Gates of Vienna News Feed 6/12/2015

Muslims who live north of the Arctic Circle are scrambling to make up special rules for breaking their fast during Ramadan. This year the holy month falls during the time of the Midnight Sun, and there will be no sunrise or sunset to mark the beginning and end of the fasting period. To avoid a starvation situation, new rules are being discussed by Islamic scholars in Sweden so that the faithful may manage to have a meal each day while still abiding by the requirements of Islamic law.

In other news, the Finnish government is debating whether to allow any “Finnish” mujahideen to return from fighting jihad Syria, and if they do, how the veteran kinetic activists will be treated.

7 Key Events That Are Going to Happen by the End of September

For months, people have been pointing to the second half of this year for various reasons. For some, the major concern is Jade Helm and the unprecedented movement of military vehicles and equipment that we have been witnessing all over the nation. For others, the upcoming fourth blood moon and the end of the Shemitah cycle are extremely significant events. Yet others are most concerned about political developments in Washington D.C. and at the United Nations. To me, it does seem rather remarkable that we are seeing such a confluence of economic, political and spiritual events coming together during the second half of 2015. So is all of this leading up to something? Is our world about to change in a fundamental way? Only time will tell. The following are 7 key events that are going to happen by the end of September…

Late June/Early July — It is expected that this is when the U.S. Supreme Court will reveal their gay marriage decision. Most believe that the court will rule that gay marriage is a constitutional right in all 50 states. There are some that believe that this will be a major turning point for our nation. July 15th to September 15th — A “realistic military training exercise” known as “Jade Helm” will be conducted by the U.S. Army. More than 1,000 members of the U.S. military will take part in this exercise. The list of states slated to be involved in these drills includes Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, California, Mississippi and Florida.

July 28th — On May 28th, Reuters reported that countries in the European Union were being given a two month deadline to enact “bail-in” legislation. Any nation that does not have “bail-in” legislation in place by that time will face legal action from the European Commission. So why is the European Union in such a rush to get this done? Are the top dogs in the EU anticipating that another great financial crisis is about to erupt?

September 13th — This is Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar — the last day of the Shemitah year. Many are concerned about this date because we have seen giant stock market crashes on the last day of the previous two Shemitah cycles.

European Shares Fall Amid Greek Default Fears

Shares on European stock markets have fallen sharply amid reports that senior EU officials have discussed a possible Greek default for the first time.

The Athens stock exchange closed nearly 6% lower, while Germany’s Dax and France’s Cac 40 closed more than 1% lower.

Stocks in the National Bank of Greece fell by more than 10%, while Piraeus Bank fell more than 11.5%.

Cash-strapped Greece is trying to reach a deal that will unlock bailout funds.

According to official sources quoted by news agencies, senior eurozone officials meeting in Bratislava on Thursday held their first formal talks on the possibility that Greece might default on its debt payments.

Also on Thursday, officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) pulled out of talks with Greek politicians in Brussels, citing “major differences”.

How the Report That Europe is Formally Discussing a Greek Default Shook Markets

With Greek PM Alexis Tsipras seemingly determined to take negotiations over pension reform and VAT hikes down to the “Zambian” bundle wire on June 30, and with the IMF having shrugged its shoulders, sighed, and traveled back to Washington, EU officials are now formally discussing what formerly was not to be mentioned in polite circles: a Greek ‘Plan B’.

In other words, EU officials have now stopped pretending that no one has mentioned a Greek default thus far. Of course that contention was absurd on its face considering Greece in fact defaulted on May 12 when it was forced to pay the IMF out of its SDR reserves (which now stand at just €30 million) and then effectively defaulted again last Friday when Athens asked to bundle its June payments so as to buy more time for Tsipras to convince the IMF to pay itself (again) by disbursing its portion (around 50%) of the €7.2 billion remaining in Greece’s current (and apparently last) bailout program.

But to the market (and certainly to the algos) whether or not this most recent headline actually means anything is … well, meaningless, which is why when the “Plan B” ‘news’ hit the wires, this happened:…

The Fed is Funneling the Investing Herd Off a Cliff

As you probably know by now, it turns out lemmings didn’t voluntarily commit mass suicide: they were driven off the cliff by those in charge. Lemming Suicide Myth: Disney Film Faked Bogus Behavior.

Investors in stocks, bonds and real estate are being herded off the cliff by the Federal Reserve. The name of the game in the New Normal is to force investors large and small into risk assets. When the risk assets blow up, the herd plunges headlong over the cliff en masse. Virtually every statistic and every public utterance by Federal Reserve spokespeople or mouthpieces is designed to persuade us of several untruths — untruths that are the essential foundation of the vested interests benefiting so mightily from the corrupt, unsustainable status quo:…

Baltimore Gets Bloodier as Arrests Drop Post-Freddie Gray

BALTIMORE (AP) — A 31-year-old woman and a young boy were shot in the head Thursday, becoming Baltimore’s 37th and 38th homicide victims so far this month, the city’s deadliest in 15 years.

The most recent killings claimed the lives of Jennifer Jeffrey and her 7-year-old son, Kester Anthony Browne. They were identified by Jeffrey’s sister, Danielle Wilder.

Jeffrey and her son were found dead early Thursday, each from gunshot wounds to the head.

[…]

Police Commissioner Anthony Batts said his officers “are not holding back,” despite encountering dangerous hostility in the Western District.

“Our officers tell me that when officers pull up, they have 30 to 50 people surrounding them at any time,” Batts said.

[This is the May 29 AP report cited elsewhere. In the face of such swarming tactics by “community organizers,” it is clear that ordinary police will not be able to restore even a modicum of order to Baltimore. For that, a military force with aggressive rules of engagement will be necessary. — PW]

Broward Brothers Get Stiff Sentences for NYC Terrorist Bomb Plot

By Paula McMahon

Two Broward County brothers were sentenced to the maximum punishment Thursday after admitting they planned a terrorist attack on New York City landmarks and later assaulted two deputy U.S. marshals in custody.

Raees Alam Qazi, 22, who played the lead role in the conspiracy and cycled around Manhattan looking for bomb targets was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison. That is three years more than he expected under the terms of his plea agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

His brother, Sheheryar Alam Qazi, 32, who provided support, was sentenced to a 20-year prison term, also three years more than expected.

U.S. District Judge Beth Bloom told the Pakistani-born men they had taken advantage of the benefits of U.S. citizenship to plot violence and hatred against their fellow-Americans.

[Regardless of their citizenship status, these creatures are emphatically not our “fellow Americans.” This was made abundantly clear by Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, then secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in a speech at Columbia University on Sept. 18, 2008: The Muslim Ummah, means the ‘community of the faithful’. It is a unique bond that has no similar example under any other political or religious system in the world. It is a belonging to ideals which bring Muslims together in an eternal brotherhood lock which transcends all other consideration of allegiance or loyalties or barriers of nationhood, ethnicity, geography or language. Accordingly, let us have done with talk of “Muslim Americans” and “American Muslims.” “American” and “Muslim” are two separate and incompatible entities, and a combination of them is no more possible than a cross-breed between a human being and an orangutan. — PW]

FBI: Men Who Plotted With Boston Terror Suspect Readily Admitted ISIS Support

Confronted by FBI agents hours after his uncle was killed by police, David Wright admitted that he was the one who got Usaamah Rahim interested in the terrorism perpetuated by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, according to a complaint filed in federal court this week.

Wright and a second man, Nicholas Rovinski, face charges in federal court accusing them of conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS or ISIL.

They were in on a plan with Rahim to behead anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller, authorities allege. Both were questioned by agents after Rahim was shot and killed by Boston police and FBI agents outside a Roslindale CVS on June 2.

Wright, of Everett, and Rovinski, of Rhode Island, readily admitted their allegiance to the Islamic State group, according to the complaint, which details recorded conversations between the three men.

[…]

In a conversation on a rainy Rhode Island beach, according to the agent, the three decided to behead Geller in New York, in order to go along with the Islamic State group’s call for action.

[A clear indication that, as it did in the Texas Muhammad cartoon contest attack, ISIS is ginning up terrorism in America by remote control, through social media. — PW]

Fifth Man Charged in New York in ISIS Recruitment Plot

NEW YORK — A fifth man pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges in New York City that he was involved in a plot to recruit U.S. fighters to join the Islamic State group.

Akmal Zakirov, 29, entered the plea in federal court in Brooklyn where he was ordered held without bail. His attorney declined comment.

In April, four other men — all from the former Soviet republics of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan — also pleaded not guilty in the same case to conspiring to provide material support to a terrorist organization.

An indictment accuses the men of trying to raise money to pay travel expenses for Islamic State recruits to travel to Syria to fight for the militant group. One of the defendants, Akhror Saidakhmetov, was carrying the cash when he was intercepted at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Feb. 25 trying to board a flight to Turkey, court papers say.

Electronic surveillance and other evidence revealed that in the days leading up Saidakhmetov’s departure, “multiple individuals transferred approximately $2,400 in total into Zakirov’s personal bank account,” the papers say.

After Zakirov was detained, he “admitted, in sum and in substance, that he knew that Saidakhmetov intended to travel to Syria to fight with ISIL and that he had contacted others in an effort to raise money to fund Saidakhmetov’s travel to join ISIL,” the papers say, referring to another name for the group.

Evidence also “suggests that Saidakhmetov is not the only person the defendant helped to fight violent jihad,” the papers add.

[And yet the importation of such creatures continues unabated, courtesy of the extensive State Department / Department of Justice / liberal church machine created for the purpose. — PW]

Iconic Gunmaker Colt is on the Brink of Bankruptcy

Colt, the iconic American gunmaker, could be bankrupt within days.

The company, that has been making guns for 160 years, has been struggling financially and missed a $10.9 million interest payment on its debt in mid-May.

Colt admitted, in a regulatory filing, that its failure to make that interest payment raises “substantial doubt about the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.” Colt also said it “may seek relief under the bankruptcy code.”

The company has a 30-day grace period until June 14 to make the interest payment after which it has to find a way to restructure the debt with its bondholders.

Kevin Starke, gun industry analyst for CRT, said that Colt had already signed a debt restructuring agreement with its bank, but a group of bondholders rejected it that would have dropped the bonds to 45% of their face value.

Starke said that bondholders are reluctant to agree to any pact that forces them to take a loss. That’s because they might have a better chance of recovering all or most of their money in bankruptcy, assuming that Colt gets sold for enough money to cover the $250 million worth of bonds and another $102 million in additional debt.

That could be possible if a buyer emerges from among its larger gunmaking rivals such as Smith & Wesson (SWHC) or Sturm Ruger (RGR).

Colt’s status in the gun industry and its role in American history cannot be overstated. The West Hartford manufacturer established by Sam Colt has been the most famous gunmaker in America since the 1840s, when the Texas Rangers adopted its revolver during their Wild West wars with Native Americans.

[The great old name may pass into history, but designs such as the single-action revolver and the 1911 automatic will live on. — PW]

Orville Tricks Popcorn Lovers With Non-GMO Claims

However, these companies didn’t fool one of the top watchdogs of GMO technology, the Institute for Responsible Technology (IRT). Jeffrey Smith, executive director and GMO expert, has assured people that even though almost 90% of corn grown and eaten in the USA is GMO corn, popcorn comes from a different seed, and it has NOT been genetically modified. Even better news, according to the IRT, popcorn does not cross-pollinate with GMO varieties of yellow and white corn either.

So while one can assume that snacks like Doritos are riddled with GMO corn, the good news is that all varieties of popcorn are currently not affected. That’s good news for the popcorn lover who would like to avoid any GMO products. However, conventional popcorn is a heavily sprayed crop, so it is still a wiser choice to choose organic anyway.

Pennsylvania Teachers Get Tax-Paid Training in Bowing to Allah

Fifty or so teachers and administrators with the Lebanon School District in Pennsylvania, including the superintendent, were just given a day of specialized training on Islam — at taxpayers’ expense— that wrapped with them hitting the floors of a local mosque, in the required shoeless fashion, and partaking of the faith’s call to prayer.

Or better yet, how about imaging this “what if” scenario: Fifty or so teachers and administrators with one Pennsylvania school district were just given a day of specialized training on the Baptist faith — at taxpayers’ expense — that wrapped with them hitting the sanctuary of a local church and joining the congregation in prayer.

Now is it outrageous?

Study Shows Cholesterol Drugs Cause Memory Loss; MSM Reports the Exact Opposite

(NaturalNews) A new study published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine (formerly Archives of Internal Medicine) has revealed that taking statin drugs for high cholesterol increases one’s risk of developing memory loss. But the mainstream media, funded in large part by pharmaceutical companies with billions of dollars in profits at stake, is claiming the exact opposite in order to trick the not-so-bright into continuing to take these deadly, ineffective drugs…

Statins linked to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, CoQ10 depletion, cancer and more It was recently exposed in the journal Expert Review of Clinical Pharmacology that statins don’t even work, by the way. Statin manufacturers have refined the art of pseudoscientific deception, researchers found, using what they call “statistical deception” to create the illusion that statins are safe and effective. This industry sleight of hand also masks the serious harms posed by these quack drugs.

One of these harms is diabetes, which a recent study published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine found is a common adverse effect triggered by statin drug use. The study’s lead author is quoted as saying that statin use is associated “with a significantly higher risk of new-onset diabetes, even in a very healthy population.”

The Rise and Fall of Al Jazeera America

by Daniel Greenfield

When Al Jazeera America was announced, the Qatari propaganda network was riding high. Once known as a dump for Al Qaeda videos, the Arab Spring had allowed the House of Thani to project its power across the region, toppling governments and replacing them with its Muslim Brotherhood allies.

Qatar had been notorious for its ties to Al Qaeda, but those connections had done little for the oil-rich oligarchy. The Muslim Brotherhood however handed Egypt over to Qatar. And Al Jazeera’s propaganda had been widely credited with supplying the images and messaging that made it happen.

Qatar’s key Arab Spring asset however had been in the White House. Mubarak would not have fallen if he had retained the support of the President of the United States. Nor would Gaddafi have been toppled or Assad have come under so much pressure without US military intervention or the expectation of it.

Al Jazeera America was going to be the final building block allowing the House of Thani to brainwash millions of Americans and influence foreign policy directly at the source. It was a grandiose dream for a tyranny that was increasingly living beyond its means while playing a dangerous game of empires.

Qatar had become the dominant voice on the Middle East in Washington D.C. The takeover of Gore’s left-wing Current TV would enable the totalitarian regime to launch a news network that would build on its existing relationship with the American left which saw the mainstream media as not biased enough.

How hard could launching a successful news network be?…

There’s Bipartisan Hatred Towards TPP … But Corrupt Congress Trying to Pass it, Anyway

The hatred of the Trans Pacific Partnership is widespread and bipartisan.

Unfortunately, neither Democratic or Republican Congress people represent the interests of the American people. Indeed, America is no longer a democracy or republic … it’s officially an oligarchy. And the allowance of unlimited campaign spending allows the oligarchs — even foreign ones — to purchase politicians more directly than ever.

So TPP will pass unless we raise hell.

Vaccine Fanatics Try to Keep Vaccine ‘Court’ Secret as More Parents Seek Compensation for Damages

It’s all about protecting the reputation of vaccines, after all, even when actual science shows that they come with serious risks. Lisa Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio, knows firsthand how damaging vaccines can be, having developed a neurological disease known as Guillain-Barre syndrome, or GBS, immediately after being jabbed for influenza.

Fortunately, Smith learned about the existence of the vaccine court, filed a case, and won. But the monetary award she received wasn’t paid out of pocket by the vaccine corporation that injured her with its deadly product, but rather it came from the 75-cent tax on every vaccine sold that’s paid directly by patients or by taxpayers.

Smith reportedly suffered severe nerve inflammation following her flu shot and developed pain that was the equivalent of third-degree burns on her legs, she recalls. At the hospital, Smith’s physicians admitted that GBS is a known, but rare, side effect of flu vaccines, and the vaccine court that heard Smith’s case agreed with this assessment.

West Baltimore’s Police Presence Drops, And Murders Soar

By Richard A. Oppel Jr.

BALTIMORE — From the steps of her New Bethlehem Baptist Church, the Rev. Lisa Weah looked down the block to the open-air drug market outside the bodega on the corner a few hundred feet away.

The traffic there had been slowing until the chaos that followed the death of Freddie Gray on April 19, after he was injured in police custody. Now it is back full-bore, and the police are often nowhere to be seen.

A month and a half after six officers were charged in Mr. Gray’s death, policing has dwindled in some of Baltimore’s most dangerous neighborhoods, and murders have risen to levels not seen in four decades. The totals include a 29-year-old man fatally shot on this drug corner last month. Police union officials say that officers are still coming to work, but that some feel a newfound reluctance and are stepping back, questioning whether they will be prosecuted for actions they take on the job.

Around the nation, communities and police departments are struggling to adapt to an era of heightened scrutiny, when every stop can be recorded on a cellphone. But residents, clergy members and neighborhood leaders say the past six weeks have made another reality clear: that as much as some officers regularly humiliated and infuriated many who live here, angering gang members and solid citizens alike, the solution has to be better policing, not a diminished police presence.

[…]

At least 55 people, the highest pace since the early 1970s, have been murdered in Baltimore since May 1, when the state’s attorney for the city, Marilyn J. Mosby, announced the criminal charges against the officers. Victims of shootings have included people involved in criminal activity and young children who were simply in the wrong place.

A 9-year-old boy was shot in the leg over the Memorial Day weekend. Another boy, Kester Browne, 7, a Chinese-language student at an international school in Baltimore, was fatally shot along with his mother, Jennifer Jeffrey-Browne, 31. They were two of the city’s 42 murder victims in May.

At the time of her announcement, Ms. Mosby’s charges were seen as calming the city. But they enraged the police rank and file, who pulled back.

[The police in Baltimore have not pulled back because of “rage.” They have pulled back because every time they roll up on a crime scene, 30-50 “community organizers” surround their car. Nowhere in this extensively reported story is that fact mentioned, though it appeared in a May 29 AP report. — PW]

Bilderberger: We “Welcome the General Interest in the Conference”

Email arrives from anonymous spokesperson behind 6 miles of checkpoints in the Austrian Alps.

In a statement provided to The Washington Times, a Bilderberg “spokesman” has claimed that the group is happy that the public is interested in its activities — a suggestion that flies in the face of the huge security operation surrounding the meeting and and total secrecy in which its dignitaries operate.

“While we understand and generally welcome the general interest in the conference, we simply cannot provide the levels of access or transparency that certain individuals or groups would like to see,” the anonymous spokesman writes in an email.

“To encourage the highest level of openness and dialogue among the participants, and to keep the private character of the meetings, all participants respect the Chatham House Rule.” the statement also notes.

The idea that Bilderberg welcomes any kind of interest in its activities is laughable when one takes a brief look at the effort the group has gone to this year in Austria to hide away from the public eye.

The Interalpen Hotel is set half way up a secluded mountain in the Alps. Over 2000 police officers have erected 6 miles of security checkpoints around the venue, and have declared the roads and trails all around the hotel a no-go zone, with the threat of prison or hefty fines for anyone found roaming around.

And for good measure, the Kronen-Zeitung tabloid cited the military as saying a “special low-altitude radar is in position and Kiowa helicopters armed with machine guns are carrying out patrols”.

This hardly seems like a group that is welcoming any kind of attention, and is such a level of security really needed for what the anonymous Bilderberg spokesman claims is just upscale schmoozing?

[Comment: Laughing at the public since they believe there is noting the useless eaters can do about their machinations.]

Bilderberg 2015: Where Criminals Mingle With Ministers

I had three Austrian policemen in my hotel room last night. They stood there all grim faced with their fluorescent bibs, torches and sidearms. It was like the worst ever fancy dress party. I offered them a pilsner. They declined. They were too busy checking my ID that had been carefully checked 10 minutes prior at a police checkpoint. And carefully checked two minutes prior to that, at another police checkpoint.

This third check took so long, it was so late, and my patience was so thin, that eventually I took my shirt and trousers off in front of the officers. “I’m having a shower,” I explained, and went and had one. When I’d finished, I came out in my towel, thinking they might be gone. They weren’t. “Put your clothes on please and come to your car.” This party wasn’t getting any better.

Interior Minister Petteri Orpo told Yle on Wednesday morning that careful consideration needs to be given to allowing the return Finns who have taken part in the fighting in Syria.

“I think that if there is a clear indication and information that someone has participated in the war or in terrorist activities, then my view is that very serious consideration should be given to what their prospects are — that is, can their return be allowed, and if they return what kind of measures should be undertaken,” Petteri Orpo stated.

According to Interior Minister Orpo, his ministry has fairly specific information concerning Finns who have gone to Syrian warzones.

After being flagged yet again for a vehicle search, Infowars reporter Rob Dew noticed the passport photos of himself, Josh Owens and Paul Joseph Watson prominently placed on the interior wall of the officers’ checkpoint booth.

“If you look inside their little office… my passport, Dew’s passport and Watson’s passport and a picture of the car plate is the only thing on the entire wall,” Owens explained. “There’s a map of the place, our pictures on the wall, that’s it.”

Despite other journalists and attendees staying in the area, Owens noted that only pictures of Infowars reporters were posted by police.

“There are other people staying up here. Charlie Skelton is staying up here, other people are staying up here and there passports aren’t on the wall,” Owens added.

Since arriving this week, the Infowars team has been subjected to numerous stops and searches by police and federal law enforcement.

Muslims in the Arctic Circle Urgently Coming Up With New Rules for Forthcoming Ramadan When They Are Banned From Eating During the Day… as the Region Will Have 24-Hour Sunshine

Muslims in the Arctic Circle are urgently coming up with new rules for Ramadan when they are banned from eating during the day — as the region will have 24-hour sunshine.

A Swedish Muslim association says new guidelines are being drawn up for the fasting month, which begins on June 18 this year, as members of the religion are not supposed to eat until sunset.

Just three days later is the longest day of the year — when the sun blazes around the clock above the Arctic Circle and only sets for a few hours further south.

In previous years Muslims in sub-Arctic towns like Kiruna were advised to break their fast at the same time as people in the south but a meeting of Swedish and European imams in northern Sweden this week recommended a new approach.

‘Now you should go by the last time the sun clearly set and rose,’ said Kharraki, adding that detailed guidelines were still being worked out and could also involve breaking the fast in the early evening to be more in line with the rest of the world.

Spain: A400M Probe Focuses on Impact of Accidental Data Wipe

A fatal A400M crash was linked to data-wipe mistake during an engine software update. A military plane crash in Spain was probably caused by computer files being accidentally wiped from three of its engines, according to investigators. Plane-maker Airbus discovered anomalies in the A400M’s data logs after the crash, suggesting a software fault. And it has now emerged that Spanish investigators suspect files needed to interpret its engine readings had been deleted by mistake. This would have caused the affected propellers to spin too slowly causing loss of power and eventually, a crash.

At the heart of the investigation are crucial computer files that tell Europe’s new military carrier, developed at a cost of 20 billion euros ($22.50-billion), how to control its four engines, people familiar with the matter told Reuters.

Computers operating each engine cannot work if this data, which is unique to each of the turboprops, is missing.

Investigations are at an early stage but the key scenario being examined is that the data — known as “torque calibration parameters” — was accidentally wiped on three engines as the engine software was being installed at Airbus facilities.

The True Story of the Bilderberg Group

Delving into a world once shrouded in complete mystery and impenetrable security, this investigative report provides a fascinating account of the annual meetings of the world’s most powerful people—the Bilderberg Group. Since its inception in 1954 at the Bilderberg Hotel in the small Dutch town of Oosterbeek, the Bilderberg Group has been comprised of European prime ministers, American presidents, and the wealthiest CEOs of the world, all coming together to discuss the economic and political future of humanity. The working press has never been allowed to attend, nor have statements ever been released on the attendees’ conclusions or discussions, which have ramifications on the citizens of the world. Using methods that resemble the spy tactics of the Cold War—and in several instances putting his own life on the line—the author did what no one else has managed to achieve: he learned what was being said behind the closed doors of the opulent hotels and has made it available to the public. This second edition includes an entirely new chapter and updated information on topics such as an earlier attempt to break up Canada and the portents of a North American union.

[Comment: Best investigative book about this shadowy group. Don’t expect an investigative feature in mainstream media on such groups. Consolidation of media ownership has ensured information is kept from the public. ‘Google’ the Rockefeller quote thanking media for keep quiet on the machinations of the globalists. ]

Sources: ISIS Terrorists Using Chaotic Libya as New ‘Route to the West’

By Adam Housley

EXCLUSIVE: Islamic State terrorists are said to be using Libya as an “entry point” into Europe, with intelligence sources on the ground in Africa telling Fox News at least 30 ISIS fighters who left from the country have been “picked up” by the Italians in recent weeks.

The purported terrorists all claimed refugee status but American ?and European agents believe this is a clear indication that ISIS terrorists have come into Europe virtually untouched.

“There is no way you can block it,” one told Fox News. “Libya is now an easy entry point into the E.U. and ultimately into the U.S. for ISIS. They are saying, this is the way to America.”

One special operator in the region told Fox News, “It’s a new ISIS route to the West.”

ISIS’s Deadliest Atrocity: 600 Bodies Confirmed Found Following ‘Worst Massacre’ By Jihadists

The bodies of almost 600 victims from one of the worst atrocities ever committed by the Isis militant group have been exhumed from sites in northern Iraq, officials have said.

Speaking at a press conference in Baghdad, Iraq’s human rights minister Mohammed al-Bayati gave the latest update on a body count that is expected to continue to rise — possibly even double.

The bodies are all those of young air cadets, massacred after the fall of the northern city of Tikrit to Isis almost exactly one year ago.

Tikrit, famous for being the home town of Saddam Hussein, fell to the so-called “Islamic State” on 12 June 2014, two days after the larger city of Mosul, now the group’s biggest stronghold in Iraq.

Jihadist Attack on Syria’s Druze Population Could Spur Israel to Act

The latest religious minority to be caught in the Syrian crossfire are the Druze, who have long enjoyed the protection of the Assad regime, but now find themselves under attack from the Al Qaeda-linked Al Nusra Front and could soon look to Israel for help.

The slaughter Wednesday of more than 20 members of Syria’s Druze community, a monotheistic religion that incorporates elements including philosophy, Judaisim, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism, could signal a coming humanitarian crisis, according to officials in Israel, which has a sizeable Druze population of its own. With embattled President Bashar al-Assad pulling forces back to defend Damascus, the nation’s estimated 700,000 Druze have no protection should the terrorist groups fighting to take over the nation turn their attention to them, as they have Christians and Kurds.

“We are the only non-Jewish minority that is drafted into the military, and we have an even higher percentage in the combat units and as officers than the Jewish members themselves,” Israeli Druze poet Reda Mansour, currently Israel’s ambassador to Brazil, said in 2008. “So we are considered a very nationalistic, patriotic community.”

US Spending on Islamic State Fight Totals $2.7bn

The US spends more than $9m (£5.7m) a day on the war against Islamic State, and has poured $2.7bn (£1.7bn) into the bombing campaign since the start.

An international coalition has been conducting air strikes in Iraq and Syria since last August.

The first breakdown of US costs, released by the Pentagon, show that two-thirds of the total bill has gone to the Air Force.

It came as Congress rejected legislation banning further spending.

The US House of Representative approved a $579bn defence spending bill.

It rejected an amendment calling for a stop to cash going on the fight against IS unless Congress passed a new authorisation for the use of force.

Yemen: Saudi Airstrike Hits UNESCO World Heritage

The bombs and missiles of the Saudi-led Arab coalition on Friday killed civilians in Yemen and for the first time hit the historic Old City of the capital.

Three buildings of a World Heritage site were razed to the ground and a fourth collapsed. UNESCO condemned the act immediately.

‘‘I am profoundly distressed by the loss of human lives as well as by the damage inflicted on one of the world’s oldest jewels of Islamic urban landscape,’’ UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova said in a statement. Six people were killed, none of whom armed.

Giovanni Puglisi, head of the Italian national commission for UNESCO, noted that ‘‘we are not facing the Islamic State (ISIS) bandits destroying cultural heritage. We are dealing with a Saudi-led coalition that, in reaction to terrorists’ acts of war and as part of a scorched earth policy, destroy the cultural heritage of the historic Yemeni city.’’ ‘‘This is much more serious and worrisome than others due to its unusual nature,’’ he said.

Iran Reportedly Stepping Up Shipments of Arms, Cash to Taliban

The Iranian government reportedly has stepped up shipments of weapons and money to the Taliban in Afghanistan in recent months.

According to The Wall Street Journal, which cited Afghan and Western officials in its report, Iran’s motivations for stepping up support for the militants are to prevent ISIS from gaining a foothold in Afghanistan and providing a check on U.S. influence ahead of the planned withdrawal of most American troops by the end of 2016.

The report quotes a Taliban fighter as saying that the militants receive weapons from smugglers paid by Iran’s government who traffic the contraband through the remote border region where Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan meet. Among the weapons Taliban units allegedly receive are mortars, machine guns, rifles, and rocket-propelled grenades.

Pakistan: Two Suicide Bombers Blow Themselves Up When Getting Into a Fight With One Another After Putting on Their Explosive Vests

By Jenny Stanton

Two would-be suicide bombers have died in Pakistan after an explosive device detonated as they fought each other, it has been reported.

The two men were killed in an explosion near Khayam Chowk in Sargodha, in the country’s Punjab province on Saturday morning.

Eyewitnesses claim the men, who were believed to have been wearing suicide vests, were sitting on a bench engaged in discussion before their deaths.

It is thought the two men began to fight and an improvised explosive device was triggered.

Following the blast, emergency services were called to the scene and the area was cordoned off.

Zimbabwe Dollars Phased Out

Zimbabwe is phasing out its local currency, the central bank says, formalising a multi-currency system introduced during hyper-inflation.

Foreign currencies like the US dollar and South African rand have been used for most transactions since 2009.

Local dollars are not used except high-denomination notes sold as souvenirs.

But from Monday, Zimbabweans can exchange bank accounts of up to 175 quadrillion (175,000,000,000,000,000) Zimbabwean dollars for five US dollars.

Higher balances will be exchanged at a rate of Z$35 quadrillion to US$1.

Plan B for Burden-Sharing Under Discussion

BRUSSELS — EU member states are working on alternatives to the European Commission’s proposal for relocation of asylum seekers from Italy and Greece.

The aim is to work out a ‘Plan B’ able to get the talks out of their current stalemate, though it is likely a minority that is causing the deadlock. EU sources say that an unofficial passage will be discussed at the EU interior ministers meeting on Tuesday. According to what came out of preparatory meetings for the meeting, say the sources, out of the 28 countries only three — Great Britain, Ireland and Denmark — made use of a clause to opt out, while a dozen were against and three did not express an opinion.

The latter included Latvia, which has the European Council presidency until June 30. ‘‘All the states agree that there is the need to do something for asylum seekers,’’ the source said, ‘‘but migration is a very sensitive political issue at the national level in all countries and the obligatory nature of the Commission’s proposal is seen as the latest ‘diktat’ from Brussels, heavily affecting support.’’

The Rogue Federal Government

[…] the goal of the federal government is no longer to govern on behalf of the best interest of the American people. It is mainly geared toward making life as difficult for American born sovereign citizens as possible. While at taxpayer expense is providing everything imaginable for illegal immigrants and American hating so-called muslim refugees. It has been estimated that there are well over thirty million illegal immigrants living off of tax dollars gleaned from working American tax payers.

Allied nations like New Zealand and Australia have expressed an increasing level of anxiety over the United States suffering under the Obama regime. From day one of his presidency, Mr. Obama has kept America on course for an economic collapse or a possible military defeat at the hands of anyone who wants to take her on in conflict. Both Australia and New Zealand are under increasing pressure from China to ditch the United States as their military ally…

But as deviant as those developments are concerning the federal government, the refugee resettlement program ranks near the top, amongst the government’s many acts of disregard for American interest. For years, the federal government at taxpayer expense has been bringing in so-called refugees from Syria and Somalia. But during more recent years, the resettlement program has become an even wider door for policy for terrorist who want to come in to our republic, set up shop and wait for a chosen time to wreak havoc.

Forbidden at the University of California: “America is the Land of Opportunity”

The progressive storm troopers at the University of California are ramping up their PC agenda. A faculty seminar discussing “diversity in the classroom” held at nine of the 10 UC campuses during the 2014-2015 school year came with a worksheet entitled “Tool: Recognizing Microagressions and the Messages They Send.” “Microaggressions are the everyday verbal, nonverbal, and environmental slights, snubs, or insults, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative messages to target persons based solely upon their marginalized group membership,” states the opening sentence. The ultimate cure for such “hurtful” behavior? Tossing free speech on the ash heap of history.

The worksheet is divided into three columns, Themes, Microagression Examples, and Message. In one Theme section, under the subheading of “Ascription of Intelligence,” professors are informed about the potential pain engendered by “Assigning intelligence to a person of color or a woman based on his/her race/gender.”

And just in case professors are insufficiently erudite or “sensitive” enough to figure out exactly what produces such suffering among the student to whom they are tasked with disseminating this newfound wisdom, faculty trainers provide specific Microagression Examples.

Will the Supreme Court Put Itself on the Wrong Side of History?

The Left likes to flatter itself by asserting that the push for gay “marriage” is about liberty. Indeed, they have been quite successful in convincing themselves that it is the “new civil rights struggle,” as if the push for a special redefinition of marriage for the benefit of a group of people who choose their lifestyle and who already enjoyed equality before the law and the full panoply of constitutional liberties, and who are in fact more well-off than the average American, can in any way, shape, or form compare their experience with an entire race of people (born that way) who spent several centuries in slavery, and then another century after that being cheated of the civil rights that they had been promised but never really given. Please. What tone-deaf, illiterate nonsense on the part of the gays and their supporters.

Instead (as I have been pointing out for years, and which recent months have been proving me right about), the radical gay agenda is antithetical to our constitutional rights. Freedom of religion? Nope. Freedom of association? Nope. Freedom of speech? Nope. The Left has systematically been setting out to use the power of government to curtail exactly those constitutional liberties that would allow folks to live their own lives apart from having to support the gay agenda, among other things, with which they disagree. Gay “marriage” has been playing a huge, huge part in this destruction of liberty.

In doing this, the Supreme Court will be mimicking in spirit an earlier terrible ruling that also set back the cause of the expansion of genuine liberty in America for decades—the case of Dred Scott v. Sandford.

Were Dinosaurs Warm-Blooded? New Study Fuels Debate

Dinosaurs were once thought to be the cold-blooded kings of the Mesozoic era. But new research on their growth rates suggests the prehistoric beasts grew just as fast as mammals, indicating they were warm-blooded creatures.

However, not everyone agrees with the results, and some paleontologists suggest dinosaurs fell in the middle of the cold-blooded (ectotherm) and warm-blooded (endotherm) spectrum, making them intermediate-blooded (mesotherms).
