Admiral Ace Lyons at CPAC

Retired Admiral Ace Lyons was one of the participants last week on a panel sponsored by the Center for Security Policy at the annual CPAC conference in Washington D.C. In his talk he touched on a number of points that will be of interest to a Counterjihad audience. Adm. Lyons has reached that venerable age when adhering to the rules of political correctness is of no concern whatsoever. As a result, what he has to say is informative and refreshing. The section on Benghazi is particularly worth paying close attention to.

  1. That was very refreshing. I would love to see younger military people say similar although maybe they can’t due to either “rules of engagement” or losing their jobs.

    Sigh. PC really sucks.

This guy may be an old fart, speaking as an old fart myself, but he is so obviously truthful and patriotic (A term that seems out of favor with the current grubmint).

  2. I’ve seen this guy speak Truth before. I love this guy. He’s from a generation where truth = Truth. I think we’ll have to head to hot war (at least, in some parts of ‘Murica) before that will be the case again… I’m sorry to say.

  3. Admiral Lyons was also “sea daddy” to Dick Marcinko, of ST6 and Red Cell fame. Great men who love this country.
