Gates of Vienna News Feed 3/11/2016

Bulgaria and Albania are taking measures to prevent a possible influx of migrants across their border with Greece, now that Macedonia has closed its border. Italy is coordinating with Albania to patrol the Adriatic, fearing that the migrants may reroute through Montenegro or Italy itself.

In other news, a mob of violent protesters swarmed an arena tonight in Chicago where Donald Trump was due to speak at a rally. The rally had to be cancelled, due to security concerns. Dozens of people were arrested.

After Caving to Protests, Mizzou Has Huge Budget Gap

The University of Missouri (MU) is losing about 1500 students and is facing a huge $32 million budget shortfall four months after it attracted national attention as the site of massive race-based campus protests.

“I am writing to you today to confirm that we project a very significant budget shortfall due to an unexpected sharp decline in first-year enrollments and student retention this coming fall. I wish I had better news,” said MU interim chancellor Hank Foley in a Wednesday letter to school staff that was obtained by Fox Sports.

According to Foley’s letter, MU will have about 1500 fewer students in fall 2016 compared to last year, an unexpected drop that is in turn causing a big dip in the school’s tuition income.

Allen West: Players Disrespect National Anthem; Coach Gives Them Hard Core Lesson

As reported by Inspiremore.com, “Basketball Coach Buzz Williams of Virginia Tech was disappointed with the overall state of respect among college basketball players. He had noticed for years that most college players would not pay attention during the National Anthem. As we’ve all seen, some do stand in full respect. But many don’t: they sway along with the music, others look down at the floor, others even goof off and pay no attention. And we’ve all been there. Williams realized what was lacking was the reverent attitude due to those who fought for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Something we all need reminding of.”

Watch this video and if it doesn’t touch your heart, then you have no heart…certainly not for America. Coach Williams said, “I wanted the players to understand how fortunate they were to be able to play this great game, to earn a scholarship, and to have people pay money to watch them play. Everything comes at a cost and each and every one of us is fortunate that someone else, in someway, is sacrificing something so we can go about our every day lives.”

Cokie Roberts to Trump: Don’t You Know White Kids Are Being Racist and Mean Because of You?

If you don’t like the fact that Trump is winning, here’s a thought: Get better people to ask him questions. Because if this is the best the mainstream media can do, it’s no wonder Trump is having success. The full segment is mindblowing. Trump wants to talk about immigration policy, health care policy, jobs, debt . . . you know, substance. All Cokie Roberts wants to talk about is the notiong that according to “many newspapers” white children are in a racist frenzy and it’s all inspired by Trump. (Video below)

Give Trump credit for handling this nonsense extremely well. For one thing he refuses to accept her premise that this supposed behavior has anything to do with him, or that he should have some obligation to weigh in on whether he’s “proud of it”. He also points out continually that he’s only talking about deporting people who are here illegally — in other words, simply enforcing the law — while it’s apparently fine with Roberts that both Hillary and Bernie vowed last night that they would not enforce the law.

Dozens Arrested at Trump Campaign Rally in St. Louis

CHICAGO (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump canceled one of his signature rallies on Friday, calling off the event in Chicago due to safety concerns after protesters packed into the arena where it was to take place.

The announcement that the billionaire businessman would postpone the rally until another day led a large portion of the crowd inside the University of Illinois at Chicago Pavilion to break out into raucous cheers. Meanwhile, supporters of the candidate started chanting “We want Trump! We want Trump!”

There were isolated physical confrontations between some members of the crowd after the event was canceled.

There was no sign of Trump inside the arena on the college campus, where dozens of UIC faculty and staff had petitioned university administrators to cancel the rally. They cited concerns it would create a “hostile and physically dangerous environment” for students.

Before the announcement the event wouldn’t take place, a handful of intense verbal clashes took place between Trump supporters and protesters as the crowd waited for his arrival. For the first time during his White House bid, the crowd appeared to be an equal mix of those eager to cheer on the real estate mogul and those overtly opposed to his candidacy.

When one African-American protester was escorted out before the event started, the crowd erupted into chants of “Let them stay!”

Veronica Kowalkowsky, an 18-year-old Trump supporter, said before the event started that she had no ill will toward the protesters — but didn’t think they felt the same way.

“I feel a lot of hate,” she said. “I haven’t said anything bad to anyone.”

Hours before the event was scheduled to start, hundreds of people lined up outside the arena at the University of Illinois at Chicago — a civil and immigrant rights organizing hub with large minority student populations. Trump backers were separated from an equally large crowd of anti-Trump protesters by a heavy police presence and barricades.

Some Trump supporters walking into the area chanted, “USA! USA!” and “Illegal is illegal.” One demonstrator shouted back, “Racist!”…

Judge Voids Tons of Chicago Traffic Camera Tickets Over Due Process Concerns

Being familiar with our story roster when it comes to traffic and speed cameras, the only logical conclusion that can be reached is that these devices have almost nothing to do with driver safety and almost everything to do with bringing in revenue for local governments. And, with the focus being on revenue as opposed to keeping human beings from harm, the mystery for all of the corruption surrounding how these camera contracts are awarded and implemented vanishes into a story of the age-old greed of the human being.

But to really see how spectacularly these cameras fail at just about everything, we can eschew the reports on safety and the lack of their impact for the moment and focus instead on how it’s quickly becoming clear that the cameras do a shitty job at the bringing-in-revenue part of the equation as well. We’ve seen already the staggering statistics on how many refunds have been issued for tickets issued by the camera system, but now the courts are getting involved as well. An example of this can be seen in Chicago, where a judge has ruled that camera tickets spanning back over a decade are simply void and that the city had violated the due process rights of the citizens under its care.

Media Freaks Because Florida Gov. Scott Ducks Stupid Question About Whether ‘Islam Hates America’

This is why I hate the media. This is what makes them so terrible. And Joe Scarborough isn’t always the worst of the bunch, but this is the worst the media gets. Donald Trump makes a very general statement about Islam hating America. Rick Scott comes on Morning Joe. Rick Scott is not part of Donald Trump’s campaign. Rick Scott has said nothing about Islam hating America. Rick Scott does not speak for Donald Trump. He is supposedly a “friend of Donald Trump” according to Scarborough, but that doesn’t require Scott to take responsibility for anything Trump says.

Nevertheless, Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are determined to trap Scott with a question about something he has nothing to do with, and when he won’t take the bait, they get extremely irritated with him. Watch:…

Mississippi Parents to be Graded by Teachers

Mississippi lawmakers have moved forward a bill that would require teachers to issue report cards to parents, rating them on such matters as involvement with their children’ s education.

The ‘Stop Hillary’ campaign is on fire! Join the surging response to this theme: ‘Clinton for prosecution, not president’

House Bill 4, the Parent Involvement and Accountability Act, was sponsored by Democrat state Rep. Gregory Holloway, Watchdog.org first reported. Specifically, his hope is to add a section on students’ report cards where teachers can give out grades to the parents and rate how well they did at helping their children finish homework, prepare for exams and get to school on time, Fox News reported.

But critics say the bill is topsy-turvy and sets up a system where parents are accountable to teachers, rather than the other way around.

Pat Caddell: ‘The American People Have Figured Out They’Ve Been Screwed’ by Free Trade

As Caddell puts it, the American people have concluded they’re getting “screwed” by trade deals, immigration policy, and other areas where their interests are not considered a priority by their own political and business leaders. He contended this backlash against the elites was the reason so many highly-touted candidates have flamed out of the GOP primary, which is on the verge of boiling down to a two-man race between the two leading anti-Establishment candidates, Donald Trump and Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

Caddell said the critique of free trade from Trump — and to a lesser extent, his final remaining competitors — was the kind of break from party orthodoxy that could only happen during an election dominated by “outsider forces” and “insurgents.”

Rigged Democracy — Nearly 10% of Democratic Party Superdelegates Are Lobbyists

On July 25, these superdelegates will cast votes at the Democratic National Convention for whomever they want, regardless of primary and caucus outcomes. Democrats like to describe superdelegates as mostly elected officials and prominent party members, including President Obama and former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.

But this group, which consists of 21 governors, 40 senators and 193 representatives, only makes up about a third of the superdelegates. Many of the remaining 463 convention delegates are establishment insiders who get their status after years of donations and service to the party. Dozens of the 437 delegates in the DNC member category are registered federal and state lobbyists, according to an ABC News analysis.

In fact, when you remove elected officials from the superdelegate pool, at least one in seven of the rest are former or current lobbyists registered on the federal and state level, according to lobbying disclosure records.

Rockefeller Republicans Fear Losing Their Power More Than They Fear a Hillary Clinton Presidency

Several recent news articles reported a number of Washington D.C. Republicans have told Bret Baier at FOX News that they may vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump.

Self-described “lifelong Reagan Republicans” are appalled and repulsed by him, dismayed that the Republican Party let his potential candidacy happen. They are simply projecting their own failures and fears onto the leading GOP candidate because they have failed conservatism and now they are fearful because they are vulnerable. Their power is threatened. These blue bloods are not fearful of socialism gaining ground in this country. They are not fearful of a Hillary Clinton presidency and losing the Supreme Court. They are fearful of losing their power to a populist, a capitalist, who has the cajones to call their bluff, who knows who they are; and, they are fearful of their own electorate-who have been lied to, betrayed, and used as political capital by these “lifelong Reagan Republicans” for decades. Yeah, these Americans are angry and they have every right to be. This beltway betrayal and incompetent, power-hungry politicians on both sides of aisle, are the reasons why many Americans-democrats, republicans, independents, blue collar, middle class, evangelicals, and minorities are supporting Donald Trump.

These republican fraudsters, who disguise their progressive appetite by campaigning as conservatives, have zero explanation or excuse on their direct role in: expanding the size of the federal government, entitlement programs, the $19 trillion debt, the funding and implementation of Obamacare, VA death panels, the expansion of outdated, corrupt visa programs which are endangering our country and taking jobs from American workers, and in their abject failure to build a freaking wall-the same wall which had been promised to Ronald Reagan when he granted amnesty to millions of immigrants.

Seattle Explosion: Blast Rips Through Greenwood Neighborhood

(CNN)A natural gas leak may have caused a massive explosion early Wednesday in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood — obliterating at least one building, damaging many others and sending nine firefighters to the hospital.

Seattle Mayor Ed Murray called the blast a “devastating disaster” for the business district.

“It’s going to take a lot of work to help these businesses become vibrant and vital again, but we are committed to that as a city,” he told reporters.

One battalion chief and eight firefighters were transported to Harborview Medical Center after the incident, said Seattle fire spokeswoman Corey Orvold. These eight men and one woman all had been released as of 8 a.m. (11 a.m. ET), according to the hospital.

“Thank God, no one was seriously injured, and hopefully, at least as far as we can tell, no one was killed here,” Murray said Wednesday afternoon.

The fire was officially extinguished around 10:30 a.m., according to the Seattle Fire Department, leaving a lot of charred rubble behind…

We Cannot Afford “Free” Wind and Solar Energy

While driving the mostly empty and flat 1,000 miles from Houston to Colorado Springs recently, I noticed something I hadn’t seen much just a few years ago- lots of wind farms dotting the landscape, but none anywhere near even small population centers. And another funny thing, though: Invariably, many of the turbines weren’t moving and one of the largest appeared to have about 100 turbines, yet I counted just three in action.

How can this be? Having paid for the land, the turbines, and those long transmission lines don’t providers want a maximum of the machines going? Nope. Because, you see, wind farms — and solar farms for the same reasons — don’t make their money by generating electricity. They do it by generating government subsidies.

Italy: Somali Terror Suspect ‘Just Awaiting Order’ — Prosecutor

D’Alterio says 22-year-old ready to take risks

(see related) (ANSA) — Campobasso, March 10 — A prosecutor said Thursday that a 22-year-old Somali asylum seeker detained on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack in Rome was just awaiting an order from a superior to act. “He’s a person who is extremely zealous and quite willing to take risks,” Campobasso Prosecutor Armando D’Alterio told ANSA.

“Nevertheless, he isn’t someone who is out of control. He isn’t crazy. “Up to now he was waiting for developments. He was waiting for orders from above. That was all he was waiting for”. The man, who was considered an imam by other members of the reception centre at Campomarino, near the southern city of Campobasso, had been under observation for two months and is suspected of instigating others to commit acts of terror.

His lawyer said he was bemused by his detention. “Why have they arrested me? I haven’t done anything,” lawyer Antonio Di Renzo quoted the suspect as saying during a meeting. “The arrest is incredible for him,” the lawyer told ANSA. “I tried to explain to him that in Italy the justice system goes down a different track and you don’t necessarily have to have killed someone to be arrested,” the lawyer continued. “My main job at the moment is to make him understand the stages of the judicial process. “The first impression is that he is very sure of himself.

He betrays no emotion and I don’t know whether this is a front or whether he doesn’t realise what has happened”. The Somali, who was not named, was recorded saying, according to court documents, “let’s start from Italy, let’s go to Rome and start with the station”. “The war is still continuing, Charlie Hebdo was just the beginning of what is happening now,” he went on. “There’s a simpler road, that of equipping oneself and blowing oneself up, that’s the simplest way”. Di Renzo said the suspect’s Italian is poor and he is requesting the help of an interpreter. “The scraps of recordings that I’ve seen so far don’t say anything,” the lawyer said. “There are probably others that I have’t been able to see yet”.

UK: Gas Man Claims He Found ‘Four-Foot Rodent Bigger Than His Cat and Dog Put Together’ On London Estate

An extraordinary photo has emerged of a huge ‘four-foot rat’ found by a gas worker in London.

The picture taken by engineer Tony Smith shows the rodent being held up to the camera after he found it dead in Hackney in the east of the capital.

Mr Smith said he spotted the animal, which he says weighed about 25lbs, while working on a block of flats yesterday.

Mr Smith says he discovered the creature lying in a bush next to a children’s playground which backed onto the railway line near Hackney Downs.

The 46-year-old said: ‘This is the largest rat I’ve ever seen in my entire life.

‘I’ve got a cat and a Jack Russell and it was bigger than both of those put together. I’d say it was about four foot.

‘We were going to stick it in the bin, but before we did we thought we better take a picture of people won’t believe it’s real.’

Mr Smith said that the estate where he was working has suffered an infestation of rats, with poison left around to kill them.

Shocking CCTV footage shows carjackers brutally attacking a security worker with batons in front of his terrified wife, just moments after kissing her goodbye on their drive.

The masked carjackers pull up and jump out of a car, then walk towards large security boss Vince Cappelllie with the weapons, moments before he gets into his £50,000 Audi Q7.

His wife Jennifer, 47, is then forced to watch as the men chased and beat him, continuing the attack even as her lay on the floor, then took his keys and drive off in the luxury vehicle.

Libya: UN: ISIS Has Widened Control Over Territory

Foreign fighters also from Europe across Tunisia, Sudan

(ANSAmed) — ROME, MARCH 11 — The political void in Libya “is exploited by ISIS, which has significantly widened its control across the territory”, UN Security Council experts have written in a report. The jihadists have recruited fighters in Sirte, in particular “marginalized elements after Gaddafi’s ouster”. In Tripoli and Sabratha, ISIS has grown stronger also thanks to the inflow of foreign fighters, including “several Europeans”, coming in particular from Tunisia, Sudan and Turkey, according to experts.

According to the report, a deluge of weapons, including heavy artillery, Mi-8 combat helicopters and Mig-21F jets are being trafficked towards Libya, violating an embargo, practically feeding all factions, from Tobruk to Tripoli. The documents in particular points its finger against two US firms, the UAE and Egypt, as well as networks of traffickers made up by single individuals, including several Italians, and some Ukrainian and Turkish firms.

“The continued violations have a negative impact on security in Libya and the political transition: factions that are better armed could be less inclined to accept the ceasefires or authorities of the future national unity government”, warned the experts.

According to UN experts, Franco Giorgi, the 72-year-old from Ascoli stranded in Tripoli since March last year, is being “held” over an arms trafficking case towards the North African country, in violation with an international embargo.

Giorgi’s name, experts said, emerged in an investigation involving Abdurraouf Eshati, a Libyan sentenced to a six-year jail term in the UK for trafficking weapons worth 28.5 million dollars for the Zintan militia. Giorgi, reportedly the network’s “main Italian mediator”, “received a first installment of money, which he claim was stolen from him”. In March 2015, he travelled to Tripoli, “probably to discuss the problem with clients”, and has been “held” ever since.

Revealed: How Hamas Exploits Gaza to Harm Israel

Aside from siphoning off international aid for its missile and tunnel programs, Hamas has been cynically manipulating its residents in Gaza by imposing unreasonable taxes to prop up its terror activities, even while deceiving the world into blaming Israel for the bleak situation.

Hamas continues to complain of the “Israeli blockade” in the international press and accuse it for Gaza’s economic crisis, but meanwhile the terrorist organization is fleecing its residents in various forms of taxes and funneling tens of millions of dollars into its “military arm” every month. Meanwhile the international community continues to ignore the duplicity of Hamas and condemns Israel’s legal naval blockade.

Several of Hamas’ methods of ripping off Gaza residents were exposed by Walla on Friday, which reported that nearly 100,000 residents in the coastal enclave remain homeless since Operation Protective Edge in summer 2014, Hamas’ third war against Israel.

Qatar has been donating enormous funds to rebuild Gaza, and slowly new homes are being built for the 17,000 families whose homes were completely destroyed.

Recently Hamas held a raffle for 1,040 housing units built by Qatar in Gaza, promising Gazan homeless who signed up that they would receive the homes for free.

However, Walla reports that those who won in the housing lottery found that Hamas demanded that they pay $40,000 for each “free” house. The terror group claimed the expenses were required to hook up the houses to the various infrastructure systems such as water and electricity.

In this way, Hamas required those who lost their homes in a war started by the terror group to pay for homes that were paid for by Qatar, and did not cost Hamas at all. Hamas is to see a benefit of nearly $40 million in the coming years thanks to the taxes on the homes.[…]

Caroline Glick: The Fourth Strategy

This week we learned that Lebanon is no more. It has been replaced by Hezbollah’s Iranian colony in Lebanon.

Two weeks ago, Saudi Arabia listed Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and canceled its $3 billion aid package to the Lebanese military. The Gulf Cooperation Council followed suit. Rather than support the move by his sponsors and allies, Saad Hariri, the head of the anti-Hezbollah March 14 movement, flew to Syria to meet with Hezbollah leaders.

Saudi Arabia’s decision to end its support for the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) doesn’t mean that Saudi Arabia is making peace with Hezbollah. It means that the Saudis are no longer willing to maintain the fiction that with enough support, the LAF will one day challenge Hezbollah’s effective control of Lebanon.

Hezbollah and its bosses in Tehran don’t seem too upset about the Sunnis’ decision to acknowledge that Hezbollah is a terrorist group. And they are right not to care. In essence, the Saudi move is simply an admission that they have won. Lebanon is theirs.

Hezbollah’s isn’t the dominant force in Lebanon because it has better weapons than the LAF. Unlike the LAF, Hezbollah has no air force. It has no armored divisions.

Hezbollah is able to dominate Lebanon because unlike the LAF and the March 14 movement, Hezbollah is willing to destroy Lebanon if doing so advances its strategic goals.

This has all been fairly clear for more than a decade. But it took the war in Syria to force the truth above the surface. And now that it is clear to everyone that Lebanon has ceased to exist and that the country we once knew is now an Iranian colony, the time has come for Israel to reckon with the lessons of its own misadventures in our neighbor to the north…

“We trained him well, and we had lots of help from America,” another anonymous Georgian defense official told McClatchy about Shishani. “In fact, the only reason he didn’t go to Iraq to fight alongside America was that we needed his skills here in Georgia.”

Family Say Their Fairytale Reunion Turned to a Nightmare as Their Kidnapped Girl Has Rejected Them for Woman Who Snatched Her

‘It’s like she’s been kidnapped all over again’

The girl snatched from her hospital cot by a woman ‘dressed as a nurse’ in 1997 and reunited with her real parents 18 years later has rejected her biological parents, her father Morne Nures told MailOnline.

The father of a baby snatched 18 years ago from her hospital cot has revealed she has rejected her real parents in favour of the ‘wicked’ woman who kidnapped her.

Zephany Nurse was three days old when she was taken by ‘a woman dressed as a nurse’ as her mother Celeste recovered from a C-section in the bed next to her.

It sparked a huge hunt to find the girl, which ended almost two decades later in a bizarre twist of fate.

Today her real father Morne Nurse sobbed as he revealed how their dream of finding their daughter has turned into a nightmare as they haven’t spoken in five months.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, he said: ‘I got my daughter back and now I’ve lost her all over again, and it is just as painful this time around, maybe even more so.’

Lula’s Woes Amplify President’s in Brazil

The money-laundering charges against Brazil’s former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva deepened the crisis engulfing his protege and successor Dilma Rousseff on Thursday.

Speculation swirled on how Rousseff, who is already facing an impeachment drive, a spiraling scandal at the state oil company and a bruising recession, would respond to the charges filed Wednesday against the once wildly popular Lula.

Brazilian media reports said Rousseff’s left-wing allies were pressuring her to name Lula to a heavyweight ministerial post, which — their argument reportedly goes — would both leverage the ex-president’s charisma to get the administration out of crisis and protect him from criminal charges in an ordinary court.

Under Brazilian law, cabinet ministers can only be tried before the Supreme Court…

Archbishop of Canterbury Says Migration Fears Are Valid

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, the leader of the world’s Anglicans, said Friday that people were entitled to fear the impact of mass migration, in his first intervention in Britain’s EU referendum debate.

As the European Union struggles to deal with the arrival of an influx of people fleeing war in Syria and upheaval across the Middle East, Asia and Africa, Welby said there was a “genuine fear” about the impact on housing, employment and public services.

“There is a tendency to say ‘those people are racist’, which is just outrageous, absolutely outrageous,” he said in an interview with The House magazine…

Fearing that thousands of desperate refugees may show up at their doorstep after the Balkan route to Europe was officially closed, neighboring Albania and Bulgaria are beefing up security along their borders with Greece.

Bulgaria, which has already stationed military troops on the border, said it plans to to build a fence “in case of an increase in migrant pressure” while Albania is enlisting the help of Italian forces.

Italy said it will hold joint military patrols with Albania on the Greek border, fearing that refugees may seek to enter Europe through Italy or Montenegro through the Adriatic Sea.

Finnish Flag at “Refugee” Evening Debate Causes Furor

This is something that is imported from Sweden, and needs to be rejected without a moment’s delay.

Järvenpää on Tuesday, 15.3. a public event, which under the leadership of experts discussed the current situation of refugees coming to Finland. Event is organized by the local cultural association Silmi Association, which in the past has held a variety of topical issues in joined public events.

The flag was banned, a panelist canceled their participation

The first surprising turning point came when the (local culture center) Järvenpää-house director Jari Salminen forbade the introduction of the Finnish flag ceremony, because in his opinion it is “provocative” in this situation. The flag has been on display in the house other public events.

City of Järvenpää Director of Education Jari Lausvaara , in turn, believes that an open discussion session may create confrontation rather than open dialogue. Due to these concerns City of Järvenpää immigration specialist Arja Loima withdrew her participation to evening panel of experts…

German Government Funded Website Teaches Migrants How to Have Sex… in 13 Different Languages

Launched in late February as a means to aid integration, the website is gathering significant attention abroad for its graphic cartoon depictions of sexual acts. The pictures, which often show dark-skinned men having sex with white women have been referred to as an illustration of Germany’s “welcoming culture” towards migrants by Swiss newspaper Blick, while Canada’s Ezra Levant called them conveniently “colour coded”.

Available in 13 languages including Arabic and Turkish, Zanzu.de is funded by the BZgA as well as the Federal Ministry for Health. Many of the issues dealt with by the site are explained to German children while they are at school in sex education classes, but for those coming from “Arab and African” countries this is not the case, reports the German Express.

Italy: Boldrini Says EU States Avoiding Duty in Migrant Crisis

Lower House Speaker says a tendency is to turn a blind eye

(ANSA) — Rome, March 11 — Lower House Speaker Laura Boldrini on Friday said the current migrant crisis affecting the European Union wouldn’t exist if every member State were to do its part.

Boldrini said the EU is “doing what it shouldn’t do: there’s a tendency to turn a blind eye to some countries”.

“The EU can’t demand that non-EU countries respect a series of standards and objectives if it’s not ready to pursue them itself,” Boldrini said.

“Some States are making an effort to manage the (migrant) phenomenon, but others no. This creates the crisis; otherwise there wouldn’t be one,” she said.

“If Europe wants to continue to be a moral compass for the world, it needs to set an example. It also needs to do it to defend its own reputation,” she said.

Russia Mocks Migrant Crisis: Kremlin Says the EU’s Policy on Multiculturalism Has ‘Failed’

Russia today lashed out at the EU’s handling of the migrant crisis, accusing leaders of wilfully ignoring cultural differences that have caused such widespread friction and chaos across the Continent.

Konstantin Romodanovsky, head of Russia’s Federal Migration Service, said ‘multiculturalism has failed’ because Europe never formed a unified strategy to integrate refugees into Western society.

He said: ‘The European Commission left it up to individual nations to decide how they want to treat asylum seekers — despite the fact the policies and capabilities of member states are very different.

‘The EU does not have an effective system for registering incoming migrants or effective mechanisms for deporting illegal immigrants.’

Turkey Visa Deal ‘Will Set Off New Refugee Wave’

Agreeing to a refugee deal with Turkey that offers Ankara visa exemptions will set off a new wave of migration from Kurdish areas of Turkey, Bavarian interior minister Joachim Herrmann said on Thursday.

Speaking to the Rheinische Post, the conservative Bavarian politician said that it is in Germany’s interest to reach an agreement with Turkey, but that “we must not concede too much to them.”

Herrmann noted that when Germany did away with visa requirements for Balkan states in 2009, the number of asylum applications from these countries “exploded”.

Turkey is pushing for a deal with the EU which would impose tighter controls along its sea border to prevent refugees entering Greece, in exchange for a relaxation of visa restrictions for Turkish citizens seeking to enter the 28-member union.

“We shouldn’t bring a new refugee wave into the country by agreeing to abolish visa restrictions for all Turkish citizens including Kurds,” Herrmann said.

Two 10-Year-Old Schoolgirls Molested and a Woman’s Trousers Ripped Off

Inside the sleepy Swedish town rocked by EIGHT sex attacks in three weeks by migrant men

The streets are deserted after dark in a sleepy Swedish town which is a now no-go zone for women after eight sex attacks in three weeks.

Women have been warned by police not to walk alone at night after the once peaceful town of Östersund was shaken to its core by a string of vicious attacks on females and even children by groups of young men of ‘foreign origin’.

First, two 10-year-old girls were groped at a bus stop by a gang of men who threatened to rape them.

The following day, a woman told police she was punched in the face, splitting her eyebrow, by a man who threatened to kill her after he made a rude comment to her.

Just five days later a woman walking on her own was attacked by three men, beaten and pushed to the ground.

They held her down and forced their fingers into her mouth while saying offensive, sexual words to her.

And in the latest incident just five days ago, a woman had to use martial arts to elbow her would-be rapist in the head and escape after three men surrounded her and punched to the ground and tried to pull her trousers down.

Police in Östersund, with a population of 45,000, say they have never seen anything like this before.

They took the unprecedented move of calling a press conference on Monday to warn women to stay indoors.

Stephen Jerand, the county police commissioner, admitted police in the town are struggling to cope — adding that the surge in attacks ‘seem unreal’.

He told MailOnline: ‘We called the press meeting this Monday because we have seen an accelerating development here.

‘This is a small town where groups of men are attacking women during the night. We wanted to warn the public and urge women not to walk home on the streets in the central part of the town after dark, because it is not safe.

‘The situation is tense. We have never experienced anything like this before. It is almost unreal. Eight attacks and just three this last weekend. This is a quiet part of Sweden where we barely have had any attacks on women and now this.’

Officers are confident they will catch the perpetrators and say victims claim their attackers were of ‘foreign origin’.

So far only one man, whose nationality is unknown, has been arrested.

Taleb Moafagh, 22, was caught allegedly attempting to flee to Germany on board a ferry in southern Sweden. He was detained in connection to an attack on February 26.

For those living in the town surrounded by mountains, 350 miles north-west of Stockholm, there is no doubt where to find these criminals: among the migrant men who have arrived in droves in recent months, forcing them off the streets of the town they call home.

Urged by Obama, Illegal Immigrants Line Up to Vote Against Trump: “Donald Trump Never!”

Obama administration, Soros-linked NGOs behind push to naturalize illegals before November.

Illegal aliens, encouraged by the Obama administration, are registering for citizenship ahead of November’s presidential election in record numbers, with many vowing to vote against Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.”I want to vote so Donald Trump won’t win,” Hortensia Villegas, a legal Mexican immigrant, told The New York Times earlier this week after attending a naturalization workshop in Colorado. “He doesn’t like us,” she said, compelled to register after a decade of living in the country illegally.Villegas’ husband, Miguel Garfio, a US citizen born in Colorado, also told The Times he felt Trump’s rise in the polls has impelled illegals to seek citizenship.”A lot of people are opening their eyes because of all the negative stuff Donald Trump has brought,” Garfio claimed.

Another Mexican immigrant interviewed at the workshop expressed familiar talking points regurgitated by the establishment media.

“Donald Trump never! Never!” Minerva Guerrero Salazar, 40, expressed. “He has no conscience when he speaks of Latinos. And he is so rude. I don’t know what kind of education his mother gave him.”

A union representative working as a naturalization operative told The Guardian they’re capitalizing on Trump’s perceived negative comments to propagandize Latinos into voting for anyone but Trump.

Censorship Row as Italy Bishops Curtail Release of Gay Film

British film “Weekend” was restricted to just ten cinemas on its release in Italy on Thursday after the country’s bishops branded Andrew Haigh’s acclaimed gay love story “indecent” and “unusable” in the country’s many Church-owned film theatres.

In an unusual move that prompted accusations of homophobic censorship, the Italian Conference of Bishops’ Film Evaluation Commission classified the film as “not advised, unusable and scabrous (indecent or salacious).”

The Commission listed the film’s principal themes — described by critics as love and identity — as drugs and homosexuality…

Convicted Sex Offender Resigns From Transsexual-Rights Group

(Breitbart) After it was reported by Breitbart News this week Chad Sevearance was a convicted sex offender, he resigned his position as a leader in the effort in Charlotte, North Carolina for biological males to be able to use the lady’ s room.

Sevearance was the President of the Charlotte Business Guild, a homosexual pressure group, and a lead voice in the press for the controversial city ordinance that would have also allowed men to shower in women’s locker rooms.

Sevearance was quoted frequently in the local press, particularly the influential Charlotte Observer.

Obama Uses Army to Attack “White Privilege”

The U.S. Army subjected 400 soldiers in Georgia to a “white privilege” indoctrination session last year, lecturing the troops on how our society supposedly systematically lavishes unearned benefits on those who are white, male, and heterosexual, a watchdog group reports.

“Outrageous — that is the only word to describe this type of raw racist indoctrination,“ said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.

“The Obama administration undermines the morale of our military with morally repugnant ‘equal opportunity training’ that makes many soldiers feel unwelcome because they are the wrong sex, race, religion or aren’t part of a politically correct group.”…

The PowerPoint presentation shown at Fort Gordon informed soldiers that the United States is “organized according to race” and that they ought to feel guilty about being white, male, or straight because such attributes place them on the side of oppressors in society.

“Privilege exists when one group has something of value that is denied to others simply because of the groups they belong to rather than because of anything they’ve done or failed to do,” one slide stated.

In other words, this hyper-paranoid straitjacketed way of thinking presumes that all whites oppress non-whites, all men oppress women, and all straights oppress gays.

UC Davis Women’s Center Offers ‘Mind Spa Services’ For Those Upset by Pro-Life Display

During the “three days of demonstrations,” Students for Life at UC Davis set up shop in a common area on campus where members distributed pro-life materials and polled students on whether or not later terms abortions should remain legal in California.

But counter-protesters were quick to disrupt the demonstration, throwing pro-life materials to the ground and even harassing some participants for taking pictures of the protest.

In a video obtained by Campus Reform, members of UC Davis Students for Life appear to be talking to a counter-protester who in turn pushes a stack of pro-life flyers to the ground and proceeds to walk away.

“I’m not sorry, I’m not sorry!” she said to cheers from her fellow protesters.

UK: Magistrate Fired for Being Normal

The homosexual perversion of contemporary western society has gone so far that a magistrate in England has been sacked merely for expressing the opinion that placing children in the care of same-sex couples is not in their best interest.

Richard Page, a magistrate in Maidstone, Kent, has been removed from office by the Lord Chancellor after sharing his personal conviction in a media interview that there is not enough evidence to show that placing children in the care of same-sex couples is in their best interest…

“As a magistrate, I have to act on the evidence before me and quite simply, I believe that there is not sufficient evidence to convince me that placing a child in the care of a same-sex couple can be as holistically beneficial to a child as placing them with a mum and dad as God and nature intended.

“I am surprised that the Lord Chancellor should seemingly pander to the new political orthodoxy when what it amounts to is social experimentation on the lives of the most vulnerable children in our communities.

“To punish me and to seek to silence me for expressing a dissenting view is deeply shocking. I shall challenge this decision as it is illiberal and intolerant. It is vital the family law courts always have in mind the best interests of the children. I cannot believe that the establishment is trying to silence someone like me who has served it wholeheartedly all of my working life.”

  1. Amazing! Causing death of marines in Benghazi no protests. Trump, who is addressing real American issues and problems is vilified

If you are young, smooth, with a thatch of hair, having used drugs and inhaled it, a clown and funny, invite some silly “celebrities” then you get elected.

    MY FELLOW CITIZENS:

A WISE MAN IS NEVER ELECTED FOLKS!

    THAT”S REAL DEMOCRACY.

    • Don’t forget Barry[…] Obama[…] got a free PhD and several re-election passes and a complementary citizenship with a two term presidency thrown in for good luck just because he has Muslim plus potential. The climate is changing supervisor experience or not.

  2. Has anyone in Europe even taken notice of the fact that much maligned Greece is being closed off and given no help, while the “refugees” conquer what the Persian Empire failed to conquer and the Ottoman Empire took and grudgingly lost? Will anyone notice when the second language in Athens and Sparta is Arabic, only because the first language is Turkish?

      • Postscript: In too much of a hurry this a.m., forgot to add, “…but I’m not in Europe.”

The point is, I noticed the expected accumulating in Greece.

    • Do you think Turkey wants Greece? At least in the near future? It has far too much on its plate right now to consider it, imho. It might be a good place to off-load troublesome Kurds from Iraq and Turkey, though.

  3. If I hear the term “white privilege” one more time I will go ballistic. White privilege is what keeps this country running, all these poor stupid white people working at jobs, making money, paying taxes. They obviously have zero privilege unlike welfare people, who sit on their butts while the taxpayers support them. Please excuse me for asking for a bowl of porridge.

But of course, we are not allowed to say that. Are we. Everywhere I look I see all kinds of “privilege” — college students, black people, Hispanic people, women, children, who else? Well, we can’t count people who work for a living, pay taxes and otherwise support all these under-privileged people.

My God, this country has changed since I showed up 50 years ago.

    • very true. I say that after working overtime on Saturday weekly to survive and try to save. What kills me is during the course of my day I meet people at their homes doing nothing! How do they do it? These are mostly non-white`s mind you….about 80%. I`m too busy working so they can collect a check! Infuriating!!!!

      • A lot more than infuriating. I hope you are taking photographs and addresses on your way to [w]ork.

    • The people inventing terms like “white privilege” are usually living in some upper middle class mostly white area getting their salaries paid by government grants and artificial injections of outside money. Naturally they assume that all white people must be living in the same conditions, even the ones living in trailers in Kansas.

      • Nimrod, it isn’t even *that* benign.

The professional racial grievance mongers don’t care about the black kids they poison with this toxic humbug. It’s sad, the way those who naively believe the hucksters telling them that marching and nattering on about “white privilege” and “black lives matter” is going to make a real difference in their own journey. They are wasting precious time they could better use learning how to live on their own, self-supporting and productive.

Apprenticeships, work/school semesters (as Northeastern used to have, don’t know if it would work anymore in this time of grossly over-inflated education prices), community college courses designed to facilitate a collaboration between local employers and local would-be employees – both answering the demands of local market needs, etc. These are just some of the ideas being tried out once kids get away from the sterile government “education” ghettoes.

I hope the growing on-line education programs will fill the needs of both sides, sans the corrupt “middle men” – a.k.a “community organizers”. As Ben Carson has pointed out, these fatherless kids need mentors and exemplars to model the daily habits and thinking patterns of those who succeed.
