Jihad in the Hadith: The Call to Fight the Kafir

Anestos Canelides takes a look at the justification provided by the Hadith for violence against the unbelievers.

Jihad in the Hadith: The Call to Fight the Kafir

by Anestos Canelides

In the aftermath of all the rapes in Germany, it is important to understand the justifications or reasons why the Muslim refugees attack the indigenous kuffar (infidels) in Europe, especially in Germany. In resistance to these invaders, the kafir or unbeliever must realize that the enemy has no regard for non-Muslims. According to Joseph Schacht, the basis of the Islamic attitude towards unbelievers is the law of war: the unbeliever must be converted, subjugated, or murdered. Currently the Muslim refugees do not have the power to dominate, but with the help of the globalist-controlled authorities, they can attack the kafir with little fear of punishment by the police. This is rapidly getting worse as hordes of immigrants keep arriving, and it is expected that many more will arrive after the winter is over.

The source of their justification for attacking unbelievers comes not only from the Qur’an, but also their other sacred text found in the Sira or biography of Mohammad and the Hadiths or traditions. When people (usually liberals ) ask where in the Qur’an is there support for violence against the kafir, this really shows their limited understanding about Political Islam. The Qur’an is just one of three books. The Hadiths must also be thoroughly be examined to gain a fuller understanding of the Islamic agenda. All three books support violent Jihad against the unbelievers.

The Hadith:

A collection of hadiths is called a Hadith. The are many Hadith, but the most authoritative are by Abu Bukhari and Abu Muslim. To risk being redundant, a clearer knowledge of the violent verses found outside the Qur’an is vital for understanding what motivates these refugee in their attacks against the kafir in the host countries they have invaded. Such knowledge is important in understanding the threat to our freedoms by the immigrants, the Left, and the globalists. This is a war for the soul of Western Civilization, the waging of which must be based on our understanding of political Islam and its global agenda. The real danger is that if Europeans and even Americans don’t wake up, out of necessity the war of ideas could easily become a physical war against Islam and its globalist allies.

In comparison to the Qur’an, the tone of the Hadith does not change and still calls upon the believers in Allah to make a holy war against all unbelievers. They are instructed to fight the kuffar until they are dead, convert to Islam, or — in the case of the “people of the book” — pay the Jiyza and submit to Islamic dominance. According to Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist, there are almost 100 verses in the hadiths that support Jihad.

Jihad in the Hadith:

Sahih Bukhari

Vol. 4, bk 52, no 61: Narrated Anas: My Uncle Anas bin An-Nadr was absent from the battle of Badr. He said, Oh Allah’s Apostle I was absent from the first battle you fought against the Pagans.(By Allah) if Allah gives me a chance to fight against the pagans, no doubt. Allah will see how bravely I will fight.

Vol. 4, bk. 52, 4: Narrated Ibn Abbas: Allah’s Apostle said, there is no Hijra (i.e. migration) ( from Mecca to Medina) after the conquest of Mecca, but Jihad and good intention remain; and if you are called (by the Muslim ruler) for fighting go immediately.

Vol. 4, bk. 52 no.53 Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, “Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in the cause of Allah).”

Vol. 4, bk. 52, no. 48: Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, “A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah’s cause in the afternoon or forenoon is better than all the world and what is in it. A place in paradise as small as the bow or lash of one of you is better than all the world and whatever is in it. And if an houri from paradise appeared to the people of the Earth, she would fill the space between the Heaven and the Earth with light and pleasant scent and her head cover is better than the world and whatever is in it.

Vol. 4 bk 52, no 44: Narrated by Abu Hurarira: A man came to Allah’s Apostle and said, “instruct me as to such a deed as equals Jihad (in reward).” He replied, “I do not find such as deed.” Then he added, “can you, while the Muslim is in the battle field, enter your Mosque to perform prayers without cease and fast and never break your fast?’ The man said, “But who can do that? Abu Haraira added, “The Mujahid (i.e. Muslim fighter) is rewarded even for the footsteps of his horse while it wanders about.”

Vol. 4. bk 52, no. 49: Narrated Sumura: The Prophet said, “ Last night two men came to me (in a dream) and made me ascend a tree and then admitted me into a better superior house, better of which I have never seen. One of them said, “This house is house of Martyrs.”

Sahih Muslim: The Book of Jihad and Expedition (Kitab Al Jihad Wa’l- Siyar), Book 19

Chapter 1

No 4292: Ibn ’Anun reported: I wrote to Nafi’ inquiring from him whether it was necessary to extend ( to the disbeliever) an invitation to accept (Islam) before m[eet]ing them in fight.” He wrote (in reply) to me it was necessary in the early days of Islam. The messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) made a raid upon Banu Mustaliq while they were unaware and their cattle were having a drink at the water. He killed those who fought and imprisoned others. On that day he captured Juwairiya bint-Harith. Nafti said that this tradition as related to him by Abdullah b. Umar who himself was among the raiding troops.

Chapter 2

No 4294: It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraid through his father that when the messenger of Allah appointed anyone as a leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and be good to Muslims who were with him. He would say: fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah make a Holy war …

With President Obama allowing in thousands of Muslim so-called refugees while refusing Christians, both Americans and Europeans must gain a better understanding of political Islam. Thomas Jefferson had a copy of the Qur’an not because he was interested in the religion of Islam, but to help him understand the ideology of an enemy that threatened our shipping in the early 19th century. It is important for all Counterjihadists to fully know their enemy. It is more important to understand and hate the doctrine of political Islam, and not to hate Muslims themselves, who are often victims of their own ideology. As a political doctrine, Islam is a death cult, but that does not make all Muslims evil — many are good people.

One great source to help anyone to gain a better understanding of the hadiths or any other Islamic text is Dr. Bill Warner’s book store. There are many other Counterjihad sites such as Jihad Watch by Robert Spencer. By the same token we must also support the Muslim reform movement led by people such as Dr. Zudhi Jasser from The American Islamic Forum for Democracy.

As long as we have freedom of speech we must be like Patrick Henry, and cry out about the danger of the coming of Political Islam into Europe and North America. We must organize and educate each other just as Act for America does. Writing about classical Greco-Roman history is more interesting, but the threat of Political Islam overshadows even that. The question that could be asked of Americans about tyranny is: “What did the Founding Fathers do?”

This is for our European cousins as well. I don’t encourage violence, but my favorite quote is: “ Give me liberty for give me death.”

This illustrates the poor narrative continuity in a lot of Islamic scripture. Sentences [1], [2], and [6] make a coherent point: [1] is a question, [2] is the answer, and [6] is the source (but are Nafi’ and Nafti the same person?). But sentences [3], [4], and [5] are on a completely unrelated topic: a surprise attack by Muhammad and whom he captured, with no reference to any statement by Mohammad inviting the cattle ranchers to accept Islam before ambushing them and rustling their cattle.

  2. We must not hate moslems, “many are good people….”
While I can agree we should hate the ideology, etc., moslems follow that ideology–literally; and as long as they do that they are our deadly enemies. The Koran tells them so, and we can never change that; the ball is in their court….

  3. “As a political doctrine, Islam is a death cult, but that does not make all Muslims evil — many are good people.”
I knew some Muslims, they were nice people and I’m sure the last thing on their minds was to kill or terrorise people. But here’s my problem, since their sacred books have been translated, surely it’s incumbent upon ALL adult Muslims to read and study the books thoroughly? This would surely bring nice people to the conclusion that their founder Mohammed was amongst one of the most evil men ever to live and the ideology he enforced upon others is equally rotten. How can they be excused when they choose not to read/understand when its all there in black and white for them to see. We see it!
If the NT painted a picture of Jesus doing what Mohammed did, would it be acceptable to follow him and his teachings? Would Christianity be considered a worthy belief system to teach our children?
I’m wondering if it’s not fundamentally a ‘racial’ or ‘others’ issue that causes us to say ‘they’re nice people’. Issues so favoured and advanced by Leftwingers. The Arabs who created this horrific belief system are not white people of European extraction.
If say Germans or Australians created a similar system today that called for the beheading of unbelievers, stoning adulterers, murdering errant daughters , homosexuals, apostates, would we invite them to come and live amongst us by the tens of thousands?. Would we approve their building schools, houses of worship, working in our governments, practicing and spreading their beliefs; would we praise them as enriching our culture…..?

  4. After reading the above, I am more than ever convinced that this “religion” must be confined to the middle-East where it was apparently birthed. By all western (by that I mean civilized) standards (not to detract from the East though) this is not a religion at all, not in the meaning of something which is an idea or ideal, which inspires the good in people. This “religion” seems to inspire violence and death.

It’s the crusades, all over again. Only question is — will the west win this time around?

  5. Like Dr. Bill Warner I condemn political Islam as a doctrine of death, but not all Muslims. I taught in Istanbul and I know about Taqiyya and Kitman. Dr. Warner said, “if you ask a Muslim about Mohamed you’ll get as many answers as asking a Christian about Jesus. ” I am not a fan of Muslim immigration to Europe or N. America.

  6. Walid Shoebat is a fraud. He was never a member of the PLO. He was exposed on CNN for being a liar.

    • Please, when making an assertion about someone else, please give a link. Don’t forget that your source, CNN, is often fraudulent.

Lots more out there, including the removal of yellow cake from Iraq – ignored:

      http://townhall.com/columnists/larryelder/2010/12/09/the_wikileaks_vindication_of_george_w_bush/page/full

The WikiLeaks de facto declassification of privileged material makes it case closed: Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction — and intended to restart his program once the heat was off.

President George W. Bush, in the 2003 State of the Union address, uttered the infamous “16 words”: “The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.”

Former Ambassador Joe Wilson sprang into action and, in an op-ed piece, in effect wrote, “No, the Cheney administration sent me to investigate the allegation — and I found it without merit.”

Put aside that Wilson’s CIA-employed wife, not the evil Vice President Dick Cheney — as Wilson implied — sent him on the African errand. Put aside that the British still stand by the intelligence on which Bush made the claim. And put aside that the anti-Bush Washington Post, in an editorial, concluded that Wilson had lied about not finding evidence to support the Iraq-in-Africa-for-uranium claim, since he told the CIA the opposite when he reported back from Africa.

Bush claimed that Iraq sought uranium, specifically “yellowcake.” What is yellowcake, and why would its presence or attempted acquisition corroborate the nearly unanimous assumption that Saddam possessed WMD?

The Associated Press called yellowcake “the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment” and said that it “also can be enriched for use in reactors and, at higher levels, nuclear weapons using sophisticated equipment.”

“Bush and Iraq: Follow the Yellow Cake Road” headlined a euphoric Time magazine July 2003 piece — written when the Bush administration began backtracking from the Iraq-sought-uranium-from-Africa claim. Time said no yellowcake equals no WMD equals bogus basis for war.

The article led with this ripper: “Is a fib really a fib if the teller is unaware that he is uttering an untruth? That question appears to be the basis of the White House defense, having now admitted a falsehood in President Bush’s claim, in his State of the Union address, that Iraq had tried to buy uranium in Africa.”

Time hoisted (the now discredited) Joe Wilson on its shoulders as The Man Who Told the Truth to Power: “Just last weekend, the man sent by the CIA to check out the Niger story broke cover and revealed that he had thoroughly debunked the allegation many months before President Bush repeated it.” Never mind that the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee concluded that Wilson’s report “lent more credibility to the original Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) reports on the uranium deal” sought by Iraq in Niger.

      Let’s recap.

      […]

      —————————-
And so it goes. Once the Left has swallowed one of its own lies, there can never be a change, not even when new evidence surfaces. So we’re stuck with a prevaricator’s pudding with such plums as, “Bush lied, people died” or “no more blood for oil”…as if we ever saw any. Too bad we can’t sell those plums with strings attached. Thus, once they are shown to be nothing but mendacious “facts” we could pull on the strings and do an auto-regurgitate for all the children being poisoned with engorged lies.

  7. Minnie and you trust Communist News Network? You must be a Leftist, but give a link to that story.

    • I don’t know if the PLO story is fraudulent, but I know of at least three other instances when Walid Shoebat peddled fraudulent material. He may have been the author of those hoaxes, or he may have just passed along someone else’s stuff, but in any case they were bogus, and he did not do due diligence by checking them.

I have no respect whatsoever for Walid Shoebat.

  8. Baron, have you reached any conclusions (tentative or not) about Zuhdi Jasser? I read Hesperado’s analysis which was not inconsistent with my own (far less analyticalz) impression. But I remain uncertain about him (and somewhat suspicious).

    • He seems sincere, as far as I can determine. And his organization is VERY small, which indicates that there is no big money behind him.

So it’s possible that he really, really wants to keep and promote his nice version of Islam, but can’t find many other Muslims to join his cause. That is, the “moderate” version of Islam has virtually no attraction for Muslims. It is largely a fantasy of non-Muslims, who hope against all the evidence that Islam will somehow change and become nice like Unitarianism. It is this wishful thinking on the part of the kuffar that pushes people like Zuhdi Jasser into prominence, who would otherwise remain negligible and unnoticed, with no significant following — if they were even allowed to remain alive by their fellow Muslims.
