Gavin Boby in Montreal, Part 2

Gavin Boby of Law and Freedom appeared on Tuesday night at Ruby Foo’s Restaurant and Hotel in Montreal. This is the second part of the talk he gave to an audience of Quebec’s notorious “Islamophobes”.

Many thanks to the Montreal camera crew for recording this video, and to Vlad Tepes for uploading it:

For more on Gavin Boby’s activities opposing the construction of mosques, see the Law and Freedom Archives.

  1. What a wonderful man! Having been educated in Architecture and Planning and having worked as a commercial property analyst I can tell you that what he says is absolutely true regarding the demise of a neighborhood. Be it a mosque or a big box store, your first line of defense is parking. You must nail them on parking and traffic flow.
He is also correct to state that if the Planning Commision allows a disruptive use into the community the next step is “block busting.” That is individuals or real estate agents coming into the community and “strongly” advising you to sell and move away.
The best and most effective method of stopping this spiral is to nip it in the bud during the planning application stage.
