Geert Wilders’ Party is the Largest in The Netherlands

Geert Wilders is the leader of the Party for Freedom (Partij voor de Vrijheid, PVV) in the Netherlands. According to the latest opinion polls, the PVV not only remains the most popular Dutch party, but has increased its lead even further.

The PVV sent out this notice yesterday:

PVV biggest party in the Netherlands!

The PVV party again won 3 seats in the latest poll from today. Wilders was judged the winner of the most important debate of the week — the opening of the parliamentary year — both by professionals and by the people.

Where the PVV had a virtual 22 of the 150 seats a few weeks ago, the party now polls at 29, and is as big as the two governing coalition parties VVD and PvdA combined. Here are the numbers:

  1. Mr Wilders has become enemy No 1 to the Islamists and those who aid and abet the Islamic overthrow of the West. Well done Mr Wilders!

  2. A portion of Absalom and Achitophel by John Dryden 1681

    “…The law shall still direct my peaceful sway,
    And the same law teach rebels to obey:
    Votes shall no more established power control,—
    Such votes, as make a part exceed the whole.
    No groundless clamours shall my friends remove, [995]
    Nor crowds have power to punish ere they prove;
    For gods and godlike kings their care express,
    Still to defend their servants in distress.

    Oh, that my power to saving were confined!
    Why am I forced, like heaven, against my mind, [1000]
    To make examples of another kind?
    Must I at length the sword of justice draw?
    Oh curst effects of necessary law!
    How ill my fear they by my mercy scan!
    Beware the fury of a patient man. [1005]
    Law they require, let law then show her face;
    They could not be content to look on grace,
    Her hinder parts, but with a daring eye,
    To tempt the terror of her front, and die.
    By their own arts ’tis righteously decreed, [1010]
    Those dire artificers of death shall bleed.
    Against themselves their witnesses will swear,
    Till, viper-like, their mother-plot they tear;
    And suck for nutriment that bloody gore,
    Which was their principle of life before
    …”

    • Thanks for this excerpt. I never knew that Dryden was the author of one of my favorite lines:

      Beware the fury of a patient man.

      That describes the Baron to a ‘t’: I have seldom seen him “furious” but when he is, ’tis a sight to behold.

  3. Mr Wilders is unique. He loves his people and country and humanity in general but not stupid to sacrifice his children and grandchildren for Pirates (Pi b u h). Humanity need people like him who see things 40 years ahead and predict what will happen then and do things proactively to avoid them (deadly wars).

    He knows how human nature works and extrapolates accurately the trends and how they will culminate into apocalyptic disasters. He tries to undo the horrible things done by :

    unscrupulous

    unconscionable

    unprincipled traitors , who are killing us with their hyper hypocritical inhuman kindness.

  4. This is such great news!

    I almost don’t dare saying it, but even in the US I see a very small but steady snowballing against islamism.

    Let’s hope it’ll grow to a roaring scream.

  5. The problem is that the political landscape is unpredictable, this index may be so, but liberalism is still part of the Netherlands, and sooner or later they will return, especially if liberalism is a cultural tendency among the Dutch. You can not beat Islam without losing leftism because they are one: one is the tail and the other’s head. Remember this and never forget.

  6. If fact, as you can see in Wilders’ last debate, there are only 3 parties in the Dutch parliament: 1) the PVV 2) the anti-PVV parties (most) 3) we want to be in parliament parties, no matter what (the remainder).

    As always: “results obtained in the past are not a guarantee for the future”. There is only one poll that matters. We call that poll ‘elections’. Even of the PVV would get 56 seats, as the PvdA once did, they will in all likelihood not form part of a government. After that stunning victory, the PvdA remained in the opposition…

  7. One thing struck me about the graphic: the Party for Animals and the party for pensioners, 50Plus, are level-pegging.
    That sums up European ‘liberalism.’ The people who built the country are no more valued than stray dogs and clapped-out Peruvian donkeys.
