in the Atlante fund with a maximum of 50 million euros.

Pope Warns Against Being Misled by Fortune-Tellers

‘Follow Jesus and the path of the Beatitudes’

(ANSA) — Vatican City, April 18 — Pope Francis on Monday during Mass in the chapel of the Casa Santa Marta told his followers that one needs only to follow the path trod by the Beatitudes to live a religious life.

He warned against listening to fortune-tellers and delinquents. “Those who follow Jesus do nor err! ‘Oh, Father, yes, but things are difficult … So many times I do not see clearly what to do … I was told that there was a seer and I went there and I went there; I went to the [fortune teller], who turned the cards to me …’ If you do this, you do not follow Jesus. You follow another, who shows you another way, a different way.

Jesus shows the way forward: there is no other who can show the way.’ Jesus has warned us: ‘There will be others who will say the way of the Messiah is this, this, this [other way]: do not listen. Do not hear them. I am the way.’ Jesus is the door and also the path: if we follow Him we shall not go astray,” he said. Pope Francis then said that “you will find the voice of Jesus in the Beatitudes. Should someone make to teach you a way contrary to the Beatitudes, [know] that such a one is one who has entered through the window: it is not Jesus! Second: you would know the voice of Jesus? You may know it when that voice speaks of the works of mercy. For example, in chapter 25 of St Matthew: if someone tells you what Jesus says there, that is the voice of Jesus. Third: you may know it is the voice of Jesus when it teaches you to say ‘Father’, that is, when it teaches you to pray the Our Father.

The pope had made similar statements both on November 17, 2013, and on November 15, 2015.

White House Asks Taliban to Seek ‘Pathway to Peace’

The Obama administration called on Taliban terrorists to stop killing people and start working for peace.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Hours after the Taliban claimed responsibility for a terrorist attack in the Afghan capital of Kabul, the Obama administration called on the terrorist group to stop killing people and start working for peace, White House National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said in a statement on Tuesday.

“We remain committed to supporting the Afghan people and their government,” Price stated. “We also call on the Taliban to pursue a pathway of peace instead of continuing a military campaign responsible for the senseless deaths of Afghan civilians.”

On Tuesday, a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle and gunmen then who stormed the attacked site killing at least 28 people and wounding more than 300 others, according to media reports from the scene.

The Taliban later took credit for the attack.

The United Nations estimates that terrorists killed more than 3,500 civilians in 2015, while wounding more than 7,000.

Jeep Renegade Production Starts in China

‘Milestone in history of the brand, to foster global growth’

(ANSA) — Turin, April 18 — The first made-in-China Jeep Renegade came off the assembly line of the Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) factory on Monday in Guangzhou. Advance sales will begin in late April at the Beijing Car Show. Numerous government authorities and company managers attended the ceremony, including joint venture CEO Sergio Marchionne. The FCA called the launch “a significant milestone” for the company after the announcement and the starting of local production of the Jeep Cherokee at the GAC-FCA factory in Changsha on October 19. Local production of the Jeep Renegade is expected to spur further growth for the joint venture and increase the Jeep brand’s competitiveness in the off-road vehicle segment in China. The Guangzhou plant, built jointly by GAC and FCA, is located in the Panyu and Guangzhou district inside the GAC car production hub. It is able to produce 160,000 vehicles per year.

The GAC FCA Changsha plant is the first in China to adopt the exacting World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards. WCM is a methodology that focuses on reducing waste, increasing productivity and improving quality and safety in a systematic and organized way.

The advanced facilities are divided into four sections, along with a quality control unit. “GAC-FCA,” Zhang Fangyou, Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co Ltd chief, said, “is an excellent example of collaboration between China, the US and Italy.”

European Cultural Suicide Awards (Satire)

I was asked to report on the first “European Cultural Suicide Awards” ceremony, held at Schloss Wannsee near Berlin.

As you all know it has been a good year for those of us striving relentlessly to extinguish every remnant of the vile bourgeois and racist “European Culture”. With some help from our radical friends in the middle east, a true exodus has begun with millions of refugees flooding the fertile fields of Europe. I hope soon my Amerikan comrades will also have the joy to participate in this wonderful phenomenon!

To honor those who strive towards the cultural suicide (or should we say euthanasia?) of the out-dated European culture with its ridiculous “free press”, “women’s rights” and “democracy”, the Kommissariat and High Praesidium has created a set of awards.

The first prize of the evening was the “Merkel Medal of Cultural Suicide”, to be awarded to heads of state and supranational institutions who go to extreme lengths to destroy the despicable Western Civilization…

The last part of the ceremony was the “Ephialtes Prize”, in memory of the courageous Spartan Hoplite who bravely betrayed his king Leonidas, thereby helping the Persian king Xerxes in the destruction of the entire Greek army at Thermopylae. The recipient this year was the president of the European Council, viceroy Tusk the first. Tusk joined us by teleconference from the Louvre (you can see the covered statues in the back, to make sure Muslim attendees cannot be triggered by naked female body parts) where he was just surrendering some random value to a random middle eastern nation.

[Comment: LOL — The “Ephialtes Prize”. Also check out the pictures of the medals. ]

Multicultural: Newspeak Word of the Week (Satire)

Glorious comrades from across the Ocean,

A recent article in Frontpagemag explained how Orwellian Newspeak(tm) has become the official language of the USA. For us in the European Reich, Newspeak has been the official language for many years, and in this spirit I would like to share some advice and tips on how to use this language to my Korrekt Amerikan Komrades.

The newspeak word of the week is:

“MULTICULTURAL” Multicultural in Oldspeak(tm) (also known as “English”) was derived from latin “multi” (many) and “cultura” (roughly translatable as “culture”). The Oldspeak(tm) definition was:

“Multiculturalism describes the existence, acceptance, or promotion of multiple cultural traditions within a single jurisdiction, usually considered in terms of the culture associated with an ethnic group.”

The 70’s When our Leftist Korrekt Komrades decided to extinguish the outdated and despicable Western European Culture (and the Jews of course) back in the seventies, they sold their glorious ideas by predicting a world in which europeans, arabs, unicorns and galgameks would live together in peace and harmony: they called this “MULTICULTURAL”.

The problem for our Komrades was that more and more city centers in Europe started looking like Arab Ghettos where the rule of law was all but extinguished and local islamic terror squads held sway.

The reason these problems exist are of course:

the jews

decadent capitalist westerners

the outdated and soon to be replaced European culture

absolutely not the immigrants, nope, not by a long shot

Need for new definition The apparatchiks like myself are of course able to use Doublethink(tm) to ignore these problems (more on this in other educational posts), but to keep the unwashed prole masses calm another solution was necessary. In cooperation with the state — friendly media apparatus the European Kommissariat and high Praesidum simply deleted the old meaning of the word “MULTICULTURAL” and changed it by a new, Newspeak(tm) word. The words related to this change were also changed.

The new words in the 2016 European Commission Newspeak Dictionary are:

MULTICULTURAL: a 100% sunni Arab neighbourhood

“I see only veiled women here. How multicultural!” “If I do something that’s against the local culture, they’ll cut off my head. How multicultural!” “In this town you can only eat Arab food, speak arabic and dress like an Arab. Absolutely no trace of the culture that existed here 30 years ago is left. How multicultural!”.

Returnee Exposes “Refugee” Lie

The lies used by nonwhite invaders to claim “refugee status” in Europe have been inadvertently-but definitively-exposed by a “human drama” story following a “returnee” to Afghanistan-who even got his job as a policeman in Kabul back after going home.

The German dpa news service followed the Afghan who said that he had “given up” on Germany and had decided to go home after waiting five months-perhaps after realizing that the promised “houses and cars in Germany” were not going to immediately appear.

The dpa article discussed the adventures of Khodai Nesar, who had initially made “the dangerous escape from Afghanistan to Germany.”

It only took him 38 days to reach Germany-but after his arrival, he found that he first had to endure sleeping on the street until he made it into a “receiving center.”

There, he was bunked in a room with twelve other invaders-”Pakistanis, Iranians, Arabs. Peace and quiet was not to be found here. There were constant quarrels,” he said.

The article reveals however that Nesar was “not happy” in Germany. “He felt humiliated, afraid, angry-and finally dared to return to Afghanistan.”

And there the story of “refugees” unravels: it turns out that Nesar was a policeman in Afghanistan-someone, dpa says, who lived “with pride” and was “respected” by society.

But in Germany, the article says, he only felt “disappointment from the first minute,” and, “even worse: humiliation.”

The dpa article does not ask why a policeman in Afghanistan who was “proud” and “respected” in the community would suddenly become a “refugee” in Germany.

The reason for this omission is, of course, that the controlled media always refrains from pointing out the fact that none of the nonwhite invaders would qualify for “asylum” under any definition.

The Muslim Will vs. The Western Way

In the ongoing struggle between Islam and the West, one important fact is regularly overlooked: one civilization has the will to triumph, but not the way; the other has the way to triumph, but not the will.

Some who dread Islam do not seem to understand this. They think that Islam is an irresistible force to be reckoned with; they see Muslim migrants as hordes of violent men invading Europe; they call on Western men to make a stand, resist the onslaught, save their women and children.

To be sure, this portrayal is historically valid: for one thousand years, Muslims repeatedly invaded and conquered portions of Europe-terrorizing, massacring, raping and enslaving in the name of Allah-and were only repulsed by force of arms.

Today’s situation is far less dramatic and epic; it’s actually quite pathetic. Muslim terrorists, rapists, and ISIS-sympathizers are not entering the West against its will but because of it. In other words, the West is 100% responsible for this “invasion.”

Consider it by analogy. What if zoos began to maintain that it’s a slanderous stereotype to say that lions by nature prey on zebras? Zoos start introducing lions into zebra enclosures. The inevitable happens: although well fed, some lions continue chasing and mauling zebras. Surely only a great fool would blame such carnage on lions-who, after all, are merely being lions-while ignoring those who insist on placing lions with zebras in the first place.

Fake Hate? Gay Pastor Says Whole Foods Sold Him Cake With Gay Slur But Whole Foods Blows Up His Story

Gay Pastor Jordan Brown said he ordered a cake from Whole Foods with “Love Wins” spelled out on top but was given a cake with “Love Wins Fag” instead.

Mike Cernovich at Danger and Play suspected the story was a hoax.

The media is reporting on yet another hoax, “A gay Austin preacher says he ordered a cake with ‘Love Wins’ from Whole Foods. He says he got ‘Love wins, Fag.’“

Although anything in possible in this crazy world, this story has all of the telltale signs of a hoax:

It fits a narrative. (Everyone hates gays.)

The “victim” hired a lawyer within hours.

The “victim” took his story to a friendly journalist.

The “victim” destroyed evidence.

The letters don’t match.

Add to the story some real life facts. Austin, Texas is the most liberal city outside of San Francisco, and Whole Foods is as left-wing as it gets. Do you really believe that an employee at a Whole Foods in a liberal city wrote Fag on a cake?

And then there’s this… Whole Foods released a statement today saying the cake was prepared by a member of the LGBTQ community.

White Privilege Conference Attendees Complain Conference is Too White

Disaffected participants in the 2016 White Privilege Conference (WPC) have taken to Twitter to complain that the conference was, ironically, too white and was actually filled to the brim with white supremacy.

Adopting the hashtag #WPCSoWhite, inspired by the recent #OscarsSoWhite campaign, Twitter users claimed the conference that was supposed to battle white privilege instead served to entrench it.

The tag appears to have been started and pushed with particular vigor by Aeriel Ashlee, an education consultant who attended WPC and objected to several parts of a keynote address delivered by (white) historian James Loewen.

She said Loewen’s rhetoric, which was solidly progressive throughout, actually entrenched white supremacy, partly because his speech allegedly lasted too long. When Loewen attempted to defend himself, Ashlee said that any defense was invalid and only further showed his white supremacy.

Wisconsin School Officials Try to Physically Block ‘Jesus Lunch’ Served by Moms Off School Grounds — Video

You’re the superintendent of an entire school district, so what more important thing do you have to do but wander into a park and make darn sure that moms serving a free “Jesus lunch” to kids — who show up for it voluntarily — cease and desist immediately? If you’re Don Johnson of the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School district, it’s your top priority. One thing you cannot have is 500 students getting free home-cooked lunches and hearing about Jesus.

Fortunately, most bullies on taxpayer-funded salaries can only succeed at their quest because citizens don’t know any better than to tell them where to go. In this case, Johnson came up against moms who were prepared: (video below)

Johnson is the John Koskinen lookalike who stands there indignantly because the moms don’t want to “cooperate” with him. And why exactly should they? They have a letter from the city saying they have a perfect right to be there, so his demand that they “do this legally” is the height of arrogance. They are doing it legally, and they have no reason to ignore their own lawyer’s advice and follow his. He’s the one who decided to show up and provoke a confrontation, not them. He’s not seeking cooperation. He’s seeking capitulation. And he didn’t expect the moms to have done their homework and be ready for him.

As often happens in situations like this, the school officials won’t admit that the preaching of the Gospel is the real issue. Instead, they try to make it about nitpicky regulations:

[Comment: Another anti-Christian school official…check out the video.]

  1. Also tonight the province of Manitoba in Canada voted out 17 years of rule by the socialist New Democrat Party. The Conservatives won 41 of 57 seats.Brian Palliser is the new Premier and he’s promising lower taxes. Now (with Saskatchewan re-electing Brad Wall two weeks ago) if there was some way for Albertans to dump their Premier Notley , a crazy socialist woman ,out of power the Western Canadian prairies would be whole. Eat that Trudeau ! All in due time….

  2. “She said Loewen’s rhetoric, which was solidly progressive throughout, actually entrenched white supremacy, partly because his speech allegedly lasted too long. When Loewen attempted to defend himself, Ashlee said that any defense was invalid and only further showed his white supremacy.”

I love these little dust ups in the Looney Left camp. I wonder if this woman is a Black Lives Matter activist as well. Almost certainly. Who would want to be a white liberal? You have to kowtow to these twisted fanatics. Good intentions are not enough, they merely confirm your deep unrepentant racism.

  3. I read about the “Jesus lunch” the other day. Still shaking my head. Freedom of religion? Not so much these days.

On the other hand, if you are preaching gay or atheist ideas, then freedom of speech is all yours — for nothing.

This is a really bunged up society and we’re going to get the bill soon.

    • “This is a really bunged up society . . .”

It’s time for a good, old-fashioned street brawl. And for once there’s going to be a U.S. President that will personally lead the charge. Trump 2016!
