The Grand Mufti in a Waffen SS Group Photo

Our Swedish correspondent LN sent me this photograph of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem in company with some of his good friends:

Mohammad Amin al-Husayni with the Bosnian Waffen SS

I don’t know where LN found this photo, but he says it hasn’t been seen before.

Mohammad Amin al-Husayni was the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem during the height of the Third Reich, and collaborated closely with the Nazi regime on an issue of mutual interest: the extermination of the Jews. He was particularly involved with Nazi operations in the Balkans, where Muslims from Bosnia and Serbia were actively recruited for the Waffen SS.

As a matter of interest, the Grand Mufti was also a cousin of Yasser Arafat, whose real name was Abd al-Rahman abd al-Bauf Arafat al-Qud al-Husayni. Arafat later shortened it for public consumption, in order to conceal his kinship with the old Nazi collaborator. However, he continued to revere his relative, referring to him privately as “my uncle”.

but he says it hasn’t been seen before.

Now that you mention it, why does he think this photo wasn’t seen before? The english commentary at the base of this photo appears to be from a book or publication of some sort. Hmm, Now I’m really curious.

It baffles that throughout the Arafat years, the Israeli MSM, Mossad, etc. did not reveal this heinous kinship early in his career.

Prior to 9/11, I did not follow politics and world affairs beyond the 6pm news with a disinterested shrug. It was a couple of years after 9/11 that I first read about the grand mufti and his relationship to Arafat at a website called “Tell the children the truth”.

It is frightening to see how little our own msm, government and politicians contribute (past or present) to the discussion. Beyond stupifying, this intentional ignorance is deadly.

  2. I love the Mufti. The vassals have been able to stifle the debate on just about anything by depicting their opponants as nazis après la lettre. Thanks to the good old Mufti this weapon now backfires at them, disclosing them as friends of antisemitism. And when they realize that, they usually snap. I love that sound. Nothing sounds better than a vassal being robbed of what he charishes most: his moral superiority.

    Snouck:
Wikipedia does not agree with you, Sir. Mr. Arafat belongs to the Husayn clan from Gaza and apparently this is a different clan than the influential Husayni clan from Jerusalem. Both the Mufti and Qadar Al Husayni are from the Jerusalem Husayni clan. Wikipedia: It should be noted that Arafat’s clan, al-Husseini was based in Gaza and should not be confused with the well-known, but unrelated, al-Husayni clan of Jerusalem.

    Baron Bodissey:

    Snouck:
In many languages it is common to use family designations, such as father, uncle, brother to denote friendship or spiritual kinship. It does not actually designate a family relationship. E.g. I heard Turks say: “Kemal Ataturk was Hitler’s elder brother” meaning it as a compliment to Hitler.

Arafat naming the Mufti as his “uncle” means that he agrees with his positions and wants to follow in his footsteps, is my interpretation.

  4. Snouck is correct. Arafat was schooled by the Grand Mufti.

    According to the website http://www.tellthechildrenthetruth.com/amin_en.html#part4

1946 Egyptian-born Yasser Arafat [xlii] meets Amin Al-Husseini at age 17 and starts to work for him. Amin Al-Husseini allegedly great-uncle of Arafat, whose real name is Mohammed Abder Rauf Arafat Al-Kudwa Al-Husseini. Arafat reportedly changed his name intentionally to disguise his connection to Amin al-Husseini. Amin Al-Husseini places Yasser Arafat in charge of arms procurement and shipment for the Mufti’s Irregular Forces: “The Holy Strugglers”

    but further down:

In 1974 that website provides an image of Arafat at the grand mufti’s funeral with the caption:

“Arafat Paying Hommage to His Mentor. Amin Al Husseini’s Funeral. 1974″

  5. Here is a photo of soldiers of the Handschar division reading antisemitic propaganda.

It must be mentioned that Handschar competed for the booby prize of least effective SS division. Despite Himmlers high hopes, they refused to fight entirely and never participating in any serious combat, and even mutinied twice, but had a nasty reputation of atrocities against the Serbs in the mere six months of anti-partisan operations they managed between training and disbanding (the Yugoslavs extradited some 30+ of the officers post war and executed ten, in addition to any caught locally). Pretty poor nazis but typical Muslim bandits in other words.

In the end, attempts to link the Nazi regime with the Palis are more than a little tenuous, and in the end little more than a guilt by association smear.

  6. Go watch Obsession, the movie..You can watch it on You-tube or google.
They pay a great deal of attention to the links between nazi-Germany and islam, and the role of the mufti and his Hanschar-regiments
The propaganda nazism used to ‘justify’ the Endlösung to ‘the jewish question’ is eerily similar to islamic anti-jewish imagery

  7. The link to particular Palestinian anti-Semitism is explicit. It started much before WWII, specifically at the Great Arab Revolt of 1936 against the British rule, a revolt paid and armed by Germany, and the event that transformed the Muslim Brotherhood from a small elite to a broad movement of 200,000 members, institutions and all.

This went along with relevant propaganda – including of course translating Mein Kampf into “My Jihad”, “Protocols of the Elders of Zions” and other yucky stuff. It’s not just eeringly similar, it is related.

  8. In addition to Obsession, which many of us knows quite well, I can recommend the predecessor Relentless, which focuses more directly on the Israel-Palestine conflict and the egnigma that these people are still fighting after 60 years of peace efforts.

That movie set quite a few facts straight to me and made me a better pro-Israel debater.

  9. HerRoyalWhyness: Beyond stupifying, this intentional ignorance is deadly.

Especially to us, the little people. Our traitor elite reside in their gated communities, fly on their private jets and are surrounded by their 24/7 bodyguards. WE are the ones who must bear the brunt of Islamic terrorism. Lamp posts. Lamp posts.

Henrik, I have just finished watching the “Relentless” video. Thank you so much for posting the link. Please rest assured that it will be shared with everyone I know.

While the video really did not contain any information that I didn’t already know, it was almost stunning to see the meticulous recounting of such outright treachery and perfidy.

In some ways it redefined for me the meaning of taqiyya. What the video did manage to inspire in me was one single question:

WHY HAS NOT ONE SINGLE ARAB LEADER DENOUNCED THIS ONGOING AND PROFOUND REPUDIATION OF ARAB HONOR?

The answer is more than clear. NOWHERE is there a single Muslim leader who feels the least embarassment or regret over such a complete and total betrayal of international diplomacy.

This is what we must continue to expect from Islam at all times. If a small scale conflict—however larger the philosophical dispute may be—like that with the Israelis can evoke such consistent and shameless deceit, what can we expect from Muslims on the global stage?

It’s long past tea to rip the mask from Islamic pretense regarding any desire for peace. They will have NONE OF IT and NEITHER SHOULD WE. Islam claims that it is only their radical elements that make war upon the West. Let us answer such a dubious and misleading claim with the only appropriate reply there is: TOTAL WAR.

    Is my utter disgust showing?

    GOOD!
