An Unconstitutional Law Is Null and Void

The post below does not fall under the main topic of our mission statement, but it is important nonetheless. The slow red-blue fracturing of the United States, and the coming conflict that will inevitably result from it, are topics that cannot be ignored.

Dedicated adherents of the Second Amendment are all that stand between the American people and full tyranny. Several states have already passed laws placing limits on the ownership of firearms and/or requiring gun registration (read: confiscation). There is quiet but strong resistance to such laws — an unknown number of patriots are determined not to obey unconstitutional laws just because the tyrants who have usurped power demand that they do so.

Connecticut, of all places, has moved into the forefront of the resistance. Who would have thought it of such a blue state?

The spirit that built this country is not dead, although it is currently under siege.

The following post was published yesterday at Sipsey Street Irregulars. Because it is so inspiring and so important, I am reproducing the entire text here. Please visit their blog and take a look at all the other excellent pieces they have to offer.

An Open Letter to the Men and Women of the Connecticut State Police: You are NOT the enemy (UNLESS YOU CHOOSE TO BE.)

The following letter was sent via email to members of the Connecticut State Police, Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection. There are 1,212 email addresses on the list. There were 62 bounce-backs.

15 February 2014

To the men and women of the Connecticut State Police and the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection:

My name is Mike Vanderboegh. Few of you will know who I am, or even will have heard of the Three Percent movement that I founded, though we have been denounced on the national stage by that paragon of moral virtue, Bill Clinton. Three Percenters are uncompromising firearm owners who have stated very plainly for years that we will obey no further encroachments on our Second Amendment rights. Some of you, if you read this carelessly, may feel that it is a threat. It is not. Three Percenters also believe that to take the first shot in a conflict over principle is to surrender the moral high ground to the enemy. We condemn so-called collateral damage and terrorism such as that represented by the Oklahoma City Bombing and the Waco massacre. We are very aware that if you seek to defeat evil it is vital not to become the evil you claim to oppose. Thus, though this letter is certainly intended to deal with an uncomfortable subject, it is not a threat to anyone. However, it is important for everyone to understand that while we promise not to take the first shot over principle, we make no such promise if attacked, whether by common criminals or by the designated representatives of a criminal government grown arrogant and tyrannical and acting out an unconstitutional agenda under color of law. If we have any model, it is that of the Founding generation. The threat to public order and safety, unfortunately, comes from the current leaders of your state government who unthinkingly determined to victimize hitherto law-abiding citizens with a tyrannical law. They are the ones who first promised violence on the part of the state if your citizens did not comply with their unconstitutional diktat. Now, having made the threat (and placed the bet that you folks of the Connecticut State Police will meekly and obediently carry it out) they can hardly complain that others take them seriously and try by every means, including this letter, to avoid conflict.

Some of you are already working a major case on me, trying to figure out how I may be arrested for violating Conn. P.A. 13-3, which bears the wildly dishonest title of “An Act Concerning Gun Violence Prevention and Children’s Safety.” (What part of “protecting children” is accomplished by sparking a civil war?) Not only have I personally violated this unconstitutional and tyrannical act by smuggling and by the encouragement of smuggling, defiance and non-compliance on the part of your state’s citizens, but I have further irritated your wannabe tyrant bosses by sending them standard capacity magazines in my “Toys for Totalitarians” program. I further have annoyed them by pointing out — and seeking more evidence of — the existence of Mike Lawlor’s KGB file (as well as his FBI and CIA counter-intelligence files). In short, I have made myself a nuisance to your bosses in just about every way I could think of. However, their discomfiture reminds me of the wisdom of that great American philosopher of the late 20th Century, Frank Zappa, who said, “Do you love it? Do you hate it? There it is, the way you made it.” Whether you will be able to make a case on me that sticks is, of course, problematic for a number of reasons which I will detail to you in the letter below. I have already done so to your bosses and include the links in this email so that you may easily access them.

But even if you are not working on my case you will want to pay attention to this letter, because tyrannical politicians in your state have been writing checks with their mouths that they expect you to cash with your blood. We have moved, thanks to them, into a very dangerous undiscovered country. Connecticut is now in a state of cold civil war, one that can flash to bloody conflict in an instant if someone, anyone, does something stupid. So please pay attention, for Malloy and Co. have put all your asses on the line and are counting on your supine obedience to the enforcement of their unconstitutional diktat.

I apparently first came to your attention with this speech on the steps of your state capitol on 20 April 2013. It was very well received by the audience but virtually ignored by the lapdog press of your state. If I may, I’d like to quote some of the more salient points of it that involve you.

“An unconstitutional law is void.” It has no effect. So says American Jurisprudence, the standard legal text. And that’s been upheld by centuries of American law. An unconstitutional law is VOID. Now that is certainly true. But the tricky part is how do we make that point when the local, state and federal executive and legislative branches as well as the courts are in the hands of the domestic enemies of the Constitution. Everyone who is currently trying to take away your right to arms starts out by saying “I support the 2nd Amendment.” Let me tell you a home truth that we know down in Alabama — Barack Obama supports the 2nd Amendment just about as much as Adolf Hitler appreciated Jewish culture, or Joseph Stalin believed in individual liberty. Believe what politicians do, not what they say. Because the lie is the attendant of every evil. . .

Before this year no one thought that other firearms and related items would ever be banned — but they were, they have been. No one thought that the authorities of your state would pass laws making criminals out of the previously law-abiding — but they did. If they catch you violating their unconstitutional laws, they will — when they please — send armed men to work their will upon you. And people — innocent of any crime save the one these tyrants created — will die resisting them.

You begin to see, perhaps, how you fit into this. YOU are the “armed men” that Malloy and Company will send “to work their will” upon the previously law-abiding. In other words, this law takes men and women who are your natural allies in support of legitimate law enforcement and makes enemies of the state of them, and bully boy political police of you. So you all have a very real stake in what happens next. But let me continue:

The Founders knew how to answer such tyranny. When Captain John Parker — one of the three percent of American colonists who actively took the field against the King during the Revolution — mustered his Minutemen on Lexington Green, it was in a demonstration of ARMED civil disobedience. . . The colonists knew what to do and they did it, regardless of the risk — regardless of all the King’s ministers and the King’s soldiery. They defied the King. They resisted his edicts. They evaded his laws and they smuggled. Lord above, did they smuggle.

Now we find ourselves in a similar situation. The new King Barack and his minions have determined to disarm us. We must determine to resist them. No one wants a new civil war (except, apparently, the anti-constitutional tyrants who passed these laws and the media toadies who cheer them on) but one is staring us in the face. Let me repeat that, a civil war is staring us in the face. To think otherwise is to whistle past the graveyard of our own history. We must, if we wish to avoid armed conflict, get this message across to the collectivists who have declared their appetites for our liberty, our property and our lives — WHEN DEMOCRACY TURNS TO TYRANNY, THE ARMED CITIZEN STILL GETS TO VOTE.

Just like King George, such people will not care, nor modify their behavior, by what you say, no matter how loudly or in what numbers you say it. They will only pay attention to what you DO. So defy them. Resist their laws. Evade them. Smuggle in what they command you not to have. Only by our ACTS will they be impressed. Then, if they mean to have a civil war, they will at least have been informed of the unintended consequences of their tyrannical actions. Again I say — Defy. Resist. Evade. Smuggle. If you wish to stay free and to pass down that freedom to your children’s children you can do no less than to become the lawbreakers that they have unconstitutionally made of you. Accept that fact. Embrace it. And resolve to be the very best, most successful lawbreakers you can be.

Well, I guess at least some of my audience that day took my message to heart. As Connecticut newspapers have finally begun reporting — “Untold Thousands Flout Gun Registration Law” — and national commentators are at last noticing, my advice to defy, resist and evade this intolerable act is well on the way. The smuggling, as modest as it is, I can assure is also happening. This law is not only dangerous it is unenforceable by just about any standard you care to judge it by. Let’s just look at the numbers mentioned in the Courant story.

By the end of 2013, state police had received 47,916 applications for assault weapons certificates, Lt. Paul Vance said. An additional 2,100 that were incomplete could still come in.

That 50,000 figure could be as little as 15 percent of the rifles classified as assault weapons owned by Connecticut residents, according to estimates by people in the industry, including the Newtown-based National Shooting Sports Foundation. No one has anything close to definitive figures, but the most conservative estimates place the number of unregistered assault weapons well above 50,000, and perhaps as high as 350,000.

And that means as of Jan. 1, Connecticut has very likely created tens of thousands of newly minted criminals — perhaps 100,000 people, almost certainly at least 20,000 — who have broken no other laws. By owning unregistered guns defined as assault weapons, all of them are committing Class D felonies.

“I honestly thought from my own standpoint that the vast majority would register,” said Sen. Tony Guglielmo, R-Stafford, the ranking GOP senator on the legislature’s public safety committee. “If you pass laws that people have no respect for and they don’t follow them, then you have a real problem.”

This blithering idiot of a state senator is, as I warned Mike Lawlor the other day, extrapolating. It is a very dangerous thing, extrapolation, especially when you are trying to predict the actions of an enemy you made yourself whom you barely recognize let alone understand. I told Lawlor:

You, you silly sod, are extrapolating from your own cowardice. Just because you wouldn’t risk death for your principles, doesn’t mean there aren’t folks who most certainly will. And, not to put too fine a point on it, but folks who are willing to die for their principles are most often willing to kill in righteous self-defense of them as well. You may be ignorant of such people and their ways. You may think that they are insane. But surely even you cannot be so clueless that, insane or not from your point-of-view, such people DO exist and in numbers unknown. This is the undiscovered country that you and your tyrannical ilk have blundered into, like clueless kindergarteners gaily (no pun intended) tap-dancing in a well-marked mine field. The Founders marked the mine field. Is it our fault or yours that you have blithely ignored the warnings? If I were a Connecticut state policeman I would be wondering if the orders of a possible KGB mole throwback were worth the terminal inability to collect my pension. Of course, you may be thinking that you can hide behind that “thin blue line.” Bill Clinton’s rules of engagement say otherwise.

The odds are, and it gives me no particular satisfaction to say it, is that someone is going to get killed over your unconstitutional misadventures in Connecticut. And if not Connecticut, then New York, or Maryland, or California or Colorado. And once the civil war you all apparently seek is kicked off, it would not be — it could not be — confined to one state.

This is not a threat, of course. Not the personal, actionable threat that you may claim. It ranks right along with — no, that’s wrong, IT IS EXACTLY LIKE — an ex-con meeting me in the street and pointing to my neighbor’s house saying, “Tonight I am going to break in there, kill that man, rape his wife and daughters and steal everything that he is, has, or may become.” I warn him, “If you try to do that, he will kill you first. He may not look like much, but I know him to be vigilant and perfectly capable of blowing your head off.” That is not a threat from me. It is simply good manners. Consider this letter in the same vein. I am trying to save you from yourself.

For, like that common criminal, you have announced by your unconstitutional law and your public statements in favor of its rigorous enforcement that you have a tyrannical appetite for your neighbors’ liberty, property and lives. It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see that this policy, if carried to your announced conclusion, will not end well for anybody, but especially for you.

Now let’s examine those numbers in the Courant story. You know the size of the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection. Wikipedia tells us that “CSP currently has approximately 1,248 troopers, and is headquartered in Middletown, Connecticut. It is responsible for protecting the Governor of Connecticut, Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut, and their families.” There are but 1,212 email addresses listed on the state website to which this email is going, which presumably includes everyone including secretaries, receptionists, file clerks, technicians, etc. Now, how many shooters for raid parties you may find among that one thousand, two hundred and forty eight that Wikipedia cites, or whatever number will be on the payroll when something stupid happens, only you know for sure. I’ll let you do the counting. They are daunting odds in any case, and as you will see, they get more daunting as we go down this road that Malloy and Company have arranged for you. (By the way, don’t forget to subtract those on the Green Zone protective details, for your political masters will certainly see their survival as your mission number one.) So, how many folks would your superiors be interested in seeing you work their will upon? And of these, how many will fight regardless of cost?

Let’s assume that there are 100,000 non-compliant owners of military pattern semi-automatic rifles in your state. I think it is a larger number but 100,000 has a nice round ring to it. Let us then apply the rule of three percent to that number — not to the entire population of your state, not even to the number of firearm owners, but just to that much smaller demonstrated number of resistors. That leaves you with at least 3,000 men and women who will shoot you if you try to enforce this intolerable act upon them. Of course you will have to come prepared to shoot them. That’s a given. They know this. So please understand: THEY. WILL. SHOOT. YOU. (In what they believe is righteous self defense.) Now, if any of them follow Bill Clinton’s rules of engagement and utilize the principles of 4th Generation Warfare, after the first shots are fired by your raid parties, they will not be home when you come to call. These people will be targeting, according to the 4GW that many of them learned while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, the war makers who sent you. This gets back to that “when democracy turns to tyranny, the armed citizenry still gets to vote.” One ballot, or bullet, at a time.

This is all hypothetical, of course, based upon the tyrants’ appetites for these hitherto law-abiding citizens’ liberty, property and lives as well as upon your own willingness to enforce their unconstitutional diktat. And here’s where you can do something about it. The first thing you have to realize is that the people you will be targeting do not view you as the enemy. Indeed, you are NOT their enemy, unless you choose to be one.

Again, an unconstitutional law is null and void. Of course you may if you like cling to the slim fact that a single black-robed bandit has ruled the Intolerable Act as constitutional in Shew vs. Malloy, but that will not matter to those three percent of the resistors — your fellow citizens — whom you target. They no longer expect a fair trial in your state in any case, which leaves them, if they wish to defend their liberty, property and lives, only the recourse of an unfair firefight. So to cite Shew vs. Malloy at the point of a state-issued firearm to such people is, well, betting your life on a very slender reed.

Thus, my kindly advice to you, just as it was to Lawlor, is to not go down that road. You are not the enemy of the people of Connecticut, not yet. The politicians who jammed this law down the peoples’ throats are plainly flummoxed by the resistance it has engendered. In the absence of a definitive U.S. Supreme Court decision do you really want to risk not being able to draw your pension over some politician’s insatiable appetite for power?

There are many ways you can refuse to get caught up in this. Passive resistance, looking the other way, up to and including outright refusal to execute what is a tyrannical law that a higher court may yet find unconstitutional and therefore null and void. Do you really want to have to kill someone enforcing THAT? Just because you were ordered to do so? After Nuremberg, that defense no longer obtains. (You may say, “Well, I’m just a secretary, a clerk, you can’t blame me for anything.” Kindly recall from Nuremberg one other lesson: raid parties cannot break down doors unless someone like you prepares the list in advance. In fact, you have at your keyboard and in your databases more raw, naked power than any kick-in-the-door trooper. And with that power comes moral responsibility. Adolf Eichmann didn’t personally kill anyone. But he darn sure made up the lists and saw to it that trains ran on time. When the first Connecticut citizen (or, God forbid, his family) is killed as a result of your list-making, do you think that because you didn’t pull the trigger that gives you a moral pass?)

So I call on you all, in your own best interest and that of your state, to refuse to enforce this unconstitutional law. There are a number of Three Percenters within the Connecticut state government, especially its law enforcement arms. I know that there have been many discussions around water-coolers and off state premises about the dangers that this puts CT law enforcement officers in and what officers should do if ordered to execute raids on the previously law-abiding.

You have it within your power to refuse to initiate hostilities in an American civil war that would, by its very nature, be ghastly beyond belief and would unleash hatreds and passions that would take generations to get over, if then.

Please, I beg you to understand, you are not the enemy, you are not an occupying force — unless you choose to violate the oath that each of you swore to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. For their part, the men and women who will be targeted by your raids took an identical oath. Can you think of anything more tragic than brother killing brother over some politician’s tyrannical appetite?

I can’t. The future — yours, mine, our children’s, that of the citizens of Connecticut and indeed of the entire country — is in YOUR hands.

At the very least, by your refusal you can give the courts time to work before proceeding into an unnecessary civil war against your own friends and neighbors on the orders of a self-anointed elite who frankly don’t give a s*** about you, your life, your future or that of your family. They wouldn’t pass these laws if they thought that they would have to risk the potential bullet that their actions have put you in the path of. They count on you to take that bullet, in service of their power and their lies. Fool them. Just say no to tyranny. You are not the enemy. Don’t act like one.

Sincerely,

  1. Although my comment doesn’t pertain to the main topic of this post, it does pertain to the main focus of this site. When the author of this lengthy letter to our ruling betters refers to the Oklahoma City bombing he has forgotten that we get lied to by our government quite frequently, and that Oklahoma City is a prime example. If you read “The Third Terrorist” by OK City investigative television reporter Jayna Davis you will come to the conclusion that the probability that this attack was an Islamist operation exceeds 95%. In fact, by the time you finish reading the book you will only have two major questions: (1) was Iraq or Iran the major sponsor of this attack and (2) who ordered the rather obvious deliberate cover-up of Islamist involvement by the FBI and the Justice Department? And if you don’t read the book, all you need to ask yourself is this: do I believe that these two loser clowns, McVeigh and Nichols, are capable of planning and executing such an attack on their own, including the design and construction of a highly-sophisticated truck bomb capable of bringing down a 10-story building? And further, when asked to deliver an indictment of McVeigh and Nichols why would an Oklahoma City Grand Jury instead return the unasked for indictment of McVeigh, Nichols “…and unindicted co-conspirators”?

If you are paying attention to politics lately and especially the topic of Obamacare you are probably aware that the Federal Government in general and Democrats in particular have absolutely no problem in peddling the most outrageous lies imaginable to the public. And when Davis, with the assistance of a former Federal District Attorney, tried to get Republicans interested in re-opening the OK City investigation she got nowhere. There was no interest in making both sides of the aisle, the FBI, the Justice Department, etc., look bad. And there are simply some things, quite a few things actually, that our government would just as soon not let the public know.

    • I’m not sure how “sophisticated” the bomb was that Tim McVeigh left in the truck he parked in front of the federal building in Oklahoma City. Most of the sophistication required for bombing success has to do with concealment on the bomber’s body, and non-detectability by airport security scanners. The bomb that McVeigh built consisted of a truck full of fertilizer and diesel fuel, plus a detonator, which could be improvised according to instructions given to farmers by the Department of Agriculture to be used for removing tree trunks. (Just for the record, I’m not trying to give anyone ideas and don’t want to be part of any plot against the government. And in the words of Sergeant Schulz, “I know NOTHING!!!”)

      • I don’t know much about bombs, either, but I used to have to sign for my 5 lb bag of fertilizer at Southern States. As you know, Juden, Virginia soil doesn’t grown much on its own besides cedars and dogwoods and redbuds. Everything else needs help. Lots of it.

        OT (and compulsive):

Juden knows nothing, but can anyone tell me how much fertilizer Breivik bought in his trip(s) to Poland? Does anyone know where he got the money for his ‘farm’ and his truck?

He’s my personally favorite terrorist. The others seem more random. But Breivik? He’s the release valve for naive but relentlessly niceniceNorway™ and they have no more clue about his reality than Connecticut does about the Newtown killer. You can tell the level of their cluelessness by noticing they have him in a prison rather than in a hospital for the criminally insane, which is where he belongs.

Breivik is what you get when the Norwegians, with too much money and time, join hands with the gonzo American intel who are tasked with building loneWHITErightwingextremists to satisfy the State Departments needs to invent what they cannot find in real life.

But the strictures of Norwegian life for young ethnic males are such that they may be able to make their own by now. The clever ones flee to safer, kinder climes.

Certainly we are going to continue creating them here. It’s obvious Connecticut is clueless, driving down the wrong side of the road with their headlights off determined to go BOOM!

    • I have read that book and agree with your summation. There is also the bringing down of TWA Flight 800 out of New York, which was the recent subject of an expose by Aussie based 60 Minutes. The NTSB was shunted aside and the FBI that had previous experience in determining plane crashes was given the task of investigating that incident.

None of the witness testimony that indicated missiles flying into that 747 prior to its explosion and destruction, which obviously indicate a terrorist attack, were accepted by the FBI. Why?

The undermining of that investigation by removing the most able investigators who would no doubt have arrived at a conclusion that was not acceptable to the White House and like the Oklahoma bombing, also occurred on Clinton’s watch.

The Clinton’s have a lot to answer for.

  3. State cops, among all other state and federal officials, have taken the oath to support and defend “this Constitution,” see Article VI itself, along with a similar oath to obey their respective state constitutions. Significantly the phrase “this Constitution” is used so that no one can claim ignorance. It means, underscored by the specific word “this,” the written one, not the imagined one of the left’s fevered dreamings. It’s the one that the contains the 2d Amendment. [That phrase, “this Constitution,” is found 11 times in the 1787 document.]

The Article VI oath is to obey the Constitution, the concepts of the written document, not the ravings of constitutionally-unmoored politicians.

For further insightful reading, may I suggest Live Free or Die: How Many More Carl Dregas? by Vin Suprynowicz (1998),

  4. I think this article may have been written in response to this from the CT newspaper the Hartford Courant.

    Link:
    http://www.courant.com/news/opinion/editorials/hc-ed-gun-registration-20140214,0,4908372.story

Here the newspaper calls for the police to go through the background checks and figure out who owns a illegal gun and hunt them down and put the people into prison or shoot them. Because that’s going to be result if the police do it.

Now the police if they are smart like the police in CA. They’re going to ignore the cries of the tyrannical Leftist run news rags and just go about their daily duties.

Why did I bring up CA? Because after our first assault weapons ban, there was only a 7% compliance rate among gun owners. In short there was a mass refusal to comply with the law. It made the governor and the rest of the political class in Sacramento look impotent. Of course the press shut up real fast when they realized only they and the tiny but loud mouthed political class were behind it.

Why didn’t the police go after gun owners and do direct gun confiscation? Because it would start a fight they couldn’t win and turn the only people that tacitly support them against them.

Do you really want to be a LEO with everyone hating your guts and worried about getting the Dorner treatment every time you stop your patrol car?

I do hope the CT police wisely choose to ignore the insane demands of a disconnected and rabid political elite. Remember they won’t pay a price for enforcing what amounts to a illegal law – you will.

    • You are correct that this was in response to what the Courant and many of the political elite have been pushing for quite some time. The prevailing attitude in states as CT, MA etc. is for this type of gun control to be enforced at any and all costs, to me, you and those in LE know that stepping into this will be stepping into a never ending den of extremely mad, determined vipers that will fight back, and do so willingly, against such tyranny.

The knee JERK reactions such as we have seen from the not only the far left peddlers of regressive progressiveism and some who call themselves ‘conservatives’ was predictable after such a tragedy as Sandy Hook and the others that preceded SH. Keep in mind that almost every mass shooting that occurs is from someone that is extremely mentally ill and usually from a progressive background, not 100% but usually.

What Mr. Vanderboegh has superbly written is not one bit surprising to me as I have followed Sipsey Street and other III Perecenter sites for quite some time. He has expressed how many of us feel and how most us WILL react if LE decides to try and track us down and confiscate our weapons. None of us are itching for a fight nor are we looking for a second revolution. BUT with the ways things and events are spinning out of control, it is hard not to see dark and quite possibly, bloody times ahead. My family knows that I will not willingly surrender nor be loaded into a cattle car and herded into some far away camp. How I feel has cost me many so called ‘friends’ and alienated from some of own family. So be it and my kids are now realizing that dear old dad was not totally off his nut.

Egghead is not off on his comments and the regime is just one ‘crisis or emergency away from declaring martial law for our own good.

The second amendment got a boost by the latest ruling out of the Ninth Circuit Court Of Appeals in California last week:

      http://callofthepatriot.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-ninth-circuit-decision-is.html

      This far from over.

Two sites I have learned much from are Western Rifle Shooters Association and Views From Liberty Hollow.

As I age, my resolve, determination and love for freedom grows deeper with each passing day.

Thank you for posting this here. The post fits in quite well here as I see it and the people who I know who are like the author of this letter are almost 100% against Islam and sharia law. I cannot speak for them per say of course, but the vast majority are quite intelligent and realize the multiple dangers that we are facing. Many of us have also been more than willing to educate others. Read into that what you will.

  5. This imbroglio is the Left’s remedy for the mass shooting at Newtown by an unhinged mentally ill adolescent. Instead of looking into ways to make sure kids like this are put into mandatory treatment, they go after gun owners…I’m trying to think of an apropos comparison. Perhaps it would be the Coast Guard coming upon a cruise ship listing to its side and instead of helping the passengers – who themselves are bailing either figuratively or literally – decide to arrest/harass them.

Connecticut – and New England in general – is not a friendly place for non-socialists who are teetotalers (i.e., those who don’t drink pink koolaid, the only drink on offer).

Anyone remember the white male firefighters who took their case to the Supreme Court?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricci_v._DeStefano

    • The coastguard would proceed to the nearest Yacht Marina and arrest all the owners of Ocean Racers….

The US citizen, standing upon the second amendment is the only barrier to the ‘one worlders’. Some of us appreciate what these HEROs are doing, they are laying their lives on the line for all of us.

I hate the thought of my granddaughters growing up as slaves in a ‘droits de seigneurs’ type of environment, but that will be the real consequence of inaction at this time. The failure of the UK to deal with the officials who allowed the grooming gangs to continue their operations indicates the way things are going.

  6. All I can say is: DEFINITELY read Jayna Davis’ book on the Oklahoma City bombing. It is mandatory information for anyone who intends to try to understand the nature of the world we are actually living in. And, by the way, in 2011 one of the people she identified as extremely likely to have been involved in that massive attack, Al-Husseini, was picked up in some small town in Massachusetts after a drunken brawl. That event, the attack in Oklahoma City, and the reappearance of one of the likely participants, all have disappeared down the black memory hole that our alert press consigns all uncomfortable issues to.

  7. If people were to google Lame Cherry (read it out loud to yourself, ignore any offense, and mine for the MANY nuggets of pure gold delivered every day), then people would read that Lame Cherry believes that the government is using its gun control measures as a ruse to distract while it develops more sophisticated weapons like mosquito sized robots that will murder you and yours while you clutch your guns against your bosoms in your homes – and elsewhere.

The government is close to tracking people everywhere that we go by shop, highway, or space-based cameras and RFD chips embedded in phones (or driver’s licenses, credit cards, cars, or even our bodies as administered via food items or by vaccines that will be administered door to door in necessary). Under any health crisis declared by the president, Department of Homeland Security rules give police permission to go door to door to forcibly vaccinate people. That’s police – rather than nurses – who would be forcibly vaccinating people. Oh, and eventually those ‘police’ sent to your house will be robots. If you are on the wrong government list, you will get the ‘special’ vaccination – and your own home becomes your personal concentration camp until it becomes your grave after termite robots work together to raze it to the ground. After all, Agenda 21 fully intends revert large swaths of the world back to its ‘natural’ state completely uninhabited by any humans – humans who currently live in those areas….

    • Had a look at your links, Egghead- scary stuff. But, while finding Americans’ obsession with gun ownership odd, I think you’re too pessimistic; the above article mentions that many Connecticut citizens are failing to register their assault weapons. Your fellow-US citizens seem to me unlikely to give up their other freedoms easily.

      • Mark H, what is so odd and obsessional about wanting to protect oneself with the best and most trust worthy means available? Surely you don’t subscribe to the notion that government knows best when it comes to a person’s inalienable right to self-defence?

      • It is not an obsession with gun ownership, Mark H, not at all.

It is what gave a ragged bunch of patriots in 1776 a chance, not even a fair chance, but a chance to stand up to tyranny. We ‘gun obsessed’ Americans have watched country after country disarm their citizens through various means and have also watched various forms of evil bring ruination to the country their corrupt leaders ‘cared’ so much about. It is the best way to protect yourself. your loved ones and your what is yours, period. I refuse to wait 20 minutes for LEO to respond to someone breaking into my home and trying to steal from me or harm my family. I have seen how the gov’t now respects our right to defend ourselves, take the Zimmerman case for an example. GZ was being beaten to shreds and the gov’t tried to crucify him for self defense. The merits of case do not need to be hashed out in this forum. The POTUS meddled in this case and has made it clear he and his traitorous bunch want every American disarmed. If you think they just ‘reasonable safe gun regulations’, you are very wrong. The gov’t wants every state to become Connecticut.

As Australia has already been mentioned here, no need for me to do so. If we Americans give up our second amendment rights then freedom here in the States will have been truly lost. The road to hell is really paved with good intentions. Tyranny from the extreme far left or far right has always packaged evil this way. Too many of our fellow American citizens have already allowed too many of our freedoms to be ‘voted and regulated away. Japan never invaded the USA during WWII because they realized so many Americans owned guns. The gov’t wants to ‘know’ where every weapon is for one reason, confiscation. I refuse to comply and leave myself, my loved ones, my country, defenseless against a gov’t hell bent on eating itself from the inside out.

        • Americans rightly freed themselves from tyranny (ours!), and subsequently added a right to bear arms to the Constitution so they could have a citizens’ militia, like the Swiss, as a standing army was not envisaged.

The US now has the world’s most powerful military (unless China has overtaken it). If a weapon is needed for personal protection, a handgun should be enough. So heavier arms can only be for a potential conflict between some citizens and the government, which last time I looked was democratically elected; and although some law officers may not always behave correctly, do you really believe the military would obey orders from any president to wage war against their fellow-citizens?

I’m quite willing to be corrected if you think I’m being naive. One relatively minor point: the Japanese didn’t have the resources to conquer the US, and indeed had lost the war by 1942 (Midway, Coral Sea).

          • Mark, having spent some time in the Australian Army where I got to shoot off many different weapons, being armed with only a handgun against such weaponry while expecting to protect yourself would be a fools errand.

Obama has been purging the US military of all ranks above Lt Colonel for the past two years of all those who have stated that they would refuse to fire on American citizens.

            Never trust any government!

  8. I hope everyone reading this has read Diana West’s American Betrayal, and please buy it as I’m sure she needs the money, and her publisher should be encouraged as well. All of these things you speak of have happened before. One big difference between now and 1950 is that the average person has better access to information. I’m Canadian (with American roots going back to the 1700’s) but I have a suggestion for Americans. Get a campaign going to mark a day in the calendar as Joe McCarthy Day, perhaps his birthday Nov. 14. He was a true American martyr and deserves to be honoured. His name must be cleared of all the calumnies that have been heaped on him. Make it a day of education so the people of the world may learn about the malignancy of the Soviet regime, and the dupes and traitors that served it. Russians as well as Americans need to know.

    • Barry, I too believe that Senator Joseph McCarthy was not just a martyr to what he believed in, but a true American Patriot who should be celebrated. BTW, I’m an Aussie who can see many parallels between Australian and American history.

      • I hope you can see, too, besides the parallels between the US and Australia, the ways in which our countries diverged. Partly cultural, but also the fact that Oz refused to allow blacks to immigrate. I always thought that you had your hands full with the indigenous people (where we had wiped ours out) in Australia and though it was a tough rule, it was good for the country.

That was even back before we took a cultural shotgun to our black population, crippling it completely with our paternal kindness of easy money for nothing. In the beginning battles of The War on Poverty (a genocide targeting the strengths of black culture) we set ruinous rules: only ‘famlies’ in which there were no husbands or fathers qualified for children’s benefits. Is that satanic or what??

It was akin to the old war on rural women – i.e., barefoot in summer and pregnant in winter will keep women from wandering too far.

Oz also benefits from a stable rational healthcare system which works for an isolated country like yours. Canada limps along with its version bec the affluent can go across the border for ‘elective’ treatment they’d have to wait years to get up there.

Your system of parliamentary democracy is better than what we have. This purported “two-party” system is really just one party with two heads. Between the two brains we have almost a full IQ, but unfortunately the greed is doubled.

Eventually Australia will grow closer to China and that’s as it should be. China needs to join the entire human circle more fully and y’all are smart enough and tough enough to help them while you also profit from the collaboration. Obviously it’s not that China doesn’t have a strong culture, but the internal conflicts which have engendered millenia-deep corruption will fester even more as they rub up against the West. China is a lesson on the evils of bureaucracy but they have an inherent abhorrence of too much ‘liberty’…

  9. Dymphna, that is a very thoughtful comment! And going on what I take from your comment, I believe there are more good points than bad that both nations share in their history. And in regard to the native American population, as compared to our own Aboriginal population, the marked difference in how both cultures have been treated must come down to the general aggressive attitude and nature of the native American and his ability to wage war – especially as they were in effect mobile cavalry – as compared to our own Aboriginal people who were very limited in their aggression and abilities to wage more than a token resistance as recorded in isolated incidents.

But overall, the Australian Aborigine was treated much kinder under British rule than what could have been expected under the Spanish or the French, who by the way, were only beaten by a number of days in claiming what is now Australia.

Our’ luck’ in not importing black slaves at the time simply comes down to the fact that prisoners were far more abundant and cheaper to use when establishing the colony of New South Wales. Too, early Australians came to understand the lessons learned by the British Empire when cultures clashed through colonization. That certain cultures were not ‘adaptable’ to Western standards is an attitude which still rings true today to those who value their history lessons, and was the predominant factor in establishing the White Australia policy which was trashed many decades ago by the ‘progressives’.

So alas, under the previous Labor and the Coalition government before it, many thousands of Nigerian and Sudanese Africans have been imported, and while many just wish to forget what they have escaped and fit right in with the rest of us, many of the young bucks cannot, and have been causing some very serious social problems in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, and to a lesser extent, Newcastle on the central NSW coast.

There is much talk about China from Australian politicians and China through one of its retired People’s Army directors has given Australia an ultimatum, and I guess a warning, that Australia cannot serve two masters, meaning of course the treaties with the US or business with China.

What becomes of the future relationship between Australia and both the US and China is yet to be seen, especially as the US declines in its military preparedness and its economy teeters on another Great Depression or worse. Australia is a legitimate military target according to the Chinese while ever we host the American military on our soil, but having made myself aware of just how sophisticated the joint American/Australian facilities are at Pine Gap and North West Cape, I can’t see the US abandoning those very valuable military assets.

The Chinese are generally nice people, at least to your face, and our larger cities have huge populations of them who like to stick together. There has always been a Chinese presence in Australia, and while the Chinese have not escaped the odd racist attack over time from the more narrow minded White Australian, they are now openly targeted by the Lebanese Muslim, but most have settled into the background and rarely make waves.

The oriental mind is a complex thing, and as you say the idea of too much liberty can be a daunting prospect for that kind of thinking, but the idea of democracy is like a beacon to millions of them in China.

Who knows what the future may bring for any of us?

  10. The innocence of Westerners being colonized by HOSTILE INVADING FORCES baffles me. The entire West is set to be conquered by DEFAULT because NO ONE is minding the store. Summary: Poor people (non-Westerners) want what rich people (Westerners) have – and poor people will rape and murder rich people to get riches.

Please read the Thirty-Six Stratagems. The Chinese living in Australia are an advance army of Chinese. We here in the USA have our advance army of Chinese, too, with Chinese birthing thousands of children here and returning them to China to be raised as Chinese (often until elementary school age) with full rights to return to the USA in due time and be elected our president, etc. Just a question, but do you think that even one non-Asian American citizen will ever be eligible to rule as the leading member of China’s government?!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirty-Six_Stratagems

The Thirty-Six Stratagems was a Chinese essay used to illustrate a series of stratagems used in politics, war, as well as in civil interaction.

Here’s one that I like to mention: Hide a knife behind a smile (Charm and ingratiate yourself to your enemy. When you have gained his trust, move against him in secret.)

Meanwhile, various states in the USA are creating ‘free-enterprise’ zones which will operate as vast de facto Chinese military bases within the continental USA – free from any environmental or worker salary and safety laws that American businesses must follow – except that our Chinese immigrants who are sure to be members of the Red Army are to be awarded dual citizenship as USA and Chinese citizens. Sweet deal if you can get it!
