Appointment in Vienna

At the request of Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff met today in Vienna with a congressional delegation from the United States. In addition to Ms. Bachmann, Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Robert Pittenger (R-NC), and Steve King (R-IA) were present.

The private meeting took place this afternoon (early evening Austrian time) in a local Viennese coffeehouse. The American visitors had heard about Elisabeth’s case, and discussed it with her over Apfelstrudel, Sachertorte and Viennese coffee.

The congressmen and woman listened intently to what Elisabeth had to say. Rep. Bachmann was particularly concerned about the recent supreme court decision that upheld Elisabeth’s “hate speech” conviction.

“We don’t want this to happen in the USA,” said Ms. Bachmann. “Every American citizen has the right to express themselves. Everyone should have the security to speak.

“We are proud of you. You are a brave and unique person. God has given you a special gift to speak out.”

Rep. Gohmert and the other congressmen said they were appalled by the decision.

After the meeting, Rep. Bachmann told Elisabeth that meeting with her had been the highlight of her visit to Vienna. Then Elisabeth walked the American delegation to their next meeting with Austrian MPs. The American representatives said they were anxious to discuss the case with their Austrian counterparts.

  1. The people who implemented these orwellan laws to silence us, to kill free speech need to be rounded up, arrested, and given life sentences.

    Or better, [redacted]!

The individuals, who are upholding these persecution laws, the judges and prosecutors are mentally ill or are being paid off by muslim oil money to silence us.

We must repeal these laws immediatly, we must arrest those who engineered the implementation of such evil legislation.

They are the real monsters here, the real enemy, we need to find these individuals, [and commence imprudently-worded activities].

These faceless beauracrats, pretenders, who are working into the night to undermine the decency of us all.

    You know who you are…

    Soon well be [redacted]…..

    • “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

      • May I cite an ancient Arab proverb?

“Better a thousand enemies outside the tent than one inside.”

Which is, BTW the common wisdom of all but contemporary Western Whites.

        • Why must you say “whites”? For someone of your intellect, it’s extremely simplistic, and appears calculated to alienate possible converts to the antijihad cause who have some idea of the danger of islamism, but believe people should be judged on merit, not ethnicity.

          • because “Whites” are the most politically correct, self flagellating of the races. you should know if you’re paying attention. Sadly, most whites live in an unreality.

    • Baron or Dymphna, whichever of you (or is it both of you?) does these [redacted] replacements for unacceptable expressive choices gives me some good laughs. The above insertion of “[and commence imprudently-worded activities]” gave me one of the best laughs I’ve had in a while. It’s a classic in my opinion.

      • Thank you. It makes an otherwise tedious job fun. If I didn’t have the chance to be creative with these (as was the case with Blogger, which did not allow me to edit comments), I would just delete them.

As it is, I get to exercise my ingenuity to see how many different ways I can euphemize [persons whose qualities I find less than admirable] and [individuals of diminished mental capacity].

  2. Well deserved and much needed American recognition & validation for ESW ‘s struggle for liberty. Ms. Bachmann, Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Robert Pittenger (R-NC), and Steve King (R-IA) are foot soldiers in a battle to secure liberties won long ago but risks being mortally wounded by the sword of encroaching ignorance.

  3. This was an important meeting. Conservatives on both sides of the pond must stand together for freedom and common sense. The Reagan-Thatcher bond was a blessing to both the USA and UK. We pray something similar may ultimately happen.

  4. Quote:
“We don’t want this to happen in the USA,” said Ms. Bachmann.
    end

I’m glad to hear you say that, Michele.
The problem is that it’s already happening in Florida and Michigan.

    • Not only that: it has already happened to Bachmann herself, big time, and to King too, except in a different way than they do it in Europe. Bachmann’s presidential campaign was squashed in the bud by the satanic MSM, with the “conservative” Fox Network being quite as courageous in its opposition as the GOP is. As to King, he is one of the very few — count them on one hand– Congressmen who speak the truth about the United States’ suicide-by-Migra. When was the last time you read in the NYT or saw on NBC what he has to say?

Moreover, every day, literally, someone loses his job or is denied promotion because he said something offensive to Blacks, GLBT, Muslims. Mexicans etc. It’s like living under occupation by alien zombies. Tends to chill free speech, doesn’t it?

  5. “…we need to find these individuals, [and commence imprudently-worded activities].”

I couldn’t stop laughing for five minutes! Thank you Baron for the artful moderation, the holiday cheer and all that you do year round.

  6. For all intents and purposes we do have speech codes in the U.S. Violate them at your own risk. Now the police won’t arrest you, but if you’re a private sector employee like Phil Robertson(working for Hollywood’s A&E) you can find yourself without a job. If you’re a elected official you can expect a visit from Maldef, NAACP or B-Rock O’breezy’s DoJ legal attack dogs.

So don’t expect officials to openly make statements that are un-PC/MC or Conservative in nature unless they can take the heat like Joe Arpio or aren’t afraid to risk having their political career cut short like Michelle Bachmann.

Oddly enough if you’re a Leftist you can openly label anyone you want as a racist, ne0-Nazi, bigot, hater, homophobe, Islamophobe, etc. You can call for the mass murder or deaths of a particular demographic segment or person; demonize women; vilify Jews; support Jihadis; etc. All without repercussions.

The torrent of hate spewed by the Left along with their total intolerance for a diversity of views and opinions IMO makes them just as much a threat to the West as Islam.

  10. Thanks for this article, and kudos and thanks to Michelle Bachmann (R-MN), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Robert Pittenger (R-NC), Steve King (R-IA), and Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff. Special thanks and acclaim to Michelle Bachmann for initiating this meeting. It is such an encouragement to see them do this. Thanks also to God.

  11. Elizabeth Sabaditch Wolf, Bachman, King, Gohmert, Brigite Gabriel, Orly Taitz, let your lights hine. You give me hope. Thank you.

  12. I too welcome this meeting. What surprises me is that it took place in a Viennese coffee shop. From personal experience I have concluded that Vienna is populated by two classes of people. Firstly there are those who sit in coffee shops watching people walking past in the street. Then, there are those who walk up and down outside coffee shops waiting for those inside to leave so that they themselves can go in.
